Lots of other platforms are already integrated with it. As a people operations manager it does have pretty much everything you need to have. Pros The ability to access HR data virtually is so much better than connecting to my network and trying to search for the information that I need. A key feature we use is the ability to remind employees of various required tasks. Cons As I pondered what I like least about BambooHR, it is difficult to think of a Con. November 15, 2022 5.0 Pros I can view my PTO and track how many hours I will have available on a certain day. I can request time off easily. I can also see members of my organization and which team, they are located in. Cons There isn't much I would suggest improving with this software since I love it so much. And it really helps us centralize where a lot of HR info lives. And being able to set up signature templates for forms and the onboarding/offboarding checklists are fantastic. But it's not the cheapest. Still with it though. Pros It's so great to have a centralized place to organize all this info. Before we were keeping things in hard copy folder, random folders on our server, etc. This is definitely more organized. And I love the signature templates and the way you can set up an onboarding and offboarding process. For a small team like mine, you don't do that stuff very often, and now I can just click the "onboarding" button, instead of spending a few days trying to remember everything I need to do. And OMG, it is a godsend for the hiring process. The way you can collect resumes, review canidates, rate them, leave comments, change their status based on where they are in the process, it's AMAZING. It has saved us HOURS and HOURS of time when hiring. Cons The cost is a little steep. And sometimes that hurts when people seem to keep forgetting that it's there for them to reference. And we pay extra for the reviews, which can be great when you use them, but they take so much time that sometimes we skip them. Review Source LS Lauren S. I am not an HR professional, and have been able to easily understand the features and reasons for using those features throughout the system. Pros The software provided just the right features and functionality for what my organization needed. The implementation and support were very good. Anytime I have called asking for help and immediate solution has been provided upon requesting additional functionality I came to learn it was available and easy to execute and put into place, the pricing is right, and we plan to stay with bamboo for the foreseeable future. Cons I feel one of the add-ons that I requested should be part of the base package rather than an add-on cost. However, this cost was minor and a non-issue. It allowed a lot better communication among our entire company. I recommend BambooHR to any new company that reaches the size where not having a tool is cumbersome. Pros \- Easy tool to conduct reviews. - Great way to communicate goals. - Easily search company hierarchy. - Sumbit HR requests with the click of a button. I like having an go to place with an intuitive layout for all of my HR administration. Also, the Bamboo HR team is incredible, from trouble shooting or developing something specific for our company, my questions are answered in minutes by the kindest team. Cons There are a few recruiting and candidate management features that I would like to be improved, including not having to tie a job posting to a specific location since we are a 100% distributed team. BambooHR is a software to work in the area of public relations, innovative and very intuitive in which you can make vacancy publications and have a report from employees. Cons I can only say that I would like more features to personalize, this is important because it attracts a lot, but in general I have not had any kind of inconvenience and I am very happy to be working with this software.
