August 30, 2022 4.0 Before using Zoho People for vacation scheduling, our HR department struggled to schedule time off. Since starting to use the tool in the early part of the year, it's been easy to schedule time off. Additionally, the approval process used to take a long time; now it's faster and easier. The system makes it easy to see how many vacation days each team member has left. It also shows which team members are out because of sickness and which have already taken vacation days. Pros Huge features list; no other supplier has as many features for the price. Supplies small and large equipment alike, but can be applied to even larger equipment. No weeks of preparation or long workshops are necessary; you can start using this product immediately. Compared to other suppliers, this is a bargain and has no equal. Cons The vast amount of features in the product makes understanding it very difficult. Additionally, many features of the product are controlled by incorporation, which makes it harder to use. Using this tool eliminates the need for HR to manage vacation requests. The system automates not only the recruitment process, but also new employee onboarding. This is done online immediately after making a contract with another function of the website. First, Job postings are created and integrated into the website. Además de que puedes solicitar tus vacaciones, días de permiso etc muy fácilmente. También puedes ver tus nominas y contratos.Me parece una plataforma muy organizada. Cons Es una herramienta que tiene un abanico abierto de muchas posibilidades, y para sacarle el máximo provecho lo más recomendable es buscar a un profesional que te ayude a utilizarla la herramienta, en este caso lo mas adecuado sería buscar un partner premium de Zoho, que son empresas especializadas en consultoría , implementación y formación. They are very hands-on when there are some errors or even questions regarding the tool. Keep it up! Pros The best thing is that we can track employee records from onboarding to exit. It is easy to use and allows me to access employees personal information whenever needed. Its features like time tracking, custom rules for leaves, and approval settings are excellent. Cons There is a need for automation, currently, there is more manual work. Check-in and check-out reminder feature is missing. Pros Saving A LOT of time for both employees and HR team. Ease of tracking leaves, applying for them and getting approval from the supervisor, tracking work time and, last but not least, payroll documents in one place. Cons The only thing that comes to my mind, is a tiny detail: if You are making regularization for a month (in timetracking), You have to input hours for each day separately. But well, fair enough. Pros This system was fast to set up, easy to navigate and had a lot of functionality for managing HR admin including tax and legal document records. Gave a professional first impression to new recruits for onboarding admin and also linked very easily into our recruitment process via integration with Zoho Recruit. Cons It does not yet contain payroll running functionality for UK users. This is the only big missing puzzle piece for the Zoho software suite and would like to be able to stop using seperate software company for this as all the rest of our accounting is done through Zoho except payroll. I can always discover important notifications like birthdays, Work anniversaries, Good news, updates from the company. Additionally, if I need it, I can always retrieve the personal details of every employee. Being an all-in-one tool is appealing to me. Everything an employer might possibly need is there. Every department has a tool, including IT, HR, accounts, and team management. We use this portal for Performance management. This tool is excellent for resolving cases of IT, HR, Accounts. We use to for off boarding and on boarding the new hires. Cons Nothing has come to my attention that I would find objectionable. In my organisation, it is used to retain records of all employees and to post goals, HR announcements, policies, and other information. It is perfectly fulfilling its intended function. I liked the most hoe intuitive it is to use, no training whatsoever was needed to new employees to get them started using Zoho People. Only the common since everyone who has every used a web application was needed. The latest version also looks great, the user interface had a more than welcome update. Cons In prior versions there were some glitches here and there, but the support team has proved to be excellent as they managed to iron out all those little glitches in the most recent version. I was very surprised later to find out that Zoho is a really big company that has a lot of other tools, which made it even more disappointing that their People tool was not as great as what I had hoped. Pros We only use Zoho to do time off/leave management. It's pretty straightforward for time off/leave management and the basic plan makes it very affordable to just do this one thing. Cons There are so many options to customize things that it was overwhelming and make it hard to set things up. We had wanted to do use it for performance management and timesheets, but we weren't able to set it up in a way that was helpful for us even with the customizations and contacting customer support. Customer support also wasn't as helpful/responsive as I would have hoped.
