I thoroughly enjoy using ServiceM8, mainly for the ease of use and convenience of having everything in the one place.

Pros

How easy it is to navigate around the site and use it to enter jobs, keep track of work, send invoices and access all of our previous jobs.

Cons

I don't think there is anything that I don't like about the software.

An organized structure to the information utilized.

Pros

It has an incredibly easy user interface. It is a great piece of programming with a simple layout, that compliments the user experience.

Cons

Like all programs, the other applications you have running, may cause conflict. That cannot be avoided though.

Pros

Being cloud based my team can look as past works on the jobs they are on, they can see up and coming work.

Cons

Purchase Order need to come in.

I would like to see a better process for larger work in progress jobs including dates for when materials were added/used.

They need to give you the option to add additional items, like forms without having to pay over double the month subscription. Also it would be good if you could hide some of the attachments, so only certain users can see.

I looked for three years for this. Has all the features for mobile business. I do 6-8 jobs a day plus 4-6 estimates. This software drives me to the location, makes estimates and invoices easy.

Pros

The map. I like to see where my work is located.

Cons

A few quirks. But so many features they are easy to work around

We're still learning as we have only been using the software for 2 weeks, but so far, its better than the other Job management systems we have tried!

Pros

Customer service it provides for our customers, text messages before arriving at jobs etc., ease of use for team members on the field.

Cons

More information on the little features so they are properly used. A couple of things that don't make sense... eg. Paid invoices not going across to accounting program... Customer info not integrating correctly.

I have reached out to understand the features and struggle to communicate with customer service , I just want to pick up the phone and speak to a human, Servicem8 stop hiding behind email.

Pros

Great features to begin with, reporting features very limited. Unable to report correctly and this will link the expansion of all businesses.

Cons

Missing intervention features and worst of all is the lack of customer support and development forthcoming.

I just started a new mosquito control company in New Jersey, fortunately for me business has been doing great and I was finding it very hard to track and organize all the new and repeat customers on the daily basis. Servicem8 has made my life so much easier.

Pros

The ability to pay as you grow, I was putting off using software in the beginning because they were all very expensive then I came across Servicem8 it only made sense to go with them the product looked strong and the concept was spot on for a new business.

Cons

The only thing that could be better or more efficient would be reducing some of the redundancy of adding clients information.

Pros

Being able to keep track of your workers in the filed and get constant updates on their job status eliminates a lot of unnecessary phone calls. Love the fact it is cloud based. Being able to customize quotes and invoices is great.

Cons

Still not able to create shortcuts, which would save lots of time. Not available for android, which is what has stopped friends of mine from diving into this.

Where do I start?! The software is second to none. It does everything we need it to do from first going out to quote for the customer to the customer accepting the quote, booking the job to then sending over the invoice. It syncs beautifully with Xero and has made the running of our business that much easier. The support staff are excellent! I can't fault them at all. I would 100% recommend ServiceM8 to anyone that is sitting on the fence - you won't regret it!

Pros

It syncs with Xero perfectly. It is simple to use and logical. I love that I can see what happens on the job from it first being a quote to being accepted / declined, booked as a job then being invoiced.

I like it a lot I wish some things could be more customizable. The hour logs are not easy to remember. The tech scoreboards would be nice to have.

I love Service M8, finally I have found a program that can work with my husband. I have tried a couple of programs before choosing Service M8, and the fact that my husband can use this with ease, makes my life easier. It is easy to take pictures and allocate to the job and add any notes or materials to it. Thank you Service M8

Doesn't have anything to deduct CIS from invoices that are paid, also needs to be more tailored and less confusing for Interim invoices, and credits Cannot always type data in the fields - this apparently is something to do with safari. Make it easier to understand using invoices

Pros

ServiceM8 is very reasonably priced and has a good feature list with a nice clean, user-friendly UI.

Cons

With hybrid apps that now rival native apps, I cannot believe there is still no support for Android devices. How is it that almost every other platform can support both? Why would you thumb your nose at literally 50% of the smartphone/tablet market!?
