### "No monkeying around here!"

August 31, 2021

5.0

It's been good, like I say it's easy to set up, it fits my current needs for my business, and it's FREE at the level I'm at. What more could you need if you're a small business owner and operator? I had used mailchimp ages ago with another company I had worked for, however it was even more of a no-brainer with them because they had graphic designers and people doing all of the loading it into the program and making sure it worked estheically, however I"m going it all on my own now... as soon as I am able I'm hiring someone to do the emailing for me (I guess that's why my bosses passed that task fof to me in the first place!). It's a huge task and if someone can sort out the automation (other than the one I'm doing) then all the power to them!

Pros

I like the simple layout of their dashboard. It's straightforward and I don't have to do much rummaging around to find what I'm looking for. (It took me longer in the beginning but it's gotten easier!) Is it still hard for me and take me a lot longer than it would for someone who has a lot more experience in this program? Yes. If I dedicated a day to learning Mailchimp exclusively in order to figure out the features I require for pushing sales could I learn it easily? I've no doubt. I think you're going to get out of the program what you put into it. And right now I've got it working bare bones and that's fine for me.

Cons

I've struggled with the email campaign/automation set up(because this stuff isn't my forté). I've got the basics which is all I need at the moment, when someone signs up for a subbox they receive a thanks email and they know they may receive additional emails as time goes by. There have been no emails spamming them nor have there been any promotional emails because the emails I wanted to set up weren't working despite using a template and syncing it to my canva etc. I'm sure I could watch a tutorial of it, but I odn't have the time at the moment, for now it will do.

Reason for choosing Mailchimp

There was no alternative. I'd worked in this program ONCE before... a looooooong time ago. And I figured it'd be like ridig a bicycle, and I was right. I hopped back on and I was able to pick up on the features quite quickly.

### "Simplest email marketing tool for startups & digital creators"

October 23, 2021

5.0

I'm using Mailchimp for more than 3+ years now and I'm pretty satisfied with it. In fact, I've referred it to my friends as well. While building my own startup, InternStreet - we were using Mailchimp a lot. The idea was to build an engaging audience of students. The marketing automation feature helped us a lot in building email courses. We literally created the free version of all the tech courses in the formal of 5 - 7 days daily emails. This helped us in increasing overall engagement and creating a recall factor of the brand. At the end of the day we had a whopping conversion of more than 35% into paid courses.

Pros

I really liked the overall simplicity of Mailchimp from getting started to building complex marketing automation. I started with the free plan and then converted to paid one for using the Marketing Automation which I liked the most. It also has an amazing collection of templates which definitely helps the beginner in getting started quickly.

Cons

Overall at this price point, I think everything is great but user segmentation can be improved a bit.

Alternatives considered

[Kit](https://www.capterra.com/p/175000/ConvertKit/)[SendGrid](https://www.capterra.com/p/204113/SendGrid/)

Reason for choosing Mailchimp

The price point was very important for me at that point in time. We did explored other tools but the power of marketing automation was available for free for 2k subscribers (Now it's available under the paid plan). We used the multi-step journey and later on upgraded for paid plans.

### "Inuitive and Robust: Mailchimp makes it easy to create campaigns that deliver"

July 30, 2019

5.0

I've used Mailchimp for about 12 years. I've also used Constant Contact and Emma. I liked that Emma gave me a live account rep. I liked that Constant Contact had a trustworthy legacy feel. But Mailchimp feels like home. It's a perfect combination of a boutique platform like Emma + a legacy system like Constant Contact. They have a stellar free-level package (up to 2,000 addresses) that makes them a no-brainer go-to for any small or start-up company.

