The best payroll processing system. I have used ADP and Paycom but this is my favorite. Pros Easy to navigate, easy to use, user friendly, the payroll time sheet is really easy to update. The employee recognition feature is great too! Cons Updating tax information is confusing with this payroll system. I wish it was easier to update tax information. They were patient and so helpful during the set-up and learning phase. they periodically email or call to check-in with me to see if I have questions or need any assistance. Pros I love the customer support! The chat feature is easy to use, and I can get instant help. I also appreciate how user friendly the software is for our employees. It is totally worth the money we pay, which is extremely affordable. Cons I honestly don't have any complaints about BambooHR. I haven't used BambooHR to its fullest potential, but that's on me. The software is very complicated in ways that it shouldn't be. The inability to view time off requests on the same page as the time card made it very difficult to get a good overview of time needs without constantly changing screens. Pros Not much at all. It was not a pleasant experience using Bamboo HR at our company. I will explain further. Cons Time tracking and entering time and tracking vacation/pto was confusing. I mainly use it as an employee for everyday HR specific tasks like requesting time off and making sure my taxes are right. For that it works well. It’s clean, fairly intuitive, and much easier than having HR information spread across multiple apps. There are a few areas where navigation or available information could be improved, but for routine things like PTO, holidays, and employee info, it’s been reliable and easy to use. Pros I like that it's easy to navigate and keeps most of my information in one place. Being able to quickly check things like PTO, sick time, who's scheduled off, and or who's work anniversary or birthday it is without having to hunt through emails or ask someone is a huge plus too. The interface is pretty straightforward, clean, and doesn’t take much time to learn. Cons Certain tabs or areas can feel limited depending on how the company has BambooHR configured. Pros Reporting, I love that once I conduct my regular checks and updates that I can then create reports for my CEO with the information collected over time. We do not upload payroll information except for annual salary I like the reminders about last salary increase. The support team is very responsive when queries are raised and clearly communication is provided. I love the email reminders and updates these help our small team to stay connected and advised of the organizational changes. Cons I cannot say that I have dislikes. I mean this in the best way possible: Writing this review is the most I've ever thought about it -- it just does what it should, and otherwise gets out of your way. Pros From a user perspective, it just works the way that it should. It concisely and intuitively serves up the data necessary for an HR platform, it is easy to navigate, and it is easy to configure what widgets in the dash are hidden or visible to further streamline the experience. Cons I'm struggling a bit, because I generally don't have much negative to say about it. It's not the most lightning-fast, taking a few seconds for internal links to be followed and loaded. I would also appreciate a calendar as a first-class section, but I'm not even sure if that is a Bamboo issue or an issue in the way our organization has it set up.
