I don't love the team collaboration aspect that has been baked into the platform, and the project accounting portion feels a bit light. Overall, a good option if you need more PM than anything.

Pros

I really like that you can include P&Ls in your project planning, and the planning portion of the platform itself is relatively straightforward and offers all of the required items a PM and team would expect.

Cons

It feels like the platform is simply trying to do "too much", meaning it falls down on a few different fronts. While it could be an exceptional PM software, it also tries to be an accounting and BI platform. This results in nothing being a perfect fit for your needs.

Pros

I can create templates for projects and groupings of tasks. I also can export just about any information I need to an Excel spreadsheet/CSV file.

Cons

It still feels little bit of a work in progress. It's pretty snappy to respond, so the extra clicks aren't too much of a problem, but it could be smoother.

Was able to work on and complete projects in a timely fashion and have all of our information in one location.

Pros

Mavenlink's flow charts with the ability to personalized are great. The software is very user friendly, and very well designed.

Cons

Mavnelink can be very laggy, and even though it is user friendly on bigger projects with a lot of information it feels bloated.

Cons

The improvements I would like to see with the software is the layout and design in the projects page. This can be very confusing when tracking.

Mavenlink excels in the area of resourcing. It's easy to see your team's availability, request resources, and adjust allocation.

Cons

Custom reports and dashboards are difficult to manage and not at all user friendly.

Pros

the organization set up is really easy and very flexible, we can invite contractors and clients to contribute into the project. Reporting is another great feature, can pull custom reports across projects and programs.

Cons

The solution can be better integrated with other down the road products like subscription management and invoicing. Although we used Mavenlink with Intuit but it was not the best integration.

It allows you to grow your business with the product. I started off small, then as my needs grew, I was able to use more and more must-have features. Plus, their support team is amazing for whenever I have questions.

\* it has a good set of feature to become a powerful PSA solution. \* I really liked the project status reporting. We will get a clear view of project constraints; also PM's can add notes. \* It can integrate with a most of the mainstream 3rd party applications from Accounting, CRM etc.

I have requested assistance on several occasions and they have responded extremely quickly and although there has not been the functionality requested they acknowledge this would be a great feature and have added it to their future development.

Ability to see everything for all projects for all staff in one place

Pros

It seems to do everything one would need and it is very easy to use. very intuitive. it syncs to quickbooks, supposedly, though i was not able to get it set up. the dashboard is nice

Cons

There are a few things I needed to work out and other minor questions. I could not get anyone on the phone to walk me through some simple steps. It takes hours of sorting through you tube videos to possibly see if i can accomplish what I need, or coresponding with someone via chat which was painfully inefficient. It is also fairly pricey for a small 3 user office

We are using Mavenlink to manage our projects that involve multiple teams and stages of development. Many of these projects have over 500 tasks in each! The UI is intuitive and now we can communicate and visualize the lifecycle of each project and track progress. We used to do all this using Google office products and now that we transitioned everything to Mavenlink, we can operate so much more efficiently! Our team is so happy to have made the switch to Mavenlink. The sales and support team have been outstanding. Greg and Alex spent the time to demo the product and answer all our questions. They didn't need to give us a "hard sell" as the product speaks for itself!

Pros

The gantt charts, the UI, the way we can collaborate and see the health of all our projects. The customer support of Greg and Alex was outstanding!

Cons

Only allows for 5 levels of subtasks. Wish there was 8-10.

There's a single interface where you can see every menu, page, and option in one place. Versus having to dig through several pages to find features on other platforms.

Cons

Because everything is accessible from the main dashboard, it leaves the general interface feeling a little cluttered.

Pros

Interface and ease of use. Simple menus and easy to navigate. Very strong resourcing tools. Travel expense is nice and plays well with other tools with integration

Cons

could come out of the box with stronger Material cost tracking for Construction related industries. Does have some hidden features (like approving time) that requires the proper set up to display. Would be nice to be grayed out and a note you need more set up. Would like to import Gantt directly without having to use a complete template set up.
