## What is Mailchimp?

Mailchimp is a leading email marketing platform used by over 11 million users worldwide. With a delivery rate of 99% and integration with over 300 tools, Mailchimp provides businesses with easy ways to connect with customers, foster repeat business, and build a lasting brand loyalty. The platform's AI-powered insights and content creation tools can personalize every email and SMS. The user-friendly interface accommodates tech-savvy and non-tech individuals. Clients such as TEDTalks, Shutterstock, Boston Market, and Nikon India have used Mailchimp to drive revenue through email marketing. The company was acquired by Intuit Inc. in 2021, and since then, the platform has introduced more than 100 new features to improve user experience. The company ensures its product descriptions match the Mailchimp site, don't include overly-comparative language, calls-to-action, personally identifiable information, suffices, or HTML tags.

Pros

The graphic design options this tool provides look pretty and are modern. It is easy to view analytics of any newsletters or emails you sent out to subscribers. Additionally, you can also brand your emails by adding your company's logo at the top to make your emails more official.

Cons

It is not easy to initially setup or sign up for an account. I also wish Mailchimp would provide some free tools for those who want to take advantage of their features to send some general emails and marketing campaigns then and there without needing to fully pay for service.

In general, my experience of using MailChimp was a positive one, as it allowed me and my colleagues to target some new customers through email marketing campaigns. I would say that it is a great product, which can be very useful in different fields and areas of work. Therefore, I would recommend it to any person working in Sales and Marketing.

Pros

I had an opportunity to use Mailchimp as a Sales Executive at Hackett & Hackett International Group Limited. In this company, we are tasked with developing email marketing campaigns to target new customers and leads. I can say that it has a lot of benefits, and it would be very helpful for every person working in Sales and Marketing. First of all, it has a lot of advantages, starting with being intuitive and having a good user interface. In addition, there is a wide variety of templates and an easy-to-use email builder and campaign tool. All these things make this program convenient for people of different levels. Even those who have little knowledge of marketing can use it.

Cons

In addition, I would like to note that this program has some disadvantages, including being expensive for some users and having a limited number of features for cheaper plans. Also, the automation of this program can be described as medium, meaning that in some cases, it can be not sufficient. Furthermore, I had some issues while using Mailchimp. Firstly, sometimes emails were placed in the spam folder, meaning that there are some deliverability issues. Secondly, Contact Management can be complicated at times, and there is no intuitiveness. Finally, while there are some good email templates, the design flexibility is limited, meaning that it is hard to create letters with nice design.

We have had a good time using this for marketing and it is nice to have the different categories for separate emails

Pros

Mailchimp is great for marketing emails and getting the word out via email blasts. We use this all the time!

Cons

Sometimes it can be glitchy but overall we really enjoy the platform. It's easy to use and we like it for email blasts.

Pros

What I like most about using Mailchimp is its drag-and-drop editor, which makes it easy to create visually appealing emails and landing pages. It's especially great for beginners.

Cons

What I least like about Mailchimp is that the platform becomes much more complex to navigate once you move beyond basic campaigns and into advanced behavioural targeting.

Overall the few times we have used it for business it has worked well to get the message out that we are trying to get out.

Pros

I like that I can use it with our Go Daddy account to be able to send out promotional emails to our customers.

Cons

Sometimes can be a bit tricky to use and time consuming to play around with. Hate having to put in each email individually.

Pros

I loved the drag and drop editor because it was so quick for me to make newsletters for the email marketing campaigns that I found myself having time left over when I thought I wouldn't

Cons

The way they raise the price the more you have added contacts in your queue and to me it just seems like they didn't know what to do pricing wise and have created a pretty messed up money hungry approach to charge its users

I'm about ready to quite using them, i feel they don't offer as much as other options nowadays, and the cost doesn't justify it.

Pros

It still is a solid platform to reliably create and send out email campaigns to your list of recipients.

Cons

it seems their costs have gone up, and the number of 'free' emails you can send to has gone down. It was great before, but the numbers don't jive any longer.

Reasons for choosing Mailchimp

Mailchimp has a much better pricing structure.

Very mixed. I think there are other tools out there that do the same or better job at a better price and with better customer service. I think it has passed its prime as a product.

Pros

Easy to use and several ways of setting up a newsletter. Integrated with many different platforms. Easy automations.

Cons

Their customer service is horrible. I have been using it with 3 different companies and we never had a decent account manager even though we do pay quite high fees. The worst part is they send me an invitation to a consultancy call. I booked it. They never showed up. No apology, nothing

Reasons for choosing Mailchimp
