What I liked the most about Mailchimp is that I started using the free version as a small non-profit organization, but I ended up using it now in a much larger corporation. The scalability of this tool is awesome, as you can handle much more volumes if needed.

Pros

Well, Mailchimp is one of the easiest marketing tools I know. The interface is really user-friendly, which makes it easy for businesses of all sizes to create and send email campaigns. It's also possible to integrate it with many other products, which makes it a very good asset in your toolset. Not to mention the automation tools, they are very accessible and help you a lot in your daily work since you don't have to worry about a lot of tasks that will be handled automatically.

Cons

I believe that, even if quite sufficient for smaller companies, the quality of the analytics features can still be improved, in terms of accuracy and delivery. The dashboard is not the best for that. Also, it lacks of clarity regarding GDPR, always like a grey zone that is complicated to deal with.

I love that it keeps my work secure, makes owning a business easier when it comes to promoting and keeping my clients up to date.

Pros

I love that I can send all of our clients updates on sales we may be having all at once. When we started our business I used to do it all through text, and for each individual person. As we began to grow it became difficult and a lot to do manually. So we are obsessed with how easy Mail-chimp makes sending out emails .

Cons

The one thing I did dislike was the design space when making the newsletters, I wish I was able to add multiple things on one line versus having to create a separate line each time. Not a huge deal as they always come out looking amazing.

In general terms, it has been very useful for sending digital bulletins of the company, because it allows to raise statistics about the contents that were opened or ignored, which generates the possibility of segmenting the public by topics of interest and to focus and direct a more direct Similarly, with variations in the design as a solid image, it has been possible to send internal emails to the same company, since as I said before, its incopatibility with mail clients as an outlook prevents better visualization.

Pros

To send mass messages to customers and prospects is very useful, since the statistics that emanates after the shipment allows you to verify who received, opened, or ignored your message; with that you can clean up your database, and also determine which public or segments of the public are more interested in your message or by some specific information. The free version has many features that can be used by any company or entrepreneur to massively reach their contacts. In addition the interface for design is quite friendly and intuitive.

Cons

When they block a campaign and prevent it from being sent, because there is a high rebound rate, and they prevent you from sending a specific list, they do not tell you which emails are preventing their sending, but they catalog them all and manually you must clean to verify which one or more of them were blocking the campaign. I also find it uncomfortable to have to create as many campaigns as mailing lists have, since time is lost and the effectiveness of the simultaneous reception of the information. Another negative point is its incompatibility with the outlook mail client that causes the imbalance of the images when they are not compact.

I needed a simple CRM and this fills the very bare minimum.

Pros

It is very easy to use for email marketing (natch) and contact management. We don't need very robust features in our CRM anymore, and this basically fits the bill. As an email platform it's great, especially if you don't want any customization or have special needs.

Cons

There are several places on the website that are very misleading about the feature set. In fact, there have been three different articles I've called support to implement, and none of them are available. Also, it's a subsidiary of Intuit, so you would think it would be a nice integration with Quickbooks Online. It really offers nothing in the way of a helpful integration, and it doesn't offer any way to collect payments or keep track of customers buying patterns.

I was hoping for a simple solution that would also integrate with my Quickbooks Online data and give a full customer picture.

Pros

I liked that there were many template/design options and it's easy to create emails through the drag & drop mechanism. Also, I use the free version of the platform and I found that all my needs get met through this!

Cons

There's somewhat of a steep learning curve - especially if you're trying to make sure your emails look good on mobile - but once you get the hang of it (or have templates that you regularly use) then sending emails is pretty easy

Pros

Mailchimp was leading the way in drag and drop email design user interface, when other alternatives were still clunky and hard to use. This made using Mailchimp a breeze to create beautiful emails and campaigns. They continue to improve the email design editor and have stayed ahead of the competition.

Cons

The flow automations tool wasn't originally as advanced as other competitors, however they have overcome that with all of their recent improvements to the automation capabilities and user interface.

Great experience, highly recommend the software for any size business looking for a simple, good looking, user friendly solution for their e-mail marketing.

Pros

I love how this software is user friendly - even someone with very little to no knowledge of campaign design could setup & execute a nice looking email campaign. It also has features that allow a more advanced user to utilize valuable tools to enhance their campaigns.

Cons

The search feature within the contacts is not always accurate so I always double search when removing a contact. I also do not like the new interface which is currently in beta at all & hope Mailchimp sticks with what they have & axes this beta test or at least gives the option to users to select the interface they prefer if/when they do roll it out completely.