Pros

Mailchimp has easy and intuitive drag-and-drop campaign building blocks that make it easy to create professional emails and campaign landing pages. It's easy to connect Mailchimp to your online store to embed products, customize campaigns to folks who've opted in to lists or purchased particular products at your online store, and you can automate complete email/landing page chains. What you're able to accomplish with Mailchimp is only limited by your imagination, and the longer you work with it and explore it, the more value it yields. Somehow Mailchimp is able to deliver all this on a chassis that's simple and intuitive. For more sophisticated setups, they have a robust library you can access that's very useful. Perhaps the most important thing that I've appreciated about Mailchimp over the 10+ years I have used them is their unwavering dedication to ensuring the health of your list -- and therefore the health of the entire platform. They do a great job of educating marketers about how to ensure your campaigns are successful not just in the short run, but also overall, over many, many mailings and contacts. They keep marketers abiding by good email marketing principles, which means the platform is trusted by inboxes everywhere. Deliverability is very important to me and to my clients. I have more than once schooled my clients, armed with data and principles that Mailchimp taught me (both the easy way and the hard way).

Cons

Any gripe I might have with Mailchimp is the same gripe I would have with any email platform. I would like their email and landing page-building software (or web-building software) to be as intuitive as Squarespace, which is honestly a whole other level of drag-and-drop, so perhaps a pipe dream. Over the years, I also haven't felt like I had a good support option. Their help page goes to the Mailchimp "knowledgebase" of articles, so everything I've ever learned about Mailchimp came from sussing it out myself through trial and error, through searching their Knowledgebase, or with a quick Google search. I do see they have a chat feature, which is great. But honestly in 10+ years I've pretty much had to wing it on this platform and it's still my fave, which says a lot. The only other thing I hope they improve is the automated email chain engine. Honestly, it feels a little glitchy.

Reason for choosing Mailchimp

1\. Mailchimp cares about the health of my list + the ongoing deliverability of my email campaigns. They provide education that's helped me become a smarter email marketer, and I appreciate that. 2. They have a really nice and intuitive design engine right now. I can design a far better landing page in native Mailchimp right now than I can in native Wordpress. And, honestly, I chose Mailchimp because I can create a great-looking campaign without hiring a freelance designer. 3. Mailchimp's platform is much more of a joy to interact with than some of the bigger competitors. Life is short. You shouldn't have to struggle to create a great email.

Switched from

[Constant Contact](https://www.capterra.com/p/31898/Constant-Contact/)

Constant Contact is very robust. For many years it was the platform to go to for many features that Mailchimp now delivers as well, and perhaps even better. Plus, Mailchimp's user interface is much more of a joy to work with. If you've ever been a non-designer (as I am) and had to quickly pull off an attractive and effective email, Mailchimp is your go-to platform. I also can't help but remark that no other platform seems to care about educating their users about good email marketing practices for the health of the individual client's list -- and the health of the platform overall. The fact that Mailchimp cares so much about the deliverability of my email makes me trust them all the more.

### "Comprehensive but a little pricy"

July 27, 2021

4.0

Overall, we weren't displeased with the service. However, for a lot less we moved to a new provider that has given us all of the same capabilities.

Pros

Mailchimp is widely used and very easy to sync with many different services. It has great list management capabilities and is easy for anyone, of any skill level to use.

Cons

We found them to have many of the same features as other services but were more expensive. Customer service was ok but did leave us hanging a couple of times.

### "Many great templates and easy social media marketing. "

September 12, 2021

5.0

It definitely solved my issues of having to have everything done under one umbrella and has saved me a lot of time. I really like how that its convenient and is designed to give access to multiple tools to up the performance of my online business. It's benefited me by saving time and increasing sales by increasing the number of emails I can send to customers to marketing in social media in an effortless way and has opened me up to innovative ideas which makes it more intriguing.

Pros

Since quite some time I've been looking for a software that enabled me to perform all in one function's to ease my e-commerce journey. It's easy to use and has so many distinctive templates and styles that suit my vision on how I want my website to look and function. The colorful backgrounds and the ability to take in orders while managing insights, has been really helpful to boost the performance of my online store. It's been so convenient and stress free to work with Mail Chimp. I really like how interesting I find it to create more content within my e-commerce store, which allows me to stay focused on my goals. I'm in love with how much sales I've been getting over the few months since I've used this platform and it's allowed me to build emails and create social ads. Another great feature in Mailchimp is its amazing email marketing feature which allows sending emails automatically to many existing customers and possible future customers increasing sales and upsells.

