" December 1, 2012 5.0 We've been using Mavenlink since was introduced to the Intuit Appcenter. Creatung tasks & milestones is essential for the projects work on. The seamless integration with QuickBooks makes it easy to bill time when we reach those milestones or complete tasks/deliverables. Google docs integration is also fabulous! It's super easy to find relevant information without having to refer to my very large collection of emails. Additionally, we can track resources, calculate margins and measure the time spent on each task! Huge when planning! Cons Nothing I can think of that I really am not happy with. Time-tracking and task management features are strong. Cons Initial appearances indicate a high degree of customizability, but the design is fairly restrictive on the whole. Creating custom reporting is very complicated and not intuitive. Mavenlink support's responsiveness to feature requests is not impressive. Review Source JH Jo H. I like the interactive function with QuickBooks and the easy-to-use Gantt charts. The representative who sold me the software was professional, customer-centric, and very helpful. Cons It's a bit confusing as to who you can add to access project worksheets/Gantt charts (i.e., not a subscriber, but an external person who would be viewing the project). We have not joined completely yet as we are still dceiling how many people will be using the software. Cons Nothing yet. All personnel I was in.touch with were helpfull.and knowledgeable. Pros I like the Analytics and Insights tab for high visibility into utilization, resources, and high level budget tracking. Cons It isn't as bidirectional as other platforms are. They were more than happy to supply all security documentation our paranoid IT department demanded. Cons Takes a little time to set up but most comprehensive project management tools do, so this is less a criticism than an insight into my motivation levels for admin tasks... Cons If you have a different way of calculating cost it is tricky to customize it completely to your needs. The Gantt charts are better and more practical than a lot of other ones I've tried. Cons I don't particularly like the way the message threads work or how project communication is organized. I like how you can add tasks for each project and then add assignees, start/end dates, subtasks, and more details to each task. I also think the Gantt charts are great!
