In my business (pen shows) have always used the old mail a check for payment. In the old days that worked but with today's postal system it is not timely or efficient. This allows me to easily sell tickets as well as vendor tables and to keep track of everything in one system. On top of that it's very affordable and easy to use.

Pros

Makes everything very inexpensive and user friendly.

Cons

Everything about the system is great. The only "con" for me as an older user in the beginning was I was afraid that without being able to get customer service by phone it might be a problem. I quickly found out it was not, all problems were quickly and professionally handled with the messaging system.

Reason for choosing Ticket Tailor

Less expensive, ease of use and I saw that another show in my industry was using it with success.

### "The BEST Ticket Software out there!"

Pros

We have been using this software for a couple of years now and we appreciate it's ease of use and does absolutely everything we need it to. For us, the best part is the flexibility of using it only when our events happen. We set up events a few times a year and after each event is over we are able to turn it off temporarily and turn it back on when we need it again. You do not have to pay for what you don't use. All our administrators appreciate its ease of use, the ticket users appreciate that it is mobile friendly. We love !

Cons

We have not experienced anything we do not like about this software at this point in time.

### "Easy to use and great value for money"

Pros

We have been using to sell tickets for our events for 3 years. It's super easy to set up events and sell tickets and customer support is always spot on, but the best feature is the price! There is 1 low monthly subscription fee rather than a % fee on tickets which saves us hundreds of pounds per event. Highly recommended!

Cons

The event view for guests could do with some design. Ability to add tickets below the description would also help.

We are so thankful they exist.

Pros

We no longer need to be slaves to Eventbrite’s fees. Eventbrite has now removed the cap on how much they take per ticket. We have been searching for an alternative with no hope in sight for more than a month. We switched to Peatix to realize AFTER we moved everything over that they don’t pay out until the event occurs. With customers buying tickets more than a year in advance for us, this was simply unacceptable for our cash flow. Finally, someone recommended to us, and we have been using it seemlesly for more than a month. We are so thankful they exist, and we hope this review helps more people in our old position to find them.

Cons

They do not (yet) have a waitlist for tickets.

### "Works very well for a small not for profit "

Unhesitatingly recommended!

Pros

We have used for ticketing events at the Pells Pool, Lewes in 2018 and are continuing to use them now in 2019. We have found it a very easy to use and cost effective system. Our ticket charges are relatively low per ticket, so a fixed monthly rate (rather than as a per ticket + % of sales model) works out well for us. Plus the charity discount! The check in app also makes for speedy entry. And we are seasonal - so the fact we can then suspend the account until we start up again is great. And the customer service when we started off was top class.

Cons

Hard to think of what we would improve ...

### "Perfect for our needs"

Subscription that can be paused has been more cost effective than paying a fee per ticket sold, particularly as our audience has grown. It has always made running events easy and efficient.

Pros

In the early stages of setting up a touring opera company, TicketTailor does everything we need it to, quickly and easily. Because we're just starting out, the fact you can pause your subscription made it the cheapest option in the end as we have largeish gaps between events. Also the option not to have a booking fee meant booking online is made more attractive rather than more expensive unlike other ticketing services. Might sound small but this is important when you're trying to encourage people to come and see opera for the first time. Everything else - links, graphics, dashboard, money transfer- works well.

Cons

Only thing is the lack of familiarity our audience has with the brand. Some of our audience, particularly the older members, perhaps feel more comfortable booking through big familiar ticketing services. I occasionally get phone calls asking to book over the phone instead so as not to put card details into the unfamiliar website. But this will come.

Pros

It's easy to use, super cheap, robust & customer service is great. Being able to build and manage our own ticketing pages saves a huge amount of time, means we can absorb the booking fee (and set it reasonably) and receive funds immediately rather than waiting for them to be released.

Cons

Very little as a small event. Perhaps a little more flexibility in design/style for our landing page.

I had an overall amazing experience with I have been with ticket tailor for over 2 years.

Pros

I love how the payment setup was effortless on my end and very simple. I took me about 5 minutes to set up my account for my upcoming event. I also love that ticket tailor do not charge you a fee for setting up and using the service what’s amazing is they have a pay as you go service So they take a very small percentage from every ticket sale. I also love how you can choose to set up your personal PayPal link or stripe, great service

Pros

We used for our medium sized conference. It was great. The site is intuitive, there is nothing superfluous- so I didn't feel like I was paying for add-ons that I was never going to use. Definitely recommend this platform.