Cons

There's not much negative issues that I've had to come across with Mail Chimp. However it's quite frustrating that it doesn't work best with PayPal and word press, since I've been planning to have a subscription and membership site. But overall it's still doing well for me and has allowed me to achieve so much over the less time frame I've been using it.

### "Happy Free Tier User"

October 7, 2021

5.0

As the organiser of a local community chess club, I use Mailchimp for keeping in contact with our members. The free tier on Mailchimp allows up to 2000 subscribers (we have nowhere near that number), guarantees good email delivery rates, allows users to unsubscribe, gives me interesting and useful stats on the number of opens, and gives me and my colleagues access to a shared mailing list that doesn't sit on a single person's computer.

Pros

I've used Mailchimp for several years in a few different contexts. It just works. My email gets delivered every time, and it's easy to set up and where desired to integrate it into existing processes (we haven't done much on that front yet). The plugs for Mailchimp that get included in my email footer small and unintrusive, so don't detract from my emails. The usage allowance on the free tier is pretty generous too.

Cons

On the rare occasion when things go wrong, it can be difficult to get help as a free tier user. I've only had this once, when it was clearly a software issue and not me being daft. Even then, I was able to reach out to Mailchimp staff on social media and they got it sorted for me.

### "A great Email marketing platform to achieve successful Email marketing for Small Businesses."

July 4, 2023

5.0

I think Mailchimp is a great email marketing platform for small businesses and nonprofits. It offers a wide range of features at a reasonable price, and it is easy to use. However, if I have a large business, I may want to consider a more expensive platform with better customer support and email deliverability &I like that Mailchimp offers a free plan for small businesses. This can save me a lot of time and effort, especially if I’m not a designer &I find the automation features in Mailchimp to be very useful. This allows me to set up rules so that emails are sent out automatically based on certain criteria. This can help me to save time and improve the efficiency of my email marketing campaigns &I also like the reporting and analytics tools in Mailchimp. This allows me to track the performance of my emails so that I can see what is working and what is not. This information can help me to improve my future email marketing campaigns.Overall, I think Mailchimp is a great email marketing platform. It offers a wide range of features, it is easy to use, and it is affordable. If I’m looking for an email marketing platform, I would definitely recommend giving Mailchimp a try.

Cons

As I’m a digital marketing specialist with +2 years of experience in email marketing using Mailchimp I like least aboutLimited automation features on the free plan, The free plan only allows me to create basic automation, such as sending a welcome email when someone subscribes to my list. If I want to create more complex automation, I'll need to upgrade to a paid plan &Higher pricing compared to some competitors, Mailchimp's pricing is on the higher-end compared to some other email marketing platforms. If I’m on a tight budget, I may want to consider a different platform &Occasional deliverability issues, Mailchimp has a good reputation for deliverability, but some users have reported occasional issues. If I’m concerned about deliverability, I may want to consider a different platform.Restrictions on certain industries and content types, Mailchimp has some restrictions on certain industries and content types. ### "A really good starter email service"

July 3, 2023

4.0

Overall my experience was positive and I would highly recommend Mailchimp for people just starting an email list!

Pros

Mailchimp is a great service when you are just starting out with an email list. They make sending simple, effective emails easy. I wouldn't have been nearly as consistent with emailing my list if Mailchimp hadn't made the experience easy. Also, the ability to insert GIFs into emails is incredibly easy on this platform.

Cons

I found as my business grew that I needed more features that weren't as intuitive or cost significantly more. Flows were more confusing and it was irritating to have so many updates and changes over the past two+ years. I like that things are being updated, but it felt like there were bugs and I was constantly trying to relearn pieces of Mailchimp.

