### "Encrypted card reader"

After considering other vendors, PayConex appears to be the most secure mobile card reader solution. Encryption was a must for us, so that pulled PayConex ahead of competitors to start. The app is easy to use and user friendly. Necessary tool to have to avoid being the next company that had it's customer's security compromised.

Pros

It is encrypted and provides more security than other popular options.

Cons

With a mix of the chip cards and swipe cards, there are some issues with inserting/swiping and it depends on the card provider. Some cards with chips, still require a swipe for some reason, which remains unknown so there is that moment of confusion at times when collecting payment.

Good! I need it. Can’t do without it.

Pros

We use it every single day. Very important. Haven’t had much trouble with it. We need to process in person credit card payment all day long and we are of course concerned about security and we haven’t experienced any issues with this. Glad to have it.

Cons

Never an issue that they couldn’t help with. Always there for support. Just a few flukes that come up with a few transactions and payments but they were resolved

My overall experience with Bluefin is disappointment. I have never been fully satisfied with this program. Lacks many things: ease of use, customer support, value for money, etc...

Pros

What I like most about Bluefin Merchant Services is that it processes our payments pretty seamlessly & quickly.

Cons

What I like least about Bluefin is not just one thing. They have so many hidden fees. Their customer support is seriously lacking. The cost of using the program is always rising. It is somewhat confusing to understand other than simple transferring of payments.

Overall our experience with Merchant Services is wonderful. The software is easy to use and processes payments quickly and efficiently. It saves us so much time which allows us to be more productive in other areas of our business.

Pros

This software is very user friendly, quick and saves us so much time with processing payments.

Cons

Very rarely, but once in awhile when we run a payment for a patient, it will somehow end up on another patient's credit card. It is always resolved quickly, but rather annoying.

That sounds incredibly frustrating and unethical. If they continued to charge you after closing your account and harassed you with excessive calls, you might want to report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and possibly your state’s attorney general. You could also dispute any unauthorized charges with your bank to try to recover the money. They continued to take money out of my checking account after the account was closed over a year ago.
