The setup was a lot of work, because I was converting all personnel files to images. However, the up-front work was worth it and the day-to-day use of the software is very convenient and easy. Pros I like the fact that our personnel files have gone paperless. All the benefits forms that we use can easily be e-signed and filed. The onboarding and offboarding features have been very helpful. In addition, the benefits management is very convenient for ensuring that payroll deductions are done correctly. Cons My only complaint is that I wish that the time off request feature allowed employees to request time periods off (so, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) rather than hour increments. With the centralized employee database, we could easily store and manage employee information, the simplified onboarding and offboarding process was helpful as well.Time off management became more efficient with features that allow employees to request time off, while performance management tools facilitate goal setting and evaluation. It also provided employee self-service capabilities, enabling individuals to access and update their information and view important documents. Overall, BambooHR helped me save time, improve communication, and enhance team member's experiences. Pros Completing the tax declaration & upload supporting documents is super easy and way too quick. The performance management features is one good tool to set goals, track progress, and conduct regular evaluations. It enables managers and employees to have meaningful conversations about performance, growth, and development. Cons If it had integrations with Govt database such as UIDAI, it would take off lot of items from the checklist. February 14, 2024 5.0 BambooHR has honestly been really user friendly, and I would recommend to other companies. Pros I love how easy BambooHR makes the hiring and onboarding process. You can view each applicant from this site as well as rate whether they could be a good fit for the company. You can also communicate with the applicant straight from BambooHR. BambooHR makes it easy for new employees to complete their paperwork. Cons The only complaint that I have is that when a new employee enters their direct deposit information, BambooHR does not let them know that they have successfully entered their information and that information has been sent for approval and processing. Pros BambooHR provides our organization with the perfect way to organize employees without being cumbersome or outdated. The ability to house our performance management right in our HRMS is one of the main features we love about BambooHR Cons One very minor issue that we have with the system is in settings. Things like choosing how many days before the pay date a timesheet is due. The drop-down choices are rigid and don't fit into how our company operates. I was hesitant, but once we got through the initial set up, which the support team made run smoothly, I was very pleased with the results. It is our main HR tool for our employees, including applying for positions, onboarding/offboarding, vacation and sick time tracking, payroll and benefit details, performance management, goal setting, and a great communication tool. Pros This software has been a great tool in centralizing our employee data, time-off tracking, and payroll details. We use the onboarding/offboarding feature that is extremely helpful when employees are hired or terminate. It is also a great communication tool. Cons Some of the time off policies can be a little complicated to set up, but once it is correct it works as it should. The flatform is my single point of truth, and absolutely integral to my talent acquisition process. I utilise the onboarding features every time I make a hire, which supports a successful transition into the business. I am currently exploring the Performance Management add-on to roll out across the organisation. Cons We moved away from the Time Tracking feature for employee holidays. Pros I love the ease of maintaining our employee benefits within BambooHR. They are able to see what benefits they have and what they and the company pay into them. Also the fact that they carryover to the payroll system (no more double keying things). Cons The least favorite thing I have about the system is the lack to personal some of the Performance Management items. We are very specialized in some things that we do, it doesn't work using BambooHR for it.