### "A good email marketing service for Small and Medium sized businesses."

June 13, 2023

3.0

Overall, a fantastic experience, especially useful for small businesses who cannot dedicate a resource towards online marketing/email marketing. Would definitely recommend.

Pros

An absolute delight when it comes to running email campaigns. Simple and straightforward, with a neat user interface, adding contacts, integrating with third party platforms, managing your campaigns and analysing reports is a breeze with Mailchimp. There's enough templated content to run your email campaigns and the option to customize it to your brand's requirements makes it an even more viable option. The website builder is a great tool for anyone looking to build a website and The service is rightly priced, and fits all business needs and budgets. Mailchimp has indeed come a long way.

Cons

Some advanced users may find the email only option a bit too limiting. It is also not possible to tag contacts based on their actions. Organizing contacts is also a little challenging because you cannot sort by last name, first name etc.

### "Mailchimp - no price option for a occasional users."

July 4, 2023

I'm sending 3-4 email campaings a year, and i used Mailchimp for about a year to do that. I migrated to another software in april 2023, when Mailchimp announcet changes in prices regulations and clients limits. I had no price option for my company, so i migrated to other software.

Pros

It has the easiest process of creating emailing campain of all emailing softwares I tried. It is both powerful and so cleverly desinged, that even occasional, beginner user can make sense from all of the data and understand value of his campaign.

Cons

It is rather concentrated on regular bussiness that uses email campaings on a daily basic. I send my campaings 3-4 times a year, before some major events. And for that, Mailchimp has currently no price option. There is no option to turn off/on subscription. And the image/photos in mail design are difficult to edit.

### "Robust feature set, but overly expensive for startups and developers"

August 24, 2020

5.0

Overall, Mailchimp is still one of the best mailing list providers out there. Its broad feature set and ease of use are an amazing help to a new company just getting started. If you're not looking for custom integration or transactional emails, this product is one of the best.

Pros

This is probably the easiest mailing list platform out there. It takes minutes to set up your account and get started sending emails to a list. For developers, the Mailchimp API is a dream. It's incredibly well documented and there are dozens of integrations already built in almost every platform and language to make integration into your software even easier. Contact management is simple with access to things like custom fields in a user's profile. Groups and segments are also easy to manage, though it can be confusing at first since there are multiple ways to segment an audience. There's also an option to do transactional emails through mandrill...but this actually turns out to be an issue when you look at the cost.

Cons

The cost of the product is its main issue. For starters, Mailchimp recently changed its cost structure to include unsubscribed customers as part of the total customers you pay for. That means for a small company with a low customer adoption rate, you either end up spending way more than you want for a small list, or you have to spend way too much time pruning your list constantly to save money. It's a huge waste of time and/or money. The second main issue, and actually the larger issue to me as a developer, is the cost of sending transactional emails. If you want to send your customers a password reset email or a account verification email (both very common in almost all applications) you have to have a paid account AND you have to pay for a chunk of transactional emails. It ends up costing a small company over $30/mth just to send password reset emails through Mailchimp. The cost makes more sense at scale, but this software seems built to get the small guys started. It's really a deal breaker for me.

### "Email marketing solution that can handle all your demands in one go"

March 19, 2022

4.0

Sending emails as part of our company's marketing initiatives is easy thanks to Mailchimp. The customers of each of our clients will be able to access unique deals and information. More clients are drawn to the website as a result of this. Having an email platform that allows us to send emails that are specifically customized to our customer’s needs is a huge asset. People who have no marketing knowledge can use Mailchimp to create high-quality material that looks attractive. When people use templates, they may "drag and drop" information, and distribution lists allow them to select the recipients. In the end, Mailchimp is a terrific solution that does exactly what it is supposed to: send emails.