My overall experience with Mailchimp has been great, allowing us to accomplish about 65% of our email automation tasks.

Pros

The great thing about Mailchimp is that have a wonderful freemium option that in comparison to competitor's solutions gives you much more email send-outs as well as monthly subscribers allowed. Mailchimp also has a wide range of integrations, thus making it a suitable program to handle all small business needs.

Cons

As you start to increase your Mailchimp subscription plans it seems to get very pricey very quick in comparison to other solutions, while receiving less feature-packed options to choose from. The only other con is that for advanced email automation, Mailchimp does not seem to have the capacity needed.

I simply could not do my job without Mailchimp. Attractive pricing tiers and existing and constantly-updating API integrations keep us from looking elsewhere for an e-mail marketing solution.

Pros

I'm not, and don't really want to be, a coder. In my opinion, Mailchimp offers the cleanest and most user-friendly solution to a code-free user end e-mail platform. The automation of saving templates, the e-mails themselves, analytics and WooCommerce integration make Mailchimp invaluable and endlessly flexible.

Cons

I do with there was more integration with font sources, ie Google Fonts or the like. I'm sure that's the designer in me talking, but I find myself creating many more graphics and using them as links rather than implementing the built-in buttons or text boxes. The design sections (colors, mobile styles, etc) can seem a bit tedious and forgettable until you notice that something's not quite right when you preview, but overall user-friendliness resolves that problem with time.

MailChimp is a great software for managing mailing list marketing and i would highly recommend for any businesses looking to optimise their mailing marketing with this very simplisitic and intuitive software.

Pros

Mailchimp has a very easy to use interface when mailing list has been imported and can allow for scheduling of emails and customised headers for user names for better engagement. Very intuitive interface and quick to learn for marketing emails. One of the best mailing services I've used. Have more recently started to use for optimising my marketing using their analytics provided. By using Mailchimp to analyse our engagement of emails, we noticed what made members of mailing list more likely to open our emails and increased our engagement significantly using the mailchimp analytics and optimising our emails.

Cons

I have to add new users to the mailing list manually and no option in my version to have mailing list automated or retrieve new users from a form. Could be better used if provided analytics on better performance and gave suggestions on improving user engagement in emails would be better. More analytics could be provided and potential solutions to low engagement would be a big improvement as current analytics are limited for much larger scale marketing campaigns.

Their UI is easy to understand, the way of showing data help to plan further strategies, and checking open rate and click rate is so easy. Mailchimp helps in the automation part also to scheduling and doing segmentation easy

Cons

Mailchimp is little bit expensive if compare with competitor but best for rookies. If we can customise more segment and contacts without upgrading plan it will be a great experience. Shared IPs is the second disadvantage as our mails go in promotion and we have to be cautious for it

My overall experience has been ok. It's easy to use, great for the design aspect of email campaigns with the templates etc. it provides great feedback about the campaigns. I know mailchimp has great features that my organization should use better and that way get a better bang of our money.

Pros

Design capabilities. To be honest, I've been trying to quit the software because we use too many in our organization for doing email campaigns. The user interface for creating templates and overall design is better than other softwares like Bloomerang and our marketing people keep defending to keep mailchimp for that reason. It's easier to use than some in the competition.

Cons

The main weakness I believe is the fact that a lot of the emails go into people's spam folder, which it does not happen with the other database platform we use, Bloomerang. Bloomerang sends the newsletter in chunks (not all at the same time) to avoid that. I don't know if there is something else to it, but the reality is that many people miss our campaigns due to this reason. Also, it's getting more and more expensive, at least for a small grass-root like us

One of the main issues of email service is receiving the bulk of spam emails. MailChimp provides solutions for the issue. It is a marketing automation platform and an email marketing service MailChimp has responsive interfaces which fit the screen size of any device for both commercial and non-commercial users. No matter the device is whether it is a mobile phone, tablet, desktop or a laptop the user interfaces are responsive to each of the device which makes the application easy to use. There are many options provide by the MailChimp in order to provide a better user experience. one such technique is the multi-template option which contains different newsletter designs each with unique personalization.

Cons

Most of the customers complain about poor customer support from the vendor. When a customer makes a complain or raise an issue MailChimp takes a long time to investigate and reach to the user. Also, MailChimp keeps updating the system frequently which annoys the users because of the continuous changes keep happening in the user interfaces. Whenever an update comes the users have to relocate navigation planes in order to find the options previously used. Also, there are certain features which are not allowed in MailChimp. There is certain Unique language which makes the unfamiliar users uncomfortable as the words from those languages are not in the comfort zone of the minds of those users.
