I feel like the pieces that I use on a weekly basis are easy to navigate. However, finding more in depth information for some of the employee resources/benefits available to us can be a bit of a project.

I like that BambooHR has the ability to be a one stop shop for employee facing resources and benefits.

Cons

I would like to have the ability to set reminders for things like use of benefits as well as an updated link for the Employee benefits guide.

Generally satisfied - does everything I need it to do. Definitely a bonus to be able to handle multiple tasks in one place as well.

Pros

Such an easy interface to navigate! It's great to be able to quickly log in and see what team members might be out of office in order to effectively navigate workflow throughout the day/week. Also very simple to request and track time off.

Cons

Haven't had a real issues with the software - maybe some different colors in the design would be nice?

Overall, I’ve had a really good experience with BambooHR. It makes the "boring" parts of work, like onboarding and keeping track of paperwork, feel a lot faster and more modern. It’s definitely a premium-priced tool, and it has a few small quirks with payroll and support speed, but for a growing team that wants something that actually looks good and is easy to navigate, it’s a solid choice.

Pros

The best part about BambooHR is definitely how easy it is to use. The interface is super clean, so you don't feel like you’re staring at a boring, old-school database. Navigating through everything—like looking up a coworker's contact info or checking how much time off I have left—is really straightforward. For small business management, it’s a lifesaver because it keeps all the important stuff in one place instead of having a million messy spreadsheets. I also really like the job posting and hiring side of it; it makes the application process feel way more organized, and being able to see exactly where a candidate is in the interview stages helps keep the whole team on the same page without a lot of back-and-forth communication.

Cons

On the flip side, the payroll part can be a bit annoying if you aren't using their specific system, as getting it to talk to other apps sometimes feels a little clunky. Even though the software is great, it’s pretty expensive, so it might not be the best value for money for a tiny startup or a team on a super tight budget. I’ve also noticed that customer support can be a little slow to get back to you during busy times of the year, which can be frustrating if you're stuck on something urgent. Lastly, while it’s perfect for smaller teams, some of the reporting features feel a bit basic, so if a company starts growing really fast, they might eventually outgrow the tools available.

Pros

Easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. Security feature of logging out to keep my personal and confidential details safe after inactivity.

Load time can be lengthy at times but nothing too crazy that makes me have to wait hours on end or even minutes long.

Very easy to track everything in regards to hours, who is in and out and getting the information you need within the company. Great to have all of the company information and benefits all in one place as well.
