I manage a team of 8 x Account Executives for a Marketing Firm that deals with multiple people billing work on the same customers. As a manager, I've liked the reporting aspect. I suggest adding a feature voting tool so that people can vote on features they need added the most. I have a lot of suggestions. =) Pros Clean look and feel. Cons It's not as user-friendly as I would like. I wish it was easier to be reminded about tasks. I'm new to the software so there is still a lot that I have left to learn. Review Source JH Jacqui H. Notifications pop up once a task is complete and that prompts the assignments to keep moving on. Pros Templates are stored and easily accessible to use for future projects. The communication tool is very useful to look back on. Mavenlink is a very helpful project managing tracking tool. Cons The design of the app is very minimal. This was perfect for our team who was not familiar at all with tracking/maintaining projects. Templates are easy to set up and use again and again. I can't find anything good about this. Cons It's cumbersome, there are several steps to push a candidate through the process, and it takes forever to enter anything and save it. There are very few project management tools that have this level of integration and sophistication. You can build collaboration tools and review financials profits and losses in one place! Amazing! Cons Some of the more advanced features can be challenging for someone new to the system to use. I was working with a small company and most of the new employees had never used Mavenlink. Their time tracking integration is invaluable to me as I can track the amount of time spent on my tasks and projects and then budget my clients accordingly. Pros Their support team is also super helpful. I find this useful as I don't need to train my team members how to use the tool - new hires just got to reach out to their support team. Overall great not only for time tracking, but also project resourcing, creating timelines and client communication. September 8, 2014 4.0 Hello, I had a problem with the way that my Mavenlink dashboard / account was reporting information (the dates were skewed). I wrote to customer support and learned that the issue was larger than I could foresee on the front end. As the issue was in the process of being resolved, I communicated with one customer support person over the course of 2 months. He checked in with me on a weekly basis to let me know what the status of the fix was, and assured me that it was being worked on. It was just great just knowing that the problem was being fixed. Overall, we've had a great experience with Mavenlink -- and would recommend it as a project management tool. We have used this program with ease and kept all of our projects organized and on time. Pros Customer Service. Ease of use. Cons Projects auto populate at 10 per page. It manages my projects, tracks our time, expenses and reports our metrics. Pros I am able to build our project plans, assign users to their tasks, give them insight into their activities, budgets, timelines. We can track their billable and non-billable time easily now. Expenses are logged and tracked to the projects. In addition the reporting available allows me to see quickly how each project is doing. Cons The expenses needs to be worked out but Mavenlink has bridged that gap until they can enhance that part of the product with reporting. Review Source AC Amy C.
