“Great customer service!”

ProsWonderful customer service! Every time I've emailed or called, they have been very friendly and helpful. The auto pilot function is great and was definitely made by a therapist who knows what's important! I like the statistics feature.
ConsI wanted to use a credit card processing service that "spoke" with Therapy Appt but Cayan is so expensive. I use Ivy Pay and then have to manually post everything. I wish there was a way to mark on the calendar that someone no-showed or late cancelled- changing the appt to a different color would be helpful- it would also be helpful to add another slot when someone late cancels so I can still mark that the original client cancelled and leave room for another client. I wish you could send additional reminders too. I also wish there was a way to mark how much I as a practice owner pay contractors and have that added into the posting tab and statistics

“A decent EHR option for mental health therapists”

OverallI have really appreciated the responsiveness of the support team. I send in my question/request and hear back, typically that day or within 24hrs, with it answered/completed. Despite the things I get frustrated about with the system, I feel like the people behind this system are doing what they can and like I have a HIPAA team behind me, watching my back.
ProsI've used this for years and appreciate the ease of storage, billing, and reassurance that the note formats keep me HIPAA compliant. It is best suited to an individual provider, although it can scale to small groups of providers.
ConsIt does not integrate well/function well for groups of diverse providers, such as group practices that include prescribers and other medical providers. It is limited in its ability to run useful reports. It suffers from significant glitches (like, reversing a payment you distributed in error reverses ALL of them for the client, not just the one you made the error in. This requires you to redistribute everything, which takes a lot of time, especially if you've seen a client for a long time). The statements it creates for clients are very confusing for them to read and understand. It does not facilitate a paperless office - no ability to exchange/complete all intake forms/questionnaires electronically - can send out but forms must be printed out by the client, filled in and signed by hand, brought in to the appointment (or uploaded by client and emailed back to office), scanned to computer by therapist and then uploaded to client's chart; no ability for electronic signatures, etc. There's a rumor that this bit about the paperless office has been corrected in the new version - fingers crossed!!

“One of the best choices I've ever made for my private practice!”

OverallOverall, using this system has significantly decreased stress in running my practice! It keeps me organized and on track with billing and scheduling and keeping up with notes. I would never try to go back to the old paper and pencil method of private practice again. My clients are also quite pleased with the features they are able to use.
ProsI'm most impressed with the security and support. Once they shut down to keep hackers out - all of my clients' private information was completely safe so I could relax. The personnel providing support for any concerns are very responsive, friendly and helpful. I increasingly feel more like I'm part of an online family of sorts when using this practice management system.
ConsI really wish clients could complete all paperwork directly online rather than having to do any printing. I wish documents could be attached to the email within the system both from and to me. I also wish documents could be faxed, other than just to referral sources.

“Created by a therapist, for therapists”

OverallI have been using it for seven years and love it. It is essentially seemless; and when a rare snafu comes up, TA notifies us immediately, and usually has the issue fixed within a very short period of time. I have never had an interruption in the overall functioning of the software. It's easy to use and flows easily. My clients love the online scheduling and account access, as well as the ability to input their info online before we meet--saves time in session.
ProsAfter hours of research and weeks of free trials, I chose TherapyAppointment.com software because it was created by a therapist, and the customer service was fantastic. The new upgrade is coming and I'm looking forward to continuing my practice with it.
ConsThe current version, before the upcoming update, has a little more typing, less click-and-go, than some of the other EHR software I tried. That wasn't really an issue for me, but it was a minus for a colleague with whom I shared TherapyAppointment.com.

“Revolutionized My Practice ”

OverallTherapy Appointment has changed my professional life- the way I leave daily having fully charted, sent out bills as well as been reminded to respond to things important. It seems amazing to me that the staff at TA answers the phone with any question I've had- even the owner/ developer answers the tech call sometimes and you feel like you are talking to a friend! I know some of the staff's names- they remember me- help solve my problems- even help me relax and see they've got it- it's incredible. Therapy Appointment is user friendly and seems so sophisticated in its reminders it's almost scary accurate - like artificial intelligence. I could not even write all that Therapy Appointment has been a part of revolutionizing my practice- let alone quicker income from efficient submission of claims- I haven't left my building in months with a mistake or misfiled claim- the software is designed to help you submit without one error! I thank you so much Therapy Appointment! Sima, Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland.
ProsAlmost no one forgets or misses their appointments due to very professional non intrusive auto reminders, User friendly, TA error checking for you, reminders for client and therspist( birthday, bills, everything) , ability to send print a receipt in sevinds( it's something I've never had- previous fumbling, searching and after hours find- not here it's at most in 30 seconds!
ConsI'm wishing for the reminder for a client not seen in a month to be personalized by me( not saying to call office) but staff said they are working on it after my call( and they will)- total trust in Therapy Appointment staff!

