I use Vtiger mainly for recruiting (others in my company use it for sales.) It's easy to enter customers (candidates) and track them based on company name or location. I've had a very positive experience with Vtiger overall and would recommend it. However, if you are looking for something highly analytical, it might not be the best option.

Pros

Vtiger is very straight forward and easy to use. You can chose which features and categories you use the most and prioritize them on your screen based on your needs.

Cons

The reports features could use some work. I've worked with other software systems where it was easier to get a big-picture view of what your database consists of. You can build out different reports based on what you're looking for, but the analytics could be better.

From my experience with vtiger I can say that it has simplified all the critical processes of my company, not only the commercial division that has been the most beneficial but also our support unit that today is more efficient and under control. Our project unit also has better follow-up and control with great reworking capabilities and alerts. The management has truthful information for the decision making and our experience has been so positive, that the other countries, where we have presence, are adopting the platform.

We use vtiger for all back end functionalities of our products and services business. Vtiger helps us achive all of our goals. When we find an issue with vtiger, we simply email the customer service team who really go above and beyond to see that our issues are solves and our needs met.

Pros

Vtiger is very customizable which allows us to adapt all of its features to our specific business model in a relatively simple way. There are so many possibilities to vtiger, that it makes it nearly confusing! This isn't a fault though. We really like vtiger.

Cons

Design seems a little dated, can be confusing at times.

Vtiger has been vital for our business development, since we were able to configure an easy to follow workflow for our agents that acts as a guide for them, from prospecting to end of travel cycle of our customers. Also, having access to all of our customer’s important travel data in a central, secure environment adds a great feature to our business.

Its very easy to use and configurate, and highly customizable, so it was very adaptable to our business

Cons

It should be great if Vtiger could add a Facebook integration. Also, since lot of our customer’s interaction happens via Whatsapp it’s a needed integration.

As to all my engineers fills the data regularly on Vtiger, for me it is very useful that any point of time i have the data from any engineer for his visits, for his jobs that how much attended, how much tickets are open so easier to find out the pending issues. Really useful for improving the business

Software is very user friendly to operate and also has a mobile app through which we can use to fill the activity so on the go also we can fill the data.

Cons

On laptop or desktop, all features are good but when using with Mobile app then all features are not available, some improvement needed on app.

I've been installing Vtiger CRM on Linux servers for the best part of six years. Unfortunately, I recently had to bid a fond goodbye to the technology in favor of the much more powerful breed of SaaS CRM that most companies are now using. Installing Vtiger, whether manually or through Softaculous, is a fairly straightforward process. I used to make extensive use of field customization and developing workflows and they would work fine so long as the Cron job would go off on time. Recently, however, key features have just stopped working for me — across various web hosts. In my most recent instance, I couldn't send manual email, and neither I nor my host could debug the server-side issue. I still think that Vtiger open source has a lot to offer, but for those that need a seamless and advanced solution then this is, in my opinion, not the right tool for the job.

Extremely buggy Community edition support community has grown very small Automation builder is relatively primitive by today's CRM standards

Overall i am very satisfied with the software. Since it can be customized according to our requirements , it will be very helpful to suit our needs. Also since all data is stored in cloud, it can be accessed from anywhere though login or app which is really very helpful

We are a human resources company with 24 years in the market, and use the CRM to manage our commercial business and always have worked. We still need to learn new options to optimize the use, but are extremely happy.

Pros

It is user friendly, fast and very accesible of the price. We have been using the free trial for several years, and decided to upgrade to the payed version and it was a perfect decision. The team helped used with the migration and everything went on tracks, no information lost.

Cons

No cons for us, we have always been very happy with this software.

Cons

That it can't really accommodate an automation process for more than one brand. That you need to employ a 3rd party developer to customise the platform to suit your business needs.

Great CRM... a no brainer implementation for any organization.

Pros

Lots of functionalities, automation of processes via workflows, many modules, fully customizable, the customer support is simply excellent (from live chat on the fly, to one-to-one skype calls with screen sharing and hands-on support)

Cons

the tool allows for the integration of processes for all areas and (best of all) automatization of functions to make all process flow... the issue: number of workflows may be limited and the custom options are not enough.

