Mailchimp is one of our favorite tools when running our business. We recommend it to anyone who wants to reach their audience creatively and effectively.

Pros

Mailchimp offers a user friendly interface making it simple to navigate and use efficiently. Our favorite features include: email template creation, duplicating campaigns to use over and over as we need them, scheduling campaigns in the future making easy to "set it and forget it" giving our employees the ability to complete other tasks. Tracking our emails and who and when they were read is also a very valuable tool.

Cons

There are some limitations within the free version of the software. However, there are plenty of features to take advantage of without spending any money.

In my consultancy, Mailchimp allowed many of our clients to quickly ramp up their marketing efforts with very small teams and little effort. It does get expensive as companies scale though.

Pros

The low barrier to entry. The pricing for small businesses is very attractive, and between transactional mails, templates and automations it has everything.

Cons

The biggest issue with Mailchimp is how quickly their pricing ramps up, making it preventatively expensive to maintain larger mailing lists.

Good experience overall. Generally unimpressed with customer service, especially as we were setting up our API with our Salesforce CRM. Lots of “it’s not our issue”. Wish there was better support sometimes, but I appreciate they have steps to get ahold of someone.

Pros

It’s simple and straightforward to get running with solid marketing campaigns. And you don’t have to worry about email deliverability or any issues.

Cons

I dislike the lack of customization options in their drag and drop email builder. Sometimes their product feels too simplified.

I've successfully set up my MailChimp account to cater to nearly a dozen segmented lists. The flexibility of email templates and the option to design my own are crucial. The overall product, except for a few features (potentially limited by my pricing tier), appears highly customizable. I can schedule emails at my convenience, automate their delivery, and monitor the actions of my audience.

Cons

My emails are used to seamlessly synchronize with my social media accounts. However, for the past 9-12 months, this integration has not been working. Due to a decrease in the number of emails sent this year, I haven't had the opportunity to research and address this issue in the Support Center. Nevertheless, I've noticed that the problem coincided with a significant redesign.

I highly recommend Mailchimp to entrepeneurs, startups, or people just starting out with email marketing. Along the road you will likely want to migrate to a different system, but this is a great one to get started with, accessible, affordable and easy to pick up, which can't be said for a lot of marketing tools out there.

Pros

I've used Mailchimp for almost a decade, across multiple businesses and sectors. It couldn't be easier to get started with, so it's excellent for marketing teams who don't have a dedicated CRM or email marketing expert. You can easily create and edit templates which streamline your workflow and allows you to concentrate on content, rather than coding or creating mobile optimised designs.

Cons

Because it's automatically mobile optimised, there are a lot of limitations when it comes to design functionality. You have to adapt your idea of a layout to the Mailchimp platform - it's too complex to try to start editing the code and creating your own layouts, which are easily broken or become truncated in popular email clients. Generally this isn't a problem though unless you have a particularly picky client. I'm also not a huge fan of the CRM functionality, it's fine if you have a small database or minimal data work to do, but it's difficult to manage a large database (although you could easily integrate Mailchimp with other database management software if your budget allowed). I also had issues in the past with spam signups which weren't automatically flagged, making database management very manual.

Overall I had a good experience using Mailchimp initially as it allowed me to try email marketing easily and at a low cost. But as my contact list grew, I realized I needed more advanced features and capability that only paid plans could offer. Although the product quality and customer service were excellent, the next level of my business required moving to a more robust email marketing solution. Mailchimp was a good introduction but fell short of my medium-term needs

Pros

I mainly liked Mailchimp's simple and friendly interface. I could very easily access all the tools and features I needed to manage my email list such as email marketing campaigns, edit templates, create audience segments, and send newsletters. Another thing I appreciated was the number of professional and inclusive templates they offered for my designs, which made my work much faster. The online editor was quite intuitive and allowed me to test changes live

Cons

What I liked least about Mailchimp were some of its limitations for FREE users. You could only have up to 2,000 subscribers and send up to 6,000 emails per month. For my business this fell short after a few months. I also missed some integrations with other tools that were only available in the paid plans. I also found the support a bit limited having only access to online help

Considering the price I pay every month and the return I get from using this software for my site I am fairly satisfied with the results I get for using it. I definitely think this is worth a try if you are new to site building like I was.