“Great for small practice or one provider.”

OverallThis system is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. It serves its purpose, but if you are looking for something with bells and whistles, this may not be for you. Want something simple that makes scheduling easy? Then you may have found the perfect system for you.
ProsThe scheduling function is really easy. Integrated credit card processing allows for easy check in and payment, right from the schedule. It is easy to use, and the minimal functionality keeps the system from getting overwhelming. It is completely cloud based for easy access from any device with internet access. I haven't used customer support much, but when I have, the response time was almost immediate and all my questions were answered.
ConsFunctionality is limited. There is no ability to create invoices from the system, so we have to use an external system for billing. It is very manual. If you don't do much external billing, or if you can submit insurance claims completely electronically, or you are completely private pay, this system would be perfect. Another con is that when you add a new patient, that patient must be added under a single provider, not under the practice. If one patient sees multiple providers, that patient will end up with multiple records and multiple accounts. It can get quite confusing for note taking, payments, and data updating. If they change their address, you have to update a bunch of records, not just one!

“Great for Solo or Group Practice”

OverallTherapyAppointment really does help streamline notes and insurance claims/billing. I get to spend more time being productive seeing people, then pushing paperwork!
ProsI've used this since opening my private practice- as a solo practitioner and now we have expanded into 5 therapist group practice. Love the quick response from customer support. I like the various options on how to write a note. Free admin accounts a bonus. The capability for ERA and automatic posting is great.
ConsI don't like that we, as a therapist, cannot make appointments for the other therapists and have to have the admin account to do this. I believe with the new update this will be addressed.

“Office Managing Made Easy!!!”

OverallI have been with T.A. for several years and have no real complaints. Their customer service is friendly and fast and they are always on top of anything that comes up that may disrupt service. I would recommend them to anyone looking to lighten their load of "office" work.
ProsI have been a user of therapy appointment for years!! I am an individual therapist with no employees and this software does almost everything for me at an incredibly reasonable price! I highly recommend it!
ConsThere have been two things that have been difficult - both of which I believe are being taken care of in the upcoming release of 2.0. One is that clients can't reset their passwords without contacting me, and the other is that doing paperwork electronically is not an option.

“UNBELIEVABLE RELIEF OF PRESSURE ON ME AS A THERAPIST ”

OverallCan I just tell you that in 3 years I've never left my building but perhaps 2-3 times without every note being completed, every bill submitted to insurance panels! I had an arguous and ineffective employee for 10 years before I found Therapy Appointment that forgot to bill, forgot to submit, forgot to attend to errors( some we never knew for years- I mean years). It's almost been error free for us since using Therapy Appointment to " shepherd" us to remember- I mean It alerts you to everything- it's unbelievable! If a person feels they can find better, I'd love to see how- it has given me an ability to go home after entering my work, get timely paid( for the 1st time in all those years)- I'm not being theatrical- it's amazing!
ProsAlways a live person helped me trouble shoot- and I mean fast! ease of use Keeps me disciplined Saves me time never a HIPPA problem shields me largely from an easy error Thorough I've never been this organized
ConsI can tell you if people complain and not be understanding of " rough waters" and adjustment errors during software upgrades and apparent hackers- then they have really missed the point of how Therapy Appointment has " knocked it out of the park" 99% of the time! Yes, this rough patch happened a few times but each time they jumped on it with full attention.

“Great for billing”

OverallOverall, I love their support team, billing, and case notes. I love the reports you can run in the program. It is about to be updated, so that improves the look and user capabilities.
ProsI absolutely LOVE the fact that my company can do electronic billing through Therapy Appointment. It automatically updates the client's file, tracks the amount of sessions used, repopulates notes. They also give a discount for multilpe users. It is great!
ConsThe issue with Therapy Appointment is that it does not allow multiple therapists to use multiple rooms and locations. I have 2 group practices where some of my clinicians work out of both locations. We have to use one program for scheduling and then Therapy Appointment for our billing. The new change looks great, but it still can't take care of the larger group practices.

“excellent electronic health care record for therapists.”

