December 8, 2016 4.0 We have found Salsa CRM to be a great choice for our small organization. We have more features than with our previous product and the customer service is fantastic! We have had a few issues with the design of Salsa CRM and some of the features but nothing some tweaking to our procedures won't fix. Pros More value for your money. Being able to raise funds that are often done with ease and with a landing that is connected with our accounts helps us out a lot. Pros The pros that I found to be a great access was the ease to integrate it into our website. It also allowed us to connect our donors directly to a landing where they can donate with ease. Cons The cons was the integration of our contacts to make a donors list and email. Being able to reach each one took uploading our information into the system and then it also used a third party. I also love that I can get in touch with customer support easily and ask even the smallest questions about how to maximize my use of the software. Cons There isn't a way for donors to give donations anonymously. This is important for peer to peer fundraising when larger donors don't want their name displayed on a fundraising page. I really appreciate our coach who has helped us think outside of the box and given us really great ideas to implement. Pros It makes fundraising so easy. Connecting with donors in a meaningful way is made user friendly for both us and our donors. Cons The only con is the YouTube has changed settings. The staff was very patient but pushed us gently to make some progress. The coach is amazing and had great ideas. Pros The software was easy to use and the support was fantastic. We were basically starting from the ground up. Cons For me who is lacking in social media skills I found it difficult to incorporate links. Also designing and importing web page information was difficult for me BUT the support team at Network for Good did assist along the way! The customer service is outstanding! They are always available to provide technical assistance as well as fundraising tips and advice. The Donor Management System is easy to use and the giving pages are great. Suggestions for improvement would include a better event registration option, as well as the improvements to the email blast system; but one of the best things about Network For Good is that they take suggestions seriously and are constantly upgrading the system based on user feedback. Pros Painless conversion for us, good initial training, user friendly and pretty intuitive, word processor inclusion, easy-to-do queries and standard reports, GREAT customer service, regular and helpful product updates, impressive add-on modules for auctions and events, DonorPro has participated in Pittsburgh area users group. Waste of Time. Waste of everything. They are horrible. Their service is horrible. They are misleading and negligent in their information they provide. Cons Customer service is horrible. They promise you if their system does not work with your data you can cancel. They say if you are unhappy with the customer service you can cancel at anytime. They are a pain to deal with. They say "there is no way for you to get out of your contract" despite what they tell you before you sign up. They do not work with the customer. " June 1, 2016 5.0 Pros The ease of use and mobility of the software were the reasons why we chose to transition to Network for Good. After making that decision, we had a great experience migrating our data and with customer support. Cons Our main concern with this transition is that the software is so new - we have had fears of running into quite a few headaches because of this, but overall we have felt that NFG has had a great attitude in accommodating our needs through this process and customizing a system that works. We do wish there was some flexibility in the rules set up by the software (attributing donations to more than one person is our biggest one for this), but overall have been very pleased. They are always knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They set the standard from which others should endeavor to reach. Additionally, DonorPro provides us with the tools necessary to identify and track all activities associated with our constituents, at a price my organization can afford. I especially am pleased that Towercare still cares about smaller non-profits, like Courageous Kidz, and does so much to help us make the most of those hard earned fundraising dollars we receive. The direct deposit option, which is offered at no extra cost is useful in transferring funds. Cons The downsides to using Network for Good, particularly to collect donations from Facebook fundraisers, include anonymous giving details (no contact info for further cultivation), a significant deposit lag time, and platform fees.