Pros

Marketing and HR use Mailchimp frequently. They frequently exchange emails to solicit opinions on various initiatives and agendas. Because it doesn't require any coding skills to create campaigns, and because there are enough templates for different types of campaigns, Mailchimp is simple to set up and use. It is possible to track down recipients who have opened and read emails sent by this program. It can also provide you with a record of all correspondence. Online invitations are given to us for training and group session seminars. We'll see if we can make it, and we'll mark it down in our calendar. Mailchimp's ability to provide customized content and automate workflows usually results in more efficient and speedier marketing campaigns.

Cons

When you start uploading photographs to your account, you'll immediately run into a situation where it's difficult to locate the files you need. To keep your images organized, you'll have to spend an awful amount of time removing or reorganizing them. Because there are so many variables in design and formatting, it's easy to overlook something while creating an email or a template. As a result, you may find that your output takes on a distinct appearance.

### "Streamlining Email Marketing with Mailchimp"

February 12, 2023

5.0

Mailchimp is solving the problem of email marketing for businesses by providing a platform for them to easily create and manage email campaigns. With Mailchimp, businesses can create and send emails to their subscribers, manage their mailing lists, track their email performance, and automate their email marketing activities. Mailchimp provides an all-in-one solution for businesses to reach and engage with their audience, which is essential for building strong customer relationships and promoting their brand. The platform helps businesses to save time and effort by automating repetitive tasks, and it provides valuable insights into email marketing performance to help businesses make informed decisions and improve their campaigns over time.

Pros

One of the biggest pros of Mailchimp is its user-friendly interface and intuitive design. The platform is incredibly easy to navigate and use, even for those who are new to email marketing.Another key benefit of Mailchimp is its advanced automation capabilities. The platform allows you to create custom email campaigns based on subscriber behavior, so you can send relevant and targeted messages that are more likely to convert. This is a powerful tool for businesses and organizations looking to build better relationships with their customers and improve the effectiveness of their marketing efforts. In addition to its automation capabilities, Mailchimp also offers a wealth of analytics and reporting tools that can help you measure the success of your email campaigns. With real-time reporting and detailed insights, you can see exactly how your campaigns are performing and make data-driven decisions about future marketing efforts.Overall, Mailchimp is an excellent choice for businesses and organizations looking for a comprehensive and effective email marketing platform. With its user-friendly interface, powerful automation features, and insightful analytics, Mailchimp is well-equipped to help you streamline your email marketing efforts and achieve your marketing goals.

Cons

Mailchimp has some limitations that some users might consider as cons. One of the main complaints is the limited automation capabilities in the free plan. The free plan also has limited integrations with other platforms and a lower email sending limit. Some users also report that the interface can be cluttered and difficult to navigate, especially for more advanced users. Additionally, some users have reported issues with deliverability, with some emails going to spam folders. While Mailchimp is a popular and user-friendly option for many, these limitations might be a drawback for some users who require more advanced features and more control over their email marketing campaigns.

### "Complete email marketing platform for professionals"

August 30, 2022

5.0

Whether you own an e-commerce site, a blog, a nonprofit, or a company, the importance of having a newsletter service that connects with other technologies cannot be over emphasized. Mailchimp is a smart choice in this case. It enables countless integrations with well-known and specialized apps (such as Zapier and WordPress). Opt-in lead capture efforts are crucial, as MailChimp has consistently highlighted. With tools like forms, landing sites, and automated drip campaigns, they make it simple to do so. You may now create customer profiles and give clients a lifelong value thanks to their integrated CRM (Standard plan and upwards).

Pros

1\. There are tools for data segmentation, personalisation, and email automation. 2. A user-friendly platform with drag-and-drop content creation blocks. 3. Several integrations with CRMs are accessible. 4. The editor in Mailchimp is straightforward but incredibly effective. 5. The most recent feature additions from Mailchimp include appointment scheduling software. 6. In essence, all you need to know about clients, geo-tracking, social media integration, and Google Analytics

Cons

1\. The capabilities of the email autoresponder might be substantially enhanced. 2. Contact management can occasionally be tedious.

Reason for choosing Mailchimp

Simple to use interface and Mailchimp had good marketing of it's products.