OverallI have had a wonderful experience with this product and recommend it, so long as you are willing to learn to use the interface.
ProsThe software is feature rich and reliable. The price is also very competitive for the rich feature set. It has a patient portal, account aging reports (not all products in this class have this feature), electronic billing, progress notes, appointment reminders, and document storage. It has group practice features.
ConsThe interface is very clunky and it is slow to update. The good news is a new version is finally coming by the end of 2018 that will include a modern drag and drop interface.

“Therapy Appointment has made my professional life so much easier!”

ProsI have been using this program for several years now and couldn't be happier. I recommend it to my colleagues regularly. The user interface is simple and a pleasure to use. The monthly flat fee has saved me a bundle in time and money in comparison with hiring a billing person, which I did for many years previous. The customer support, which is not needed very often, is prompt and excellent, whether by phone or by internal message. The continual updates have successfully kept up with the changes in coding with the DSM-V, which is no small feat. As they say themselves - they promise that this program will never be finished. And with continual updates due to professional changes and with improvements and additional functioning they have voluntarily provided, I doubt it will.
ConsNothing. I couldn't recommend it more highly. As I said, I do recommend it to colleagues regularly. There is no financial incentive for me to do so.
Recommendations to other buyersAlthough I mainly use the very easy and efficient billing feature, I also like the "a la carte" features of clients being able to book appointments, appointment reminder and confirmation functions, several session note options, contacting clients through email, HIPPA compliance safeguards, etc. A practitioner or clinic could use it very simply or take advantage of the comprehensive features. Of course, do look at other options, however I recommend this software highly and have had excellent experience with it.

“Therapy Appointment”

ProsTherapy Appointment has the best customer support. It's in the top three of any business I've ever worked with. The software seems intuitive and the new user interface has a great new look. It will be great to be able to sync with existing calendar, such as Google. Love that we will have the ability to reserve playroom through the software.
ConsThere are a few features that we will no longer have, like the side-by-side view for all clinicians.

“Effective and conscientious about security. ”

ProsI like this software because of the security. The billing department has more control over small things. I've worked with it for a couple years and figured out many of the tools. I use the monthly calendar view constantly to present open date/times. The interface isn't going to win any beauty prizes, but it does work very effectively and that is what really matters.
ConsSeparate calendars for each therapist require a lot of clicking back and forth. Patients are sorted by surname only. (Work around; present all old patients and do a control F search)

“#1 EMDR TURN KEY WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED!!!!”

ProsIncredible turn key web based solution for Mental Health providers covering all aspects of EMDR, billing, intake notes, progress notes, reminder calls, documentation, easy online registration, direct billing to insurance comanies, and credit card payment processing. The developer and inventor of this product is a Doctoral Level Psychologist who understands the needs of mental health providers and he is committed to the ongoing development of the product. He and his staff are very responsive to concerns and questions. Absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend without reservation!
ConsI am very very satisfied however the only tiny problem is when there is a problem with the server slowing down. However this company has resolved and worked with this issue. In fact the server slowing down is not a problem and it is very fast currently.
Recommendations to other buyersConsider your needs and think about the other products available. This software is absolutely incredible and the product inventor and developer is a mental health professional who has walked in your shoes. This software is built from the ground up and evolving to meet the needs of mental health professionals. Consider there are other software programs there may be adaptations of other EMDR software just fit to mental health professionals. “A must for therapists!”

OverallI just started my private practice and have had a good experience with using TA. I like that I can email customer support and get a response back within a day.
ProsI have used the Legacy version and the 2.0 version. I like that they are both versatile and you can manage everything in one system, i.e. billing, insurance, notes, referral letters, etc. There have been a few little glitches in the new system but custmer support get right on them and usually provide a fix within one business day.
ConsThere were some things about the legacy software that I didn't prefer but when TA rolled out the new version 2.0 they added those features. For example, in the legacy system you had to have another program or clearinghouse to submit insurance and the new 2.0 TA has their own and you pay on a per claim basis.

“Good program but still missing a few things”

ProsI think the updated TA is great and there are a lot of new great features. I like the ability to do more online forms and the ease of use has increased.
ConsThere are still some limitations. I feel the software is most conducive to seeing individual adults clients. For a counselor who sees children it is not as ideal. There is not a way to list multiple address or phone numbers for different parents if they are divorced for example.

ProsIt is easy to perform all of the functions and it is easy to read/view.
ConsIt would be helpful if there was a way to split billing as well as save more than one credit card on file as we often have more than one party paying for service (e.g. separated parents splitting the cost for child's therapy).

