With a performance boost and some fresh themes, this would easily be a 5-star app. Pros I like the seeamless UI. The quick view of things on the home screen. Easy time off request access. The filters in the cards in the home screen. Cons The switch of tabs is pretty slow. Under "My info" section it is remembering the last tab opened always. Managing employee documents and having a folder to keep them safe is always a priority Pros Ease of use. The website is so bright and easy to navigate. Keeps all administrative documents, trainings and company networking safe and secure. Cons I haven't run into any cons really. But if I had to nit pick, maybe a "last login" log to keep track of when I used it last. Or maybe they do have it and I'm just not seeing it. It's nice to have everything in one place - before, we had multiple systems. Pros It's very easy to navigate. There are tabs for everything, and most things can be seen from the main screen. Distribution of menus facilitates to find the right option when needed. Quick access shortcuts and mini reports (for pending vacations) are super. Cons Report for consumed days (vacations, sick, PTO) are hard to read when listed in table and make it difficult to validate when listed. It is a solid, all-in-one HR solution that effectively centralizes employee information. Other time-keeping apps I have used can be frustrating to navigate but Bamboo is much easier. Pros Bamboo is easier to use than other time keeping and human resources apps I have used. You make it very easy to update hours and request time off. Cons It can be difficult to find resources in the human resources area. Sat down and went through the program. It's simple to use. Easy to understand. I love it. Pros Ease of use. Some programs are difficult to learn in the beginning. It didn't take much to understand the program. Cons The only thing I disliked in the beginning was that I had a difficult time clocking in when leaving Wifi to data. I found this was a glitch. I had to stop to clock out before I'd leave the building. I couldn't clock out while walking out of the building. I love that I can see the reporting structure. which allows me to see who someone reports to. they make it easy to clock in and out and request time off. even giving everyone in that team a notification that someone in your team will be out for the day, Pros I love bamboohR. it is easy to use. I love how the payroll section allows you to update your payroll information or download it if needed. It is easy to navigate, cleanly designed, and helpful for managing employee information in one centralized place. The platform makes everyday HR tasks more organized, such as requesting PTO or reviewing benefits coverage. Pros I like that BambooHR is easy to use. The interface is simple, clean, and user-friendly. Employee records, documents, job details, and time-off information are all in one place. Requesting and approving PTO is straightforward and convenient. Employees can update personal information and access documents without always needing HR assistance. However most agents do not seem to know the system well or present solutions. Pros Constant improvements, payroll processing seems simple and easy. I also like the survey and recruitment sections of the platform. Cons The state taxes process. There is a lack of follow through with tickets, poas on file get lost and the onus is on the employer to get it, and lastly there is no tracking of tickets with a unique identifier for every request sent to the bamboo tax team. Therefore we get new emails every time with no email trail and end up talking to 5 different people on the same ticket submitted. Also only payroll admins can get updates on tax issues when sometimes there is a separate department within finance who does taxes. We had their basic core before it was recently upgraded. Pros Functional, customization, ease of use for both basic employee user and admins. I've used Workday, bamboo, and now Humi and so far Cons Lots of information on the home page for admin, could be useful depending on the nature of your organization but we didnt use. Our employees are able to find information quickly and training new employees is simple since the system is simple. Cons What I like the least about BambooHR is when you input an employee you cannot add everything at once. You have to save them and then go back into their profile to save documents. I use it for employee information, Birthdays lists, reports about Days off people have taken, a quick place for company links and so much more! Pros I'm a front office secretary at a school and I use bamboo HR all the time! I love the functionality and the easy to use interface. Cons I really like everything about it. I don't have any cons. The only think I would like is if you added a clock in and clock out feature. The other app we use is not user friendly at all and I know if you had it on your website, it would be awesome! April 24, 2026 4.0 I have been using bamboo for a few years and it really is a great platform. Very easy to clock in and out, view timesheets, documents from my employer, and much more! Pros The ease of use, logging in, clocking in and out is super easy! I like being able to see my current hours for the week, past timesheets, documents regarding work, and so much more! Cons I have had very few issues with bambooHR. The PTO system is great and the org chart + events calendar are neat features too. Pros Ease of use, communication, the org chart and events calendars are nice features. Overall, things are easy to find and the website is easy to use. Cons Sometimes the UI bugs out. Some info is hard to find. It would be great to have other PTO types supported. Pros It's easy to read, the page is quite well laid out.I like being able to see which colleagues are on vacation or have a day off Cons The process for editing and adding schedules needs to be changed or made easier; sometimes it freezes, and for example, adding night hours is more tedious for some of us who work at nights. We can track things much more easily. I really like the goals feature where you can make milestones and check them off. It is great fro tracking progess. Pros It has everything I need in one place. It keeps good records of my benefits but also performance reviews and goals. Cons Sometime the feedback views have been a little unwieldy. Pros It has a fairly clear and concise objective, everything is directly accessible and I have no doubts about how the page works. Cons The user interface is too basic; it feels a bit outdated. The Request Time Off section doesn't let me select from multiple categories, which would be great to save requests and clicks.
