Pros I really like the editor and the themes, creating a newsletter letter is easy and the process of correcting and sending test emails is nice, it’s possible to iterate quickly. Cons The costs is the big con, it’s only affordable if your campaigns are super effective or if you send to a few hundreds of recipients. Also after a few years they will delete your data and you will lose everything, for the price paid it’s a no no. Review Source JB John B. It's been a flexible system which has scaled with our business and makes it easy for us to send mass-marketing emails. Pros I really like using Mailchimp. It's very user-friendly, and their team are always coming up with useful updates to keep up to speed with a rapidly changing digital marketing world. Cons There is honestly not much I don't like about Mailchimp. Pros I love being able to integrate Mailchimp with many of our other apps and services to ensure we are capturing useful data to build our marketing campaigns. Cons I would love to see a small reduction in the cost per month for Mailchimp, however I do see value in it's features. I've used Mailchimp to create monthly newsletter-style emails as well as automated welcome campaigns to nurture new leads. It has served my needs and the needs of my clients well. Pros Mailchimp is pretty user-friendly (especially the new email builder), easy to get set-up and has all of the features you'd want in an email marketing system. Cons Mailchimp used to have a VERY generous free plan, but have recently changed their structure for the free plan as well as raised their prices. Pros It's basic in a way that a non-computer pro can figure out. Cons That there isn't a chat button when I don't know how to make what should be an easy change. I had to give up on a campaign I had almost completed when I couldn't figure out how to change the background color where our company information went in the footer.