“Our company uses this and I love it.”

ProsIt's super easy to navigate, with internal communication and I can access all of our providers, no matter what state they are in, with just the click of the mouse.
ConsI haven't figured out how to delete an Insurance Co. LOL. I wish a refund, of any amount, was possible to make. If a patient over pays it has to be left as a credit or refund the entire amount.

“Using TA Legacy- excellent software for the money”

OverallWonderful! GREAT customer service! Get back to any issues with have promptly and takes suggestions for future improvements!
ProsThe ease of connecting with a credit card merchant company to process patient payments and have them directly post to the patients account. Having the connection of insurance company payments flow right into the patients account without manual entry, and that it allows for patients to review and make payment online through their account.
ConsUnable to produce a report that is just patient balances (currently it's any balance that shows up on the report, it might be due from insurance or due from the patient. Our workaround is to print the report, work all the accounts and note them on paper, then process statements just to those accounts where a patient owes a balance.)

“Excellent Electronic medical record and billing software”

ProsI like the ease of writing clinical notes, keeping a schedule, and using these to file claims through the system.
ConsIt is a little expensive for the solo practitioner. The cost adds to monthly overhead which solo practitioners must keep low. It's efficiency at filing claims does make it worth it.

“Wishing changes were implemented in increments”

OverallI was easily frustrated by needing to figure out where everything was since it is completely different than the current program. For those of us who have been using the older version for years it's more mentally taxing b/c we have to learn the whole program again. I don't have time for that.
ProsI like how it has more features that other competing programs have. In particular calendar syncing.
ConsHow it vastly different to maneuver from the current program.

OverallIt may not look as pretty as competitors (but an upgrade is in the works), but it is priced for non MD budgets, works consistently effectively and is great value for the time and financial investment required. I love being free of paper.
ProsEasy, cost effective, and clients LOVE the online scheduling, appointment reminders and email bills. It follows work flow so I don't waste time clicking from window to window. Customer service has been quick, responsive and effective every time over the last 5 years.
ConsNo to do list on the margin of all screens, would like a list of important history as a margin in patient prog notes, would like to send/receive/autoscore assessment tools, would like printing of notes to be an easier process.

“Awesome update for an awesome product”

OverallSince signing on with TherapyAppointment I have noticed a significant improvement in my ability to collect on outstanding balances especially those with high deductible insurances, which have increased significantly for me within the past year.
ProsI have always loved this product. I am very excited for the update which I found very user friendly and much more efficient from a business standpoint. I really liked the look of the dashboard.
ConsThe only con I have had is with regard to the limits of the ability to send a fax out of the software. I think it would be helpful if we could send the progress note along with a fax to help with collaboration among medical professionals our patients see.

“It's a pretty good EHR”

ProsEase of use. Having an online schedule is very helpful.
ConsThe inability to have my initial forms online and put in their chart. Also, the inability to send things to my clients via the portal is really inconvenient. If it had the ability to use it for teletherapy would make it perfect.

“I have used this product for years and love it.”

OverallEasiest practice management software that I have found. Their tech support is outstanding and you actually get to deal with people who work at the company and understand the system! All requests over the years have been resolved quickly!
ProsAll in one system for managing your practice. This is by far the easiest and most complete system I have found for scheduling, billing, accounting, and charting.
ConsThere are very few cons to list. Perhaps the only gripe I have (and it has long since been resolved) was some server downtime when they were transitioning to a new server. When everything is integrated into one program downtime is disastrous when you have several providers.

“Expect Outages”

OverallI am in the process of switching over to a different system.
ProsEasy to use, you can make some very basic templates if you want. No significant training needed to get started Low cost
ConsFrequent outages Poor customer service - I asked for a partial credit due to significant outages and was arrogantly told that the electric company does not issue credits, and the most they would do would be to remove the outage time from the last bill when I decided to leave their system. They have promised an update for a while now, and still no ETA. Templates are very basic, you can only make a template with text, no check boxes, etc.

We have continued to test the software changes made in response to the recent service outages. and are convinced that the problem caused by by our new password encryption system using too many resources and crashing the system has been resolved. We also have a compensation policy that you will likely not find from most software companies. Here is our policy: we consider any service outage that lasts for more than one hour to have a significant impact on the utility of our system. For this reason, we consider any day with outages totaling more than 60 minutes to be a "lost day of service" for which compensation is appropriate. We count four such days in the last month; therefore, we will be giving credit for four days of service. This is consistent with the End User License Agreement that you accepted as a precondition for use of our system. We understand that you may rely upon TherapyAppointment as a locus of organization of your practice, and recognize that a system outage can disrupt the operations of your practice. We will continue to strive for consistent service delivery; we believe that the recent problems are resolved.