I would like to see the ability to set limits to the promotion codes, ie: expiration date, number of redemptions

is easy to use and very helpful when needed. The fees are extremely low compared to other ticketing software. Customer service is extremely helpful as well!

Cons

I haven't had any issues other that my PayPal not being able to function properly, this was an issue on PayPal's end and I switched to Swipe which has been working perfectly with no issues.

I've used it for 2 years and would definitely return. Great support, very reasonable choice, and easy to plug into our web site for ticket sales.

Pros

I like the ease of use in setting it up, along with very responsive help--even though so very far away from us! I also like the ability to suspend payment and use it only during the 2 months we need it for our annual fundraising event. Believe me, if we have more events where we sell tickets, we'll use it more often!

Cons

Would like a couple more options for ticket purchasers to indicate choices (e.g., meals). I've been able to capture the information, but it isn't visible in the report (only in the ticket). Maybe I just haven't figured it out!

Overall, for the price it does the function necessary for a lower price that other platforms. If the platform was a little easier to use and easier for customers to find this would be helpful.

Pros

As a small business owner, I love the low ticket fees and functionality of being able to sell a ticket online. I've used this software for lots of events.

Cons

The ease of use and look of the software is not as nice as their competitors. does not easily allow customers to find tickets without a direct link. Other platforms allow customers to easily find tickets when searching online.

Quick easy method of taking advance Ticket Sales, also refunds acts as an extra promotional tool/URL also great for cross selling events via the box office feature.

Have not found anything yet ;-) Now the broadcast feature has been introduced that has added the missing communication link.

For a non-profit, knowing that we have a fixed expense for the event software is important. It's such a reasonable expense as well, with no hidden fees. Their support chat is very responsive, impressively so for our time difference.

Pros

The software is easy to use and I don't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed with fees.

Cons

The software did not pick up on including Zoom information in the tickets for an extremely long time. Even though they knew people were using these tickets for virtual events, they did not include the way to access the events for a painfully long time. Exporting information for lead capture is a bit messy. But they do have API's for which we integrate some info to our CRM.

Reason for choosing Ticket Tailor

The set monthly fee was something we could count on. The only issue was the limited number of events we could have, which caused us to have to work in it more frequently, instead of being able to schedule a monthly recurring event.

The cost is a major reason why use this platform. We have a for profit and non-profit business so the monthly subscription rates are extremely fungible reasonable compared to Eventbrite overall fees.

Pros

It's easy to learn. User-friendly. We're able to use it as a ticketing system for all of our events.

Cons

I would like to be able to modify the "buytickets.at/....." URL. Most times are events are free for attendees and vendors need to pay a fee to register. The attendees get confused with Free being associated with a "buytickets.at/....." URL.

The best thing for me is the pricing. Once I pay my monthly fee THAT'S IT. Paypal & Stripe take their fees out and send me my money. There is no future payment going back to the service.

Cons

I really have NO cons but the check-in app has been glitching

is much easier to use and takes a fraction of the time to set up events and sell tickets than our previous platform. It's also better for user experience too.

Pros

Low subscription cost (we are a charity so get a 30% discount), easy to use and great support. Great end-user experience too for ticket buyers.

Cons

You can customize your event page and tickets but the page itself is not as sleek as Universe. However, they have recently updated this and so it's better now.

Great experience! We will use again for future events.

Pros

As a first time user of a ticketing event software platform I really appreciated the logical layout of setting up and the ease of use. Responses from customer service were always prompt and detailed. I like that while there were many other functions we didn't use (Seating charts, group notifications, ect) that we didn't have issues with just using the ticket tracking and sales functionality.

Cons

I'd like to have had the opportunity to more directly link non-support payment systems (Venmo) with the Offline payment. Mind you we didn't have any issue having people pay that way but being able to link more payment systems would have been a nice to have

Simple and convenient way to manage event tickets

Pros

I love that have a mobile option. This allows us to easily manage event tickets even when we're working remotely.

Cons

The minimum and most affordable package option only allows hosting of 5 active events. This was a challenge to us during the festive seasons where we had multiple events and we had to upgrade to another package which cost more than our initial budget

Can't separate Australian and New Zealand income, so require separate accounts per region