### "Mailchimp is the easiest and most popular email program for beginners and advanced marketers"

Pros

Mailchimp is very easy to use. I can explain how to use Mailchimp to send out regular weekly and monthly newsletters for businesses to others in an afternoon. It is also very easy to design an email newsletter using the tools in Mailchimp.

Cons

Mailchimp can get expensive when compared to similar programs like Mailerlite and SendinBlue.

### "For start up business, mailchimp is for you! "

If you are a startup business and still trying to navigate yourself and your team what CRM/Email marketing you'll use, then mailchimp is for you. I highly recommend this if you are new to email marketing and don't want to get stress out with so many software to use.

Pros

I love how it's user friendly it is and it's so easy to navigate. I love that you can choose a lot of templates for email campaign too!

Cons

I guess I didn't use all the features so for now, I can't really tell. Probably the customer journey.

### "Go-to Email Campaign Management"

November 13, 2022

5.0

Overall Mailchimp is great to use. They are on the ball with creating new features and adapting to new marketing trends and technology.

Pros

Mailchimp is designed to suit marketers or business managers of all skill level. It is incredibly easy to set up a basic email and send it out to a customer list, but for those with more experience, you can constantly optimise and improve upon your email design, list segmentation, marketing automations and website integrations.

Cons

Whilst you can have multiple audience lists, Mailchimp pushes for users to have one email list and utilise segmentations for customised audiences. The segmentations do work well, though my preference is to have separate customer lists for segmentations used on a regular basis.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Mailchimp

Mailchimp is by far easier to use.

### "Great quality for the investment"

September 20, 2018

4.0

Overall our experience with MailChimp was a good one. I think it is a perfect platform to get going on to build your audiences and find your groove. Just know that you will outgrow this platform and your need for more advanced features will push you to a different service. If you want to use some semi-advanced features of most enterprise ESP's, you will ned to utilize additional middleware to accomplish this. But MailChimp is a great return for the investment.

Pros

MailChimp continues to improve and add enterprise type features that you would normally pay much more for with other ESP's. Features that we get the most out of are the automations, transactional service (Mandrill), and store syncing to pull customer data and purchase behaviors into MailChimp for segmentation and triggers. We have been with MC for years and each year it continues to get better. The custom short codes we can use for personalization are very helpful in creating campaigns that are unique to the individuals that are receiving them.

Cons

While they continue to advance, this ESP is still along way from an enterprise solution. The syncing is great, when is works properly. MailChimp does not actually provide the connection with different shopping carts and instead relies on third-party app developers to provide this. This leads to a bunch of issues trying to get support because each wants to point the finger at the other. Mandrill is a great service for transaction sends, but it was combined with paid MailChimp accounts awhile ago instead of a standalone service. Wish they would have kept it separate because there is much more potential on its own. I don't like that you can not combine template types when creating a new campaign/automation. You have to either select a pre-made template or code your own. I wish it had the ability to do both. While the automations are a must have in today's world, and they are continuing to improve them, there is still a long way to go with these in my opinion to catch up to other ESP's.

### "A Comprehensive Review of Mailchimp: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"

August 16, 2022

5.0

I use Mailchimp for my email marketing and have found it to be a very effective tool. It is easy to use and has a lot of features that allow me to customize my emails to fit my brand. I also like that I can automate my email marketing so that I don't have to spend a lot of time manually sending out emails. However, there are some downsides to using Mailchimp. First, it can be expensive if you have a large list. Second, the deliverability rates are not always great, which means your emails may end up in the spam folder. Overall, I think Mailchimp is a good tool for small businesses that are looking for an easy-to-use email marketing solution. If you want to send lots of emails or need more customization options, then it might not be right for you.