Pros

This is a super easy software to use especially if you aren't tech savvy. It helps guide you with site layout and formatting, gives site statistics and insights, and boosts your social media accounts and SEO.

Cons

Once you become familiar with the software's tools it becomes a bit oversimplified in the design department. It lacks features like gallery wall options which would have been super helpful for me.

La gran ventaja de Mailchimp es que cuenta con gran cantidad de herramientas, características y funcionalidades apra sacar el máximo provecho a las campañas de email marketing, también cuenta con la opción de crear correos transaccionales o correos automatizados que envían una respuesta automática según la acción realizada por la persona que recibe el correo, por ejemplo, si da click en determinado botón, se le envía un correo especifico, esto tiene una gran ventaja y es que al ser una plataforma tan popular a nivel mundial, se integra de manera muy fácil con programas como WordPress, Prestashop, Bitrix24, entre otros.

Cons

La contra que tiene Mailchimp en comparación con otras plataformas de email marketing, es que no es tan sencilla de configurar, hay muchas plataformas más que son mucho más intuitivas, asimismo, los precios de Mailchimp son los más elevados del mercado, auqnue también es la herramienta que cuenta con más características y funcionalidades en comparación con otras.

Overall, I am very happy with Mailchimp. Our company does not do a ton of email marketing & communications, but when we do use Mailchimp, it does not disapppoint. We find it is the perfect solution for where we are at currently in our email marketing journey.

Pros

I enjoy Mailchimp's general ease of use. The layout and templates are very intuitive and the overall design language of the platform is well thought out. I also appreciate the platform's clear and easy to understand analytics and delivery data. At a glance, I can look back and see how well an email campaign performed without too much fuss.

Cons

In my experience, audience management in Mailchimp is a bit fussy and inelegant. My team has struggled to separate our internal customers from external customers easily since all the email addresses and profiles were batch uploaded when we first began using the product. While this is probably user error more than anything, I'd like to see some clearer tools to deal with audience management in the future.

E' molto conosciuto, facile, chiaro e intuitivo in quasi tutto. Ottimo per avvicinarsi a questo tipo di software ma poi consiglierei di passare ad altroEra un software usato da chiunque anche nella versione base prima che cambiassero i prezzi e mettessero a pagamento tutto. Ora la versione gratuita di prova è davvero ridotta.

Mailchimp is the industry leader for a reason - they are currently the best email marketing service on the market. And I know, because I've tried many. We get a lot of our business through email marketing, so getting into more mailboxes, and getting a stronger click thru rate is huge, and I test a lot of competitors for that reason. Mailchimp continuously has the best deliverability and sales rates for us. They are the most expensive software for us, but when we run the numbers it's worth it to make the extra sales.

Pros

Mailchimp is easy to use. You can setup up a campaign in minutes and be emailing your customers. We have tried many other companies, trying to save money, and always end up back with Mailchimp. We definitely recommend them for email marketing.

Cons

Price. They are definitely the priciest service out there, without a lot of options for customers who don't send frequently. We are a company with a limited product offering, and don't need to send daily emails. We contact customer about 2x per month. Other companies offer much cheaper plans for our smaller send ratio, but we have greater success with deliverability and open rate with Mailchimp, so we stay and pay the higher rate.

Loved the tool and its many add ons, but the support contacts know less than the customers, so not worth the money for the monthly subscriptions. With my last enquiry I was passed to about 9 different people none of whom could help me.

Pros

The tools are very evolved and useful for campaigns with frequent activities and reporting. The AI is put to good use to anticipate response and tailor presentation. There are new tools launched on a regular basis to make this an exciting suite of products and potentially a market leader.

Cons

The price has more than doubled in less than one year which is inexplicable, and the support has become deplorably poor, so much so that I have paused my account after 7+ years as a customer.