“Simple product that does a lot”

OverallI have a simple, small practice. I don't take insurance, and I don't have many clients to manage, so I can't speak to how robust it is for that purpose, but for the small amount of practice I need, it's a wonderful value for the price. I get what I need, it's secure, and it's very affordable.
Pros- Ease of scheduling - Versatility of application
Cons- sometimes feels like it was designed by engineers, rather than by designers with user experience in mind. This appears to be changing, however, with the new 2.0 experience.

“Helpful program ”

OverallHaving a "one stop shop" kind of experience has been great. Easy access to electronic files that meet HIPPA standards and privacy, documents can be uploaded, created. Reminders for completing documentation and then being able to send billing to insurance companies with the push of a button.
ProsI like the ease of scheduling. It is great to have the "dashboard" to keep track of who you still need to chart on and when completed charting is ready to submit for billing. It's nice to have that taken care of with the program submitting to insurance companies.
ConsI do not like the difficulty in syncing my schedule to my phone. It can be done, but there are a couple of steps to it, and if you make any changes, you have to re-sync. I would much prefer an automatic sync to my phone .

“brand new therapy office”

OverallWe love the ease of sending claims in and the automatic updates from ERA's. We love the confirmation texts/calls/emails that are part of the monthly fee (not extra like other EHR software.) I enjoy the monthly news/updates and ideas to grow our practice. Overall, very happy to be part of the TA 2.0 family....1 month in and loving it!
ProsEasy to use and navigate. Great training videos and personal training webinars. Quick email responses to any questions I have. Great staff, very knowledgeable and willing to stay with me until the issue is resolved.
ConsClient billing needs to be easier to handle (ie...moving a client payments around or breaking payments into other dates of services) Permissions for office managers need to be broader. As an office manager, I need to be able to do everything a therapists does, except chart access.

“Therapy Appointment is Indispensable”

ProsTherapy Appointment is like having a personal assistant. The program was designed by a therapist for therapists so it has all the features a private practitioner needs with no fluff. It allows me to maintain my schedule, chart, file claims, bill and monitor statistics and income. It sends appointment reminders and even sends birthday greetings. My clients like being able to schedule their own appointments (no more phone tag) and the customer service is amazing. I could not operate a private practice without it.
ConsI have been using Therapy Appointment for almost 3 years with absolutely no complaints.
Recommendations to other buyersTalk to someone who uses it! After reviewing a pile of expensive medical software that had tons of features I would never use, I found the refreshingly simple demo of Therapy Appointment. “TA is excellent and the customer services is bar none!”

OverallI have been using TA since before the 2.0 upgrade and I really enjoy it because it is so easy to use and the upfront pricing (there aren't any extra fees) is helpful and promotes the honesty that we need in our profession. I can't say enough about customer service, IT, and the insurance specialists-they are prompt, and problems or bugs get fixed quickly-plus they are so friendly and enjoyable to talk to while they are helping with the problem or explaining how to do something.
ProsI love the fact that I can submit claims directly from TA and that they do a check to make sure everything is correct BEFORE I send the claim. It's easy to use and the customer service is so prompt, I feel like I have my own assistant! I like that my clients can confirm appointments, schedule online, email me and add attachments in a HIPPA secure environment.
ConsI'd love to be able to upload custom documents that my clients can fill out and sign electronically such as a release of information.

“TherapyAppointment is a great tool for psychologists!”

OverallA great tool for psychologists and therapists for a one stop shop as far as scheduling, note taking, and billing!
ProsI like the ease of use, the reports, customer service help and the ease of electronic billing as well. I love that it shoots out a reminder of the appointment to my clients. They love that too!
ConsI have had complaints from clients that they do not understand the bills. They are sort of confusing and probably gives more data on them that is needed.

“I wish I hadn't ended up using this in the long run.”