Pros

Lots of features and options that can allow collaboration between different job functions and business areas. The ability to customize everything is at the same time the best and worst feature of the system.

Cons

User interface is not intuitive. It took forever to get everyone up to speed and even longer for people to really start using the system. We don't use half of the available functions because setting things up is so time consuming, and we don't have a dedicated programmer or IT person to troubleshoot when things are working the way they should. We spent so much money in paid tech support and add-ons that I think we would have been much better off shelling out a little more for a better CRM and having to do less to customize it. If you have too many chron workflows running at the same time it really slows things down.

Pros

vtiger has been great for us because it is more comprehensive than many CRM solutions we have tried or used in the past, allowing us to handle sales, support, billing, and ongoing customer interactions. We have also found it to be very flexible and customizable, eliminating some of the other software services we have used outside the CRM, like project management software. However, the very best thing we have found about vtiger is that they pay close attention to our requests for support and our feedback for product improvement.

Cons

Business reporting is somewhat limited for our needs. Third party solutions exist, but don't work with the cloud hosted version, which we use.

Generally speaking the experience is positive. For us, it's a way to keep track of sales opportunities. We don't rely on it for anything else, but that's only because we have other systems also running internally. Overall Vtiger really helps with keeping on track of potential sales.

Pros

The main reason I use Tiger is for the sales opportunities section. This really is instrumental in us keeping a check of promising leads. I also like the simplicity of attaching an opportunity to an individual contact rather than the company as a whole.

Cons

The general usability isn't great, whilst the dashboard is customisable it doesn't flow and there are sections where text doesn't display properly. My opinion is that it could benefit from a complete refresh in that respect. As a business owner, I often struggle to find simple thing like where copy invoices for the subscription are stored etc.

you can add a lot of things yourself you can do a lot of analysis with all the data and it's easy to use the data we're now currently working with the opportunities in vtiger, which is really nice, but a lot of trial & error is needed everything is centralized in one software

Cons

lots of trial & error needed when trying out new things (takes some time to have everything work well) sometimes the site it too slow, whereas we do not have any problems with other sites

Pros

It used to be a great fit for our business...

Cons

Corporate intelligence determines what they "think" is best for your business without asking. Then when you complain they tell you, you don't know what you are talking about even when you own the company. Their latest blunder is blocking the number of browsers you can use to log in. I run tech support and personally will have 4 computers logged in. They now only allow two and block you from using more, plus stupidly say use mobile device. Their mobile app is terrible for tech support. We are actively moving to another CRM. Really bad company. Don't like them bullying me.

I spent differents weeks before to decide which CRM was the best for my small company. At the end I decided for VTiger because no need an system integrator to adapt it to the company needs (no add costs) and integrate in only one program an CRM (marketing and sales), a support suite, an inventory suite (price book, invoice, payements, etc.) and a projects suite. Last but not least and it make the difference, VTiger have a very good help desk support! Every time that I use the live chat, I'm sure that in one minute you will be attended from an CRM expert that can solve your problem instantly and in a very kind way.

Pros

simple to use and modify, have a good GUI, an Outlook 365 plugin that working properly, no need an system integrator to adapt it, good price role, a very good help desk support and a very low time to start to use

Cons

do not have a Windows Phone App

### "Get a 360 customer overview "

We use vTiger to get the 360 overview and even inject data from our own software. So we know when the users has logged in, how many support cases they have, if the last invoice was paid etc. This is a great help and often you need 3+ pieces of software to do that

Pros

I like that everything is connected and the amount of apps in vTiger. Theres badges with counts on every tab. So i.e. you dont have to click the invoice tab on a company to see if they have an invoice. If theres no badge, no invoice. vTiger had a robust setup management that connected & and calendar and imported previously data with ease.

Cons

There's a lot of info going on, and it can be tricky tocomsume sometimes. There's no real time collaboration. You wont get comments etc while resting on the page.

It has been great! I like that if I have a question, their chat support is very quick. I can add as many information as I need for every opportunity. I like that all new features are great asset to the existing process.

Pros

The chance to make your own modules so it can be 100% adjusted to all of your processes and improving your company's support.

Cons

Sometimes the updates make some features unavaible for a few minutes.
