Our company has scaled up quickly and it would have been chaos without Bamboo. The eNPS also enable us to focus on real issues. Cons The ATS is too limited for our requirements. Pros The SUPPORT teams are OUTSTANDING, the ease of use and the variety of functions within the main package. The way the ancillary packages seamlessly integrate with the main package make you feel like it is one package. Cons That I didn't do this earlier. They don't have a shift scheduler. I no longer have to track PTO at all! Salary requests/changes are automatically updated - no more tracking on a spreadsheet. The time tracking has assisted with payroll and the amount of time I spend on Payroll every 2 weeks - I've gotten my weekends back! Pros Love the PTO tracking for employees. Ease of use for the employee when submitting a PTO request, easy for managers to approve or deny, eliminates the needs for spreadsheet or paper forms tracking Cons When adding projects to Time Tracking, it would be great if we could duplicate the set up for jobs if they are the same as others - that would save additional time! Pros Bamboo HR is very easy to use for admin users and for the rest of employees, it is intuitive and simple. It contains a good amount of different features and covers most of the features you would want and it is more affordable than other providers. It was simple to integrate and get the team onboard. It is easy to use and allows me, as an HR department of 1, to keep our team organized. Pros My favorite features are the time off tracking feature and the onboarding. Time tracking was a game changer and onboarding allows us to stay connected to a new hire before their first day and make a great first impression. Cons If you make a mistake with an employee set up (example: created as exempt and then corrected to non-exempt and add to time tracking - during the first week of start date) it takes weeks for the software to correct the pay schedule. In fact, I use a PEO platform that does all the same functions but keep and use BambooHR for all except I-9, Timesheets and Payroll. Pros The ease of use and streamlined, intuitive interface. Time off, ATS and HR all in one platform. Electronic signing and document storage is huge! Cons There is nothing that I don't like. I don't use the timesheet or payroll platforms because I was told there can be only one geo location and only one pay rate. My favourite is being able to set up files and have people electronically sign. it has saved so much time and it keeps me organized. Cons The Canadian element. I'd like to be able to use payroll but it isn't set up for our market. I wish the recruitment features linked to Canadian LinkedIn and Indeed, or other recruitment sites used here in Canada. Cons Some of the templates are fixed and cannot be customized. We have a different organizational model as a consulting firm. Some of our employees report to more than one manager, therefore, would like to have the ability to have additional approvers for vacation and performance reviews.
