It's such a reasonable expense as well, with no hidden fees. Their support chat is very responsive, impressively so for our time difference. Pros The software is easy to use and I don't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed with fees. Cons The software did not pick up on including Zoom information in the tickets for an extremely long time. Even though they knew people were using these tickets for virtual events, they did not include the way to access the events for a painfully long time. Exporting information for lead capture is a bit messy. But they do have API's for which we integrate some info to our CRM. Reason for choosing Ticket Tailor The set monthly fee was something we could count on. The only issue was the limited number of events we could have, which caused us to have to work in it more frequently, instead of being able to schedule a monthly recurring event. We have a for profit and non-profit business so the monthly subscription rates are extremely fungible reasonable compared to Eventbrite overall fees. Pros It's easy to learn. User-friendly. We're able to use it as a ticketing system for all of our events. Cons I would like to be able to modify the "buytickets.at/....." URL. Most times are events are free for attendees and vendors need to pay a fee to register. The attendees get confused with Free being associated with a "buytickets.at/....." URL. May 9, 2018 5.0 Ticket Tailor is much easier to use and takes a fraction of the time to set up events and sell tickets than our previous platform. It's also better for user experience too. Pros Low subscription cost (we are a charity so get a 30% discount), easy to use and great support. Great end-user experience too for ticket buyers. Cons You can customize your event page and tickets but the page itself is not as sleek as Universe. However, they have recently updated this and so it's better now. Review Source JP John P. We will use Ticket Tailor again for future events. Pros As a first time user of a ticketing event software platform I really appreciated the logical layout of setting up and the ease of use. Responses from customer service were always prompt and detailed. I like that while there were many other functions we didn't use (Seating charts, group notifications, ect) that we didn't have issues with just using the ticket tracking and sales functionality. Cons I'd like to have had the opportunity to more directly link non-support payment systems (Venmo) with the Offline payment. This allows us to easily manage event tickets even when we're working remotely. Cons The minimum and most affordable package option only allows hosting of 5 active events. June 19, 2019 5.0 Ticket Tailor is a really good product, it makes selling tickets a breeze and is easy to use. I help organizations ( not for profits), when they want to sell tickets , this is my go to software. Been using for about 2 years and it has not failed me yet. Pros Love the fact that there are no fees, unlike Eventbrite. Easy of use, very easy to use and has help if you get confused. I can pause my service , so not paying monthly fees is a great feature. I can have multiple box offices, makes it easy to have different events. They seem to have frequent upgrades and keeps me informed about any changes. When the lockdown happened our business shut down and we couldn't claim any help due to various reasons so started using Ticket Taylor for small online events to put food on the table. May 31, 2019 5.0 Pros I have tried all the major ticketing sites for my film festival and found Ticket Tailor to be head and shoulders above the competition. The site is exceptionally user-friendly and the monthly package - as opposed to hefty commissions charged by rival sites - is advantageous to my business model. The functionality is also great - we can customise the checkout process easily to ask for menu choices, allergies, attendee names etc etc. Our parents love the ease of paying online and we have definitely sold more tickets as a result. It saves our treasurer a huge amount of work as they no longer have to reconcile bank payments and cheques. I also use Zapier to automatically send ticket sales to our Wave accounting system. Their model is based on a monthly subscription, but you can pause it! We are a non-profit theater company, and do not produce theater all year round, so the ability to not only have a discount but also to pause our subscription and maintain all of our data until we need the software later on in the year is spectacular! It captures purchaser data, provides a clean and analytic landing page for ticket purchases that you can easily integrate into your own website, and is intuitive for ticket purchasers. Cons It integrates with stripe and PayPal, and the percentage taken by those two organizations to process payments is our least favorite aspect. We couldn't create seat plans, and only parents could make bookings. So we made the decision to use an external company to handle the bookings for our shows. After a lot of research, we settled on Ticket Tailor. It has completely transformed the booking experience for our parents (as well as wider families and friends), and is so easy to use from our point of view. People can't get over how professional it looks, and we have been able to keep track of ticket sales from Day One. We cannot recommend Ticket Tailor highly enough. Thank you!! Their platform is stable, easy to use and very customisable. They even offer a charity discount on top of their low pricing! We weren't sure about choosing someone other than the brand name for organising events online - let's call them Shiny Events - but TicketTailor have met all our expectations. Cons The only inconvenience we've found is that TicketTailor fees are paid to them via credit card, whereas card transaction fees are debited by their payment provider (Stripe) from the remittance. This has caused our accounts team a few challenges as the bank account we're having the remittance paid into isn't the same as the bank account with a credit card! I’ve tried a few other products out there and it is hands down the best for my small, quickly growing business. Pros I love the simplicity and how easy it is to create an event. It’s also great that it supplies me with the widget code so I can embed the ticketing directly onto the website, allowing all traffic to be driven there.
