Amazing. Start to finish this product has been fantastic to use and work with. Really no complaints worth even thinking about other products.

Pros

Really designed and developed from a perspective of "If this task just did this too, my life would be easier..." Dynamic packages are a snap for all sources. REST custom integrations are a lifesaver. Customer Support is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. This product makes our jobs 1000x easier.

Cons

Online training videos can be hard to follow. Download for new versions is unnecessarily difficult. Opportunities for additional functionality feels more "stumble on it" than widely socialized. Wish there was a "cool ways customers use the awesome functionality" blog/vlog.

### "Automation at a price that cannot be beat"

Pros

Easy to use tools with a price that cannot be beat. We've used CozyRoc for over 10 years it was an integral piece in migrating from On Premise CRM over to Salesforce. Ivan has always been extremely timely and helpful any time we have questions or need support.

Cons

Not sure I have anything negative to say about the tools provided by CozyRoc. I've tried cloud-based automation tools and it takes 3 sometimes 4 times longer to develop the same solution. Would recommend SSIS with CozyRoc tools any day.

Pros

It makes it very easy to draw data from the in-built APIs and support is very helpful (and fast). Also, there’s a lot of room for customization, which can help bring child columns out of API pulls much more easily.

Cons

Creating a custom API in the connection manager isn’t super intuitive, even with the online guide. Some examples or highlighting what is missing/what is important/etc would be appreciated. Instead, it just wouldn’t pull any data with no or very vague error messages.

I have used this product to accomplish tasks not offered by the stand SSIS tools and if you can work out how to use them they are good. However the documentation is very limited and gives few examples of how to use the features. When I contacted support for help on using some of the more advanced features this is the response I got after struggling to get much help from them: Andrew, I have already provided you enough tips. It is now time to get down and dirty ;)

Overall this has been an amazing tool that we continue to renew our license on every year. Having those extra tools to deploy in our SSIS packages has been amazing!

Pros

It allows someone like me with minimal knowledge/expertise to deploy jobs to handle complex tasks, negating the need for reminders and manual task completion.

Cons

I have not had any negative interactions with the tools. It has been rather easy to learn how to use and has so far meet all of my needs. Especially with scheduling jobs that have SFTP transfer needs.

Bought specifically for the Salesforce connectivity, but also use the advanced email, SSH, Excel and file transfer tasks.

Cons

No real cons to speak of. It was an easy install... only the server needs the yearly updates on license keys, the developer doesn't need to worry about it.

CozyRoc has been one of the most valuable resources in my career when integrating data from disparate systems. I would not be able to provide nearly the Business Intelligence valued insights that I can without it. In short the return on this investment is remarkable.

Pros

CozyRoc truly created an application that is ridiculously easy for any SSIS user to connect to data sources that are not natively supported by SSIS.

Cons

Sometimes creating connections can be a little tricky and may need a little research. However CozyRoc's support is remarkable—They always respond with the quickness with all the right answers!

The tools and support are fantastic! For the few questions or issues we've had they have been very quick to respond with detailed info.

Pros

The multiple data sources and destinations available. All of the added functionality truly making SSIS a data engineer's swiss army knife.

Cons

Nothing really negative to report. The licensing process for the servers is a little out of the ordinary, but easy enough to work through.

The main purpose for evaluating and deciding on CozyRoc was the performance boost we received when loading databases. The installation process was very easy. There were issues when connecting to Oracle, and CozyRoc Customer Service was great in helping resolve our issues. Turns out the issues were on our side regarding the Oracle Client Software. But, CozyRoc Customer Service helped us research our issues and was able to get us going. I cannot say how appreciative we were with Customer Service.

Pros

The various available data sources CozyRoc offered was the major selling point. Along with the data sources, other Control Flow/Data Flow task components were included. Our current major issue with SSIS was the loading of Databases. With CozyRoc's database destination component, our performance increased over 80%. The product was very easy to install and incorporate into our Visual Studio environment. We were up and testing within minutes.

Cons

The one thing we noticed which is a concern is the lack of Azure components. However, we are not sure at this time if Azure Cloud is an option, therefore with the ease of use we decided to go with CozyRoc.

Reason for choosing CozyRoc SSIS+ Components Suite

Performance with loading databases, ease of install, price, additional components and customer service were the main reasons.

Pros

There are many things to love about CozyRoc. I am also using TaskFactory, ZappySys, and I like CozyRoc the most. The SSIS+ Suites have many real useful features. I can see the development team put much thought to components that make it fit to a real life workflow. The support is also very impressive me. I always get very quick responses from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. He's very knowledgeable. More than just answer my questions, he works to understand my real needs and come up with solutions for me. The tools and the support make SSIS+ suite quite useful for us.

Cons

There is a learning curve but not much. I recommend to reaching support team so they can help you successfully implement the solution. Some features are a bit hidden but quite useful such as the File Stream one.

Reason for choosing CozyRoc SSIS+ Components Suite

SSIS+ better fit my workflows, and CozyRoc support is awesome. The pricing model is great too. $799/year for TWO server.

The UI is extremely intuitive for anyone with even minimal SSIS experience. The Dataflow plus task is a great way to design one package which can handle many different similar data flows without all the trouble of BIML

Cons

For some of SQL server / SSDT releases, CozyRoc can sometimes be a few months behind with corresponding supporting libraries.

Pros

Just wanted to mention how great these SSIS+ components are. I’ve been depending on them for years in my production environment. I’ve saved countless hours of bespoke, ad-hoc programming by using the SSIS+ CozyRoc components instead. Thanks for a truly enterprise-class set of tools!

While the components include the usual designers and are pretty straightforward, I'd like to have better documentation.

Cozyroc allowed me to perform tasks I needed to do without needing a programmer. Any ETL designer can now do so much more than with the basic tasks provided by Microsoft. I've been able to automate so many more tedious tasks that were previously performed by human beings.

Pros

It extends SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) by adding tasks Microsoft hasn't, such as PGP encryption, SFTP, etc. It allows me to complete tasks in ETL that I previously relied on a programmer to write. When I've gotten stuck and Google was no help, I just emailed them and they provided great assistance.

Cons

There is not a lot of detailed documentation of errors or specific examples of how to use each task.

I was able to successfully test the most needed features (sharepoint connections and excel export methods) that we needed. The documentation could use a little more in the way of providing more use cases of the product, but the tech support was very patient and helpful. It looks like it could be a win-win for us, and allow us to consolidate and remove some of the other third party tools we use for SSIS and ETL.