I've been using mailchimp for many years now, and the speed with which I create my content is amazing. The tools it makes available are many and varied, and I usually advise my customers who are new to mail marketing to start using mailchimp, synchronizing their stores thanks to the handy wordpress plugin.

Pros

Among the many similar products, I find that mailchimp is the most suitable even for beginners to understand the mechanisms of mail marketing and create effective campaigns, because it offers many powerful tools, such as the Creator Assistant, which allow everyone to succeed in creating email campaigns very effective.

Cons

Some things that I have found for free elsewhere, such as managing workflows for automations, are automatically paid for here.

The free tier in Mailchimp is packed with valuable features. You can set up a solid online marketing campaign, with good email templates, and get great results in no time.Adding sign-up forms to your website and/or create landing pages is added in the free tier, and you can even create your own website!

Cons

Mailchimp feels a bit off. It is difficult to explain, but it feels old. Doing simple tasks in Mailchimp, like editing a landing page or email, should be simple, but it feels difficult.This has to do with the fact that the logic behind the settings and where they are located, sometimes is not intuitive.

I did end up choosing for both. Now, I use Mailchimp with a couple of my clients, and use Mailerlite for my personal campaigns.It really differs from person to person, it seems. Some like Mailchimp and some like Mailerlite. Both have great free tiers, so I usually let them decide.

It's our favorite. I work with it, the team works with it. We design lead forms, and marketing templates with MailChimp -it's an amazing tool to try.

Pros

MailChimp offers an extensive range of comprehensive marketing features that help our marketing team create social media marketing templates, lead generation forms, and email templates and it's easy to track sales performance and campaigns as well.It is easy to set up and integrate with WordPress and is also simple.Advanced features like automation & segmentation help us to seamlessly manage our contact lists as wellas we get to set automated email sequences based on specific triggers like new quote requests, and new leads obtained through direct signup forms, and newsletters.It's time-saving because we do the hard work once.

Cons

While Mailchimp performs incredibly well there are a few things I would like to see being adjusted.- The quality of design templates that MailChimp offers is very limited. For instance, advanced customization requires coding skills, and even though I face no problems with these, however, those who are not code-savvy won't find it easy to achieve certain designs.- Advanced segmentation & automation are only available in the expensive plans.- MailChimp doesn't offer new users the ability to test its pro features. With this, it will be difficult for a new user to predict whether or not it's the right tool for their needs.If some of these factors are taken into consideration, I firmly believe that MailChimp will be a better tool.

i love this tool, it has helped me make money, it has saved me time, it has made my life easy and fast. it is affordable for me and above all,it gets the job done. so, yeah. this is a go-to software for anyone in marketing.

Pros

First, I love the automation tool literally, I get to automate everything, imagine sending emails for 6 months by working only 8 hours, yes, it is very easy because the drag-and-drop builder makes everything easy for anyone even those without any tech knowledge. you can create so many campaigns, for anyone into email marketing, this is your go too place. the pricing is also just fair and affordable for anyone, you literally get access to high-quality tools for a small amount. Reporting dashboards and analytics are very easy to read for anyone, literally, you are able to see how many people opened your emails, how many clicked on them, and how many unsubscribed, You can send up follow-up emails too with the automation tool and above all. with a small price to pay.

i can't think of any right now. besides, MailChimp is always improving. so, we shall see in the future.

Pros

This is a great CRM because you can easily manage contacts once they are in (search, filter, sort, assign, tag). But what is great about this CRM is the many integrations. You can integrate this platform with many websites and other products to seamlessly run your business with all of your existing tools/resources. Tracking is top tier on Mailchimp which aids with revamping when necessary

Cons

I'm not using Mailchimp to it fullest capabilities, but I would say that the email campaign search feature could be improved by being able to search for campaigns from years past by typing them in, and not just finding them on the calendar. Additionally, if I was able to send a campaign to an email recipient as a one off more easily, that would help

Cons

Mailchimp can be on overkill, because of their sending limits. While they allow for a generous free tier contact list limit, but the sending limit may throttle the campaign performance.