Pros

Mailchimp might be the most well-known email marketing platform on the market, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the best one. Below, we’ll talk about what we like and don’t like about Mailchimp to give you the information you need to make an informed decision about whether this solution is right for your business. We’ll also provide resources to help you compare pricing with other popular email marketing platforms, so you can find the right fit at the right price. Let’s get started! There's a reason why Mailchimp is one of the most popular email marketing platforms out there. Here are some of the things that make it great -It's easy to use. — Mailchimp has an intuitive interface that can be used by anyone — The pricing plans are designed for small businesses (more on this later) — Mailchimp integrates with many other apps like Shopify, WordPress, etc. — There are tons of awesome templates to choose from when designing your campaign or project, which helps you save time — The autoresponder option is great for setting up drip campaigns or projects, so you don't have to spend hours manually sending emails every day/week/month — Their customer service team is always available if you need help, and they're pretty responsive too. They also offer live chat if you want even faster help.

Cons

1\. Mailchimp's user interface could be more intuitive. I often find myself feeling lost and having to search for features that should be easy to find. 2. The automation features are great, but they can be very complex and time-consuming to set up. I would love it if there were some templates or easier ways to get started. 3. Their customer support is inconsistent. I've had some great experiences, but also some not-so-great ones. It would be nice to have more consistent support. 4. Their pricing structure is a bit confusing and changes regularly. I wish it were simpler and more transparent. I think the free account is too limited and will probably lead most people to subscribe before they know what the limitations are. The first plan – Basic – starts at $9/month with a 100 subscriber limit. The second plan – Professional – starts at $19/month with a 1000 subscriber limit. And the third plan – Pro Plus – starts at $29/month with no limit on subscribers.

### "Mailchimp is great - especially if you're just starting out."

September 22, 2023

5.0

I've been recommending Mailchimp for years and still operate a few smaller mailing lists with them.

Pros

Mailchimp is great if you're just getting started with email marketing for many reasons. First, you can have up to 2,000 subscribers with their free version. Also, Mailchimp makes it very easy to build your email, add photo, and more. It will even suggest resizing your image if the one you upload is too large. Overall, it's a great product

Cons

Mailchimp used to have a feature in the free version that allowed you to schedule your emails for sending. Now, that feature is only available in the paid version. Also, in my opinion, the paid version is a bit expensive considering some of the other competitors in the market.

### "Mailchimp - Simple and Cheap"

June 16, 2023

5.0

Easy to use, simple interface and all the functionality you would need. I have never paid for Mailchimp, yet when I has a problem with my account their support was responsive, helpful and friendly and we were able to solve the issue.

Pros

Apart from the fact that it is free (for less than 10,000 emails sent out per month) it is easy to use, makeing sure your newsletter is sent out looking professionally. You can put in your email address with your domain as the sender, you can design emails with a WYSIWYG editor using HTML (Your email will look like a proper document with pictures, paragraphs and colors not like a block of computer text escaped from DOS)

Cons

I wish there were more automated ways to send out an email without the need to login to the website. E.g. using Outlook to design the email and then just send it on to Mailchimp for distribution. My internet is stable today, but it used to be a pain when it wasn't.

### "Amazing and result driven tool for startups to manage email campaigns"

August 29, 2021

4.0

For creating, scheduling and tracking professional email marketing campaigns which I can send to thousands of receivers at once. Email templates are really a faster way to design emails on the go even on mobile app so that I can be able to create and send emails while travelling. I recommend mailchimp to one who do not want to spend money on testing emails for marketing purposes.

Pros

What I like about this tool is easy to use email campaign creator and then smoothly tracking of campaigns on dashboard. Mailchimp have lots of effective templated customized based on your industry interests. I love the way I can send personalized emails to each of my contacts with just using name, surname or salutations. The most prominent feature I figured out recently is location tracking of the person who opened email.

Cons

Even if this software is easy to use and affordable for startups its dashboard UI is not up to mark as sometimes it shows wrong results or errors. It happened with me lots of times. I am also using app of mailchimp but some features are still missing on app that present in desktop version. It will be helpful if they made it available on mobile app.

Gmail is good but it increased my cost. Mailchimp is much cost effective than gmail and even tracking is personalised in mailchimp which is not in gmail.
