Overall, my experience with BambooHR has been positive and efficient. The platform simplifies many HR processes, from onboarding to time-off tracking, making daily tasks easier to manage. Its clean interface reduces the learning curve, allowing teams to adopt it quickly.

Pros

User-friendly interface, smooth onboarding tools, and strong employee self-service features, everything is available for view.

Cons

My overall experience with BambooHR was positive. It’s user-friendly, easy to navigate, and well-suited for small to mid-sized businesses looking to streamline HR processes like employee records, onboarding, PTO tracking, and performance management. Implementation was relatively smooth, and the interface is intuitive for both admins and employees. While it may have some limitations for highly complex or enterprise-level needs, it provides strong value and simplicity for growing organizations.

Pros

Amazing software, no issues whatsoever. Very easy to use especially when i need to log vacation or sick days

Cons

What I liked least about BambooHR was that some advanced features required add-ons or separate modules, which could increase total cost. Reporting customization also felt somewhat limited for more complex needs, and larger organizations might outgrow it as requirements become more sophisticated.

Very positive and helpful for keeping all employee related information in one designated platform and accessing relevant information.

Pros

The accessibility and organization of tabs to access different areas of company information such as employee profiles or the full calendar feature that shows you who is off on vacation ect. all at the same time. This platform is great for payroll information and communication within employees. Another really helpful feature is for employee performance reviews and the ability to re visit past reviews anytime as the highlights are recorded.

Cons

The time it takes to load information from one tab to another. There is a slight lag and sometimes it takes a while for this to update.

I love it. Much easier to report the timings for each pay period. Applying for days off is much easier.

Pros

Easy to use Information needed is accessible with convenience. I can see my time working in the same organization.

Cons

Can't see the time left for different categories i.e. vacation, wellness days, sick days etc. I would be even more happy if I am able to see all these details.

It is good, and I'm sure they will add more features in the coming days. They should add options to store personal company documents at one place so that we can access from every where.

Pros

Tracking Leaves and company employee details whether they are working or who is on off on a given day has become very simple and it also great to verify other job info and perfonal info like tracking birth days.

Cons

I don't see any Cons as of now, but it would be great if they can add calendar support and provide more options to track events and send notifications for the bookmarked events. OR search employees based on experience or technical skills etc

I would describe my overall experience as positive, although there are some obvious missed opportunities. The reliance on an AI Help bot has been frustrating.

Pros

Bamboo has been easy to setup and easy to use, for both management and staff. The onboarding team was great and the experience has been positive.

Cons

My biggest frustration is that my staff cannot see their timesheets in app unless we enable the option to log in/out via app, which is something that we do not want to do. Based on this, our staff cannot see their hours via app. I had to reach out to support to get this explanation because the AI Bot said it should work (but didn't).
