I particularly appreciate the ability to create custom reports and the employee self-service capabilities. Pros I cannot list enough cons for this platform. Here are few ones that I liked the most about BambooHRThe interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate.The HR data is centralized, making it simple to manage and track important information.Me as an employee can access and update my own HR data.Last but not least: The mobile app is my ultimate favorite. We added the performance review and it has been very helpful with supporting staff. Pros I love the ease of onboarding new staff. Before we used email attachments and they would have to download, sign and scan to send back. I used Hellosign, however, it was not being utilized enough and we had to still download forms and store them. BambooHR allows us to onboard staff within the system, all documents are completed and stored there. It is also helpful to keep track of employee birthdays versus adding to my calendar. Bamboo sends monthly updates of features implemented and plans for the next 30 days. I find this very helpful. The thing that is most impressive is the amount of money it has saved me in job postings. It posts jobs for free on 9+ platforms for free. Platforms that usually cost money to post jobs. I enjoy hiring someone and their information transferred from recruiting/hiring into the employee part of the system. Cons I would like to be able to customize the menu of items I use the most. One employ who writes their custom reports Cody Conklin is very good, responds timely & accomplishes requests timely & correctly. Cons Don't offer someone to file all payroll reports for numerous states & still charge you exorbitant fees for what little tax work they do. They refer to themselves as 'heroes'. Their webinars are poorly directed, poorly lit & poorly written, no direction for their presenters on what to wear or how to deliver the content. Will just hit you with additional fees with no advance warning. Can't have a dedicated customer service rep so have to explain multiple times when there's a problem. Pros This is a user-friendly software that has all the functionality we need in one place. We can collect signatures, all onboarding and offboarding documents needed. It's easy to organize, share and develop processes without the need for multiple software. Cons Formatting fillable forms is tedious and time consuming. Pros BambooHR is a fantastic tool to use for any HR professional as well as employees. I have great feedback from all who ever creates the access to this software and uses it. It is user friendly and very visual. It keeps things well-organized and simple. Cons It is hard to organize documents in the FILES tab- we cannot create folders inside the folder and there is no file search option. Pros I love how easy it is to use BambooHR, you can customize it to your organization and their support is very quick to respond and resolve your issue. If they cannot, they send you a product enhancement request for hopefully a future update. I was looking for graphical views (e.g. charts and graphs) for leaves. Either it is missing or I could not find it for some reason.2. During the onboarding, my HR manager uploaded my offer letter but I was not able to find it on the portal. Finally, the HR manager had to send it to me through email. Pros I love the functionality of Bamboo. The great thing is the way the support team will do everything in their power to shape it according to our needs.
