### "I remain very excited about the product, however it is just too complicated and not easy to use."

June 19, 2018

3.0

Pros

I love the cost and pricing model. I love the features and future possibilities. I love that they are responsive.

Cons

I hate that it is so complex. I hold multiple degrees including a PhD and have difficulty following their guides and tutorials. They make too many assumptions about my technical competency. I really need an out-of-the-box solution and cannot spend hours.

### "The LatitudeLearning LMS is perfect for our needs"

February 13, 2015

5.0

Latitude has made it possible for us to have a viable online learning presence that is high quality, easy to navigate and with a customized portal that allows us to show our own brand. The Latitude LMS made it possible for us to start small and grow through its policy of free use for up to 100 users. This enabled a boutique business such as ours to launch e-learning programs and let them grow to a point where the fees can be more easily absorbed. The technical support and customer service have been exceptionally responsive and competent, which has made it a pleasure to work with this company.

### "The platform comes with plenty of tutorials and has a clean interface."

April 24, 2018

Options to create what I want in a way that my users will benefit from the experience.

Pros

Once you play around with it, you realize the navigation is intuitive. It is customizable to fit the learning styles of the audience.

Cons

There is a short learning curve to learn how to set up content and organize the content in a way that fits the type of training/learning that is being developed.

### "Prefer Old Platform Format"

October 1, 2019

1.0

Disappointed.

Pros

I don't care for the new format at all.

Cons

I don't like anything about the new system. I prefer the previous system that included trainings included. If I had time to develop trainings I would have been using the previous system. The new format should have transferred the old trainings and added the new options to develop trainings. I no longer use this system at all.

Reason for choosing LatitudeLearning

Initially, Latitude offered trainings we needed for our interns.

### "Simple and easy to use! "

April 17, 2018

4.0

Training benefits with an already existing and working software.

Pros

It already has some curated training. Why re-invent the wheel when you have training available. This is awesome for small business owners.

Cons

The interface is a little old-school, however, it does the job, so no biggie. It would be nice if it had a tutorial in terms of how to find things too. But overall, this is a great product.

### "Up to date on the software that is out there."

May 10, 2018

5.0

Pros

Keeps me informed and up to date on what the world is using. I can see what other major companies are using. Helps me find new solutions and solves challenges that I didn't even know I was aware of. Allow me to see opportunities.

Cons

I think it could do better connecting software developers to support channels. Support is always a challenge to find. Maybe have someone that help develops custom solutions based on my companies need from start to finish.

### "Latitude's learning management system serves our needs very well. "

February 18, 2016

3.0

Latitude's solution is perfect for the Dealer industry. The brilliant thing about Latitude is that they have experience with a dealer network distribution channel. One of the main reasons why we made a switch to Latitude was because we are looking to penetrate within the dealerships more broadly. Latitude's system gives us the flexibility we need and has the features that are going to allow us to not only present better, richer training material, but also reach deeper into the dealerships. The system allows us to have control in what we do within our own program.

### "Very Good"

April 21, 2018

4.0

So Much With Good Features

Pros

Lots of resources to learn new stuff (or even the basics). challenging and emotionally rewarding (i.e., in the sense of accomplishing good in the world or solving a difficult problem). Generally financially rewarding Easier than in most fields to find remote and/or flexible work if you want Easy to go freelance if you want New stuff coming along all the time

Cons

Most of my friends grossly misunderstand what you do, and may ask you to fix their printers or hack into the police database to fix a parking ticket Even most recruiters grossly misunderstand.

### "Good group of classes"

June 9, 2017

4.0

Pros

Easy to use for staff. Easy to use for me as the administrator. A lot of classes are available. The fact that I don't pay for it is a bonus.

Cons

I would like to see more classes regarding current issues such as discrimination, sexual issues, medical marijuana usage, etc.

### "Latitude - Best fit for our training needs"

September 1, 2015

5.0

Latitude best met my training needs and my budget. Although Latitude is a bit complex and has a learning curve, that is what makes it so functional and versatile. The complexity behind the scenes allows the screens to be very simple and user friendly. Latitude gave me the exibility I needed. I like that I can customize my log in page and the landing page for learners, keeping it very simple. The initial training was very useful and helped get me up to speed quickly. And, the pricing structure allows me to start slow and grow the program.

### "Great LMS program"

May 10, 2018

5.0

saw how another LMS system works and their presentation style and way of accessing tools.

Pros

immediate feedback on tests and quizzes. Access from around the world 24 hours a day. able to link to any online site or document through it. Grades are easy to see and student progress is also easy to see.

Cons

I didn't create it first and it's not moodle. of course everyone wants something for nothing but if you are an admin with little time to learn and develop Moodle on your own then this LMS would be an acceptable alternative and the tradeoff in cost for convenience is worth it for those not into managing it on their own.

### "Head of Training and Development"

June 19, 2016

4.0

The software is great - it is the customer support that is the weakness. I understand why - we are not yet a paying customer (less than 250 employees) and so probably bottom of your list. Time difference is 10 hours which makes for a slow response time. Much US jargon used that we find difficult to understand and assumptions made about our level of IT/system knowledge so probably not a company you feel you want to spend time supporting l guess.

Pros

It appears to have all the functionality of much more expensive systems

Cons

We do not have a fulltime administrator and so find it difficult to use and not at all intuitive which l guess is due to a lack of usage.

Great value for the features. Good for small companies without an unlimited training budget.

Pros

Easy to use. The tools. And the online interface. All of.this makes transitioning to it from blackboard eaiser and less scary

Cons

Trying to get my university to try it based on the options available. It would be great if a couple of faculty could use it and gather data to convince others to adopt the software university-wide

### "As a freeware option, everything is left to the user in terms of set up. You get what you pay for"

June 27, 2018

3.0

As a freeware option, it was a simple introduction to an LMS before investing in a platform to be used on an Enterprise level.

Pros

Free LMS option and easy to use on a simple level. Access for users is straight forward via the url. Many found it accessible on a mobile device as well.

Cons

Lacks integration functionality with HRMS applications. Difficult to upload files containing audio of video files.

Review Source

Response from Latitude Learning

August 3, 2018

Mike, in addition to using our Forever Free LMS, we also offer a Tools Bootcamp which is 6 hours of one-on-one training. I agree, before investing in an Enterprise Level Learning Platform it is good to explore the product. But please note that one of our strongest features is our myLMS program in which you can completely tailor the LMS to your organization's exact training needs.

### "This site has given me new insights and learnings on several topics"

May 15, 2018

4.0

I had learned from topics on management and dealing with personnel inthe workplace, as well as leadership styles

Pros

The topics are presented in simple understandable manner, hence becoming useful to a broader reader audience

Cons

During the whole time I had been using this software, I do not have a negative feedback to report, maybe just that topics presented are too short at times
