Overall the product is robust and scalable and can handle large volumes of concurrent transactions.2. Continues improvement on the platform Cons (1) In today's data world, Temenos Transact is a bit behind on this and I see many clients struggling to extract basic day-to-day reports.(2) The latest version R22 comes with AA to AC conversion and there is no clear direction and it is confusing for the financial sectors whether to apply this or not. Even though Temenos recommends actually the implementors and Temenos experts don't advise this. (3) Even though the latest version R22 comes with microservice architecture, still financial sectors don't have the confidence to go to this platform. And the knowledge gap is huge. It combines a wide range of features which helps financial institutions to manage their operations in a most secure way . T24's flexibility enables banks to launch new products quickly and efficiently. With the help of T-24 Banks can enhance their acceptability all over the world and in their country as well because most the countries central banks are requiring banking industry to adopt Temenos T-24. Pros Temenos T24 is very effective and reliable core banking system. I am using T24 from last 3 years and i found It very easy to use and super fast system which covers wide range of retail and corporate banking features. The banks can keeps cutomer data in a very secure way and quickly access it whenever requires. We can maintain KYC's (Know Your Customer) of customers very easily and as per the requirements of central bank. The reports can be easily accessable 24/7 with a blink of eye and this feature is very helpful for banks to analyse the data. The cloud acceptabiliy is also another good feature of Temenos T-24. I have use muliple banking software in different banks but i found Temenos T-24 best amongst all of them due to its reliability and control over the transactions. Cons The cost of implementation of Temenos T-24 is very high so because of this small and medium size financial institution finds difficult to switch. February 22, 2024 4.0 Overall, Transact (which I know since it was called Globus and t24) is a mature product and most of the functionality is stable. I know banks which have been running the product for > 25 years and who benefit from periodical upgrades. Implementing the product is a great experience if it is a greenfield project and if the implementation team is selectively hand picked. Many of the world top banks and financial institutions are using temenos due to its reliability as it provides all financial solutions at one platform. Pros Temenos T-24 Transact has all the necessary tools which requires to manage front and back end of banking operations. I am using R-13 version of this software from last 8 years and effeciently managing the branch banking operations. While using Temenos i can provide quick and best services to my customers such as Cash Deposit & Withdrawl Transactions, Bulk Salary Posting, Issuance of Financial Instruments, Locker Operations & Account Opening. The Temenos provides realtime analytics and reports which allows the user to make decision fast. Financial Institutions can stores customer information in a very secure way and quickly access it whenever requires. Cons The Temenos T-24 Transact should have offline mode as when the network is slow it takes time to post transactions. Local development is very easy and we can implement even small checks and balances without getting help from manufacturer. All you need is small inhouse development team. Pros This CBS is very easy to use and the amount of local development (checks and balances) that can be implemented without getting help from manufacturer really helps bank out to keep up with the regulatory requirements. Integration is also very convenient. We have integrated our system with different ADC channels as well as analytics software systems. Cons Overall system performance is good. There are not much technical documentation is available over the internet. In order to learn something new we being developers have to do intensive research over the internet, temenos university and basic PACS site. Reason for choosing Temenos Most of the banks in Pakistan are using Temenos as their core banking platform. Layout is well organised and accessible. The corresponding customer User app is also clean and easy to use. Cons The program has been ill suited to the retail banking features we required. Some reports have been inaccurate, Development has not been seamless and adapting the software to our needs has been problematic. Support does not appear to understand the requirements demanded. COB operation is smooth and easy for reporting extraction like in other CBS admin have to extract reports manually Cons Implementation cost of this CBS is very high. i believe this factor can be put under consideration. Pros Kony Quantum, you may also call it a successor of Temenos UXP ( formerly known as Edge Connect) is a rules based IDE with very less server side coding required. Mostly the application is built through plugging in scripting languages like HTML, JavaScript etc. Since the product is developed by Temenos, the integration with T24 Transaction Core Banking Solution through APIs is extremely convenient. As a results, we launch first version of our banking application which was a huge success even among computer illeterate customer base.