OverallHonestly, I have sincerely avoided writing bad reviews, because I know the effect it can have on a business, and I am a positive person, trying to hang in there. However, I want to save somebody the headache that I am now dealing with. I would love to find a resolution. I have been holding on to the thought that Therapy Appointment will get better or at least make it right, but I'm a therapist. Out of anyone, I should be realistic and convince myself to lose all of my hard work and move on to another system. I am looking now, so if anybody can contact me with suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
ProsAt first, there is a slight learning curve. Scheduling and billing was nice. sometimes reminder texts didn't go out. they called it a "glitch" and say that it's a service free of charge and the contract states that they're not responsible if something goes wrong with it. needless to say, many of my clients have come to rely on it, so on those days, I have quite a few no shows.
ConsHave to have a separate clearing house, and they still don't have electronic paperwork. The website goes down almost once a week. I can't see my schedule, can't write notes, can't schedule new clients, my clients can't log on. Their solution has been to refund the few dollars from that day. The loss to my business is nowhere equivalent to what they "make-up" in a measly small refund of a few bucks. I have e-mailed and called on multiple occasions about this, but they have all the control and obviously don't care about losing my business.

“Excellent, offers the possibility of administering the mental health practice.”

OverallThe benefits are diverse and stand out: session documentation, Medicare PQRS reports, automatic patient account accounts, the attached EOB report to patient sessions. track the dates and amounts of insurance, check / direct deposit, offers the Patient Portal and among other things, appointment reminders are made.
ProsI like most is that it offers the possibility of managing the mental health practice of an individual or group, this sofware has allowed me to document the session ensuring compliance with HIPAA with structured notes, treatment plan reports and separate psychotherapy notes. Also allows you to mark notes and create custom templates.
ConsI like the least is that you can neglect the responsibility of developing the ability to remember individual or group information because you can retrieve and access with this software, mental health records are not always mechanical, there is qualitative information that can not always be recorded in this software.

“Overall a great product ”

OverallUsing Therapy Appointment has been a breeze.
ProsI really like how user friendly Therapy Appointment is but definitely ready for 2.0 to come out with all the new functions.
ConsIt is so basic and kind of a pain to search people at an administrative level.

“Therapy Appointment 2.0”

ProsTherapy appointment 2.0 makes it very easy to create new patients, enter insurance information, and write notes and treatment plans. I love the ability to set a treatment plan update reminder date. I had been using the legacy software at a group practice, and I think the upgrade to 2.0 adds a lot of new features. It's very user friendly.
ConsI have a new private practice, so using EHR software is fairly new to me. I had some difficulties learning how to use the software. I have to spend more time watching the instructional videos.

“Good value for $$”

OverallOverall, pretty good, however the child/parent account issue is going to make me stay, or eventually leave and use another EHR.
ProsThe low cost when just starting in private practice, plus the free month to try it out. Also, the webinars on Thursdays have been invaluable, as well as the calls from TA to 'check on how I'm doing' have been helpful.
ConsI REALLY need for TA2.0 to distinguish between the client and the 'responsible party' (aka parent). For those of us who work with children, this is critical. Also, setting up client accounts and generating invoices -vs- receipts is not intuitive. I still need help with this!

ProsEase of use - learning the software is extremely easy. Data entry is simple and managing patient database is easy and straightforward.

“Great product”

OverallEven though there are a number of redundant features because we are a self-pay private practice and don't work with insurance, it has certainly made our scheduling process easier and more streamlined
ProsEasy to use and quite intuitive. The training is helpful but we have not needed a lot of customer support - even though it is available - because the software is quite user-friendly
ConsI understand the use of various colors to distinguish availability, payment status, etc, but the choice of colors used are not exactly easy on the eyes

“Great user interface ”

ConsThe only intergtated payment option is Cayan which I'm not jazzed about due to cost and the fact they bill quarterly which makes it harder to reconcile/track. Also no room assignment function is available but I've been told it will be available when the new software update rolls out soon in the spring.

“Great price, lots of good features, limited EMR options”

ProsVery affordable and easy to use. Great ERA electronic billing features. Offers appointment reminders for no additional cost. Very friendly customer support. Great product for the price!
ConsThe EMR is very limited, has an older interface, not mobile friendly.
Recommendations to other buyersTherapy Appointments offers reduced rates for less than full time status, and does not charge extra for additional features. They also offer even further reduced rates for very part time people if you're operating in a group practice.

“Highly recommended!”

ProsThere are numerous features and is very versatile in how you can use it. The appointment reminder, online scheduling and automatic claim filing make the running of my practice seamless and efficient. The tech support is excellent with prompt response time.
ConsI do wish that there was a way to sync the calendar with my Google calendar. HIPAA compliance prevents this.
Recommendations to other buyersI would recommend taking advantage of the trial period to give it a try.
