Except for this little difficulty, Mailchimp is a good service. Pros I love to use it for sending promotions emails to my subscribers. It's very easy to use and for few dollars, you can customize branding. Cons I wasn’t very happy when connecting my domain because it was very difficult. Since then I have switched over to MailPoet, which has a robust out of the box set up, and very easy to teach end users. Pros It started off as a great utility for doing email campaigns and collecting your customer base info. Cons As Mailchimp evolved, it turned into a money pit for any type of good functionality. Pros Mailchimp is essentially perfect for amateur or DIY marketers. It has a very basic builder platform and easy to use audience imports and exports. Cons For the advanced email marketing experts, Mailchimp is lacking in the extra features such as automation and customer journey mechanisms that help with anyone working with e-commerce. Cons The reporting section is the platform is not as easy as the general settings. It takes some time to understand how to use it. However customer support is fast and efficient. It was easy to navigate and the flow was easy to use on my laptop and more important, on my cell phone. Cons The product can be a little more expensive than I would like. It is a crowded space and this product seems to be on the high end for cost. It’s increased our repeat purchase rate, including when we target customers by their last purchase or abandoned purchase. The automation allows us to keep our hands free, while remaining in view of the customer. Pros Creating visually impactful campaigns with Mailchimp is a breeze something particularly helpful when we’re announcing new seasonal collections or limited-time promotions. My team can quickly spin up beautiful emails that are on-brand even if they aren’t designers thanks to its drag-and-drop editor. Cons Working with both online and in-store shoppers leaves you with lots of overlapping segments. I don't find myself too comfortable in using it long term and with long lists because I find the UX overwhelming and I don't even fully get to explore all the features. Pros Relatively easy to use, good quality-price compromise, overall a good starting solution but not the best Cons I find the user interface a bit confusing a messy. Pros It's very comprehensive and the free version is the best -- but once you want to use more extensive features then it's a bit expensive. I like the templates and how my emails look. Cons I wish there were a smaller and cheaper entry level price. The lowest price was too much money and value for what I needed, but I couldn't use the free.
