January 3, 2018 5.0 Pros The software is easy to use and once you get used to the data entry it was pretty smooth to get things set up. We like the assistance given to us by all ESS people and any questions you have they are more than willing to answer. We had Tredds software in place when we purchased our business but am very please we made the choice to move to ESS. The additional website assistance and maintenance is great. My tenants have raved about the website and the ease of having more payment choices. It was the best decision we have made besides buy the business itself. Cons There is not any cons with the software once you get used to using it. it gets easier to manage every time. It drastically reduced my billing time from our old system. The set up was flawless and when I did speak with someone they helped get me on track. Cons I f at all possible the only point I could complain about is the visual set up. For the unit map when you go through and set up your units it would be nice to be able to add more units by moving a complete one as a whole rather than moving each unit 1 by 1. Never asked a question they did not answer. Pros I love the price! I love the ease of use. I love that they do not loose my information. I was with U-Haul for 15 years then they fixed their program and turned it into crap. This software is better than the only U-Haul. If you have them dump them today and get easy storage solutions. October 4, 2016 5.0 For 18 years, my in-laws have successfully run their mini-storage facility but they've done things the old-fashioned way with paper/pencil/rubber bands/paperclips. A few months ago, they asked my husband and I to take over the management of the facility. After doing the first billing cycle, I said THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY! I found Easy Storage Solutions by doing a Google search and I knew I had the answer. This past month, I finished entering in my tenants information, facility information and completed the first billing cycle. Yay! Yay! Yay! We now have a beautiful, interactive website, help with answering the phone, awesome credit card processing rates and the best customer service imaginable. I am the biggest fan of Easy Storage Solutions!!!! Pros The customer support is very helpful and quickly answers emails and calls. The software is very userfriendly. Cons The first week we encountered a few issues that resulted in a us losing a client. The issues were resolved in a timely manner but the gate software still continues to give us trouble every so often. July 19, 2017 4.0 Overall, I am very pleased with this program and this company. Their customer service was fantastic while I had a million questions during our set up phase and as we were getting used to how the program worked. They even offered to help me with some of the input work when our old database didn't port over all the information. Pros I like how easy it is to use and how useful the site map is (such that you can see at a glance who is late, as well as hover over the unit to see who is renting that unit and their phone number for quick contact).  You can also change the status of the unit right from that page as well. Cons I wish I could a little more adjustability on how the late fees work. We occasionally rent two units as one and it would be nice to be able to make it so only one of the units generates late fees instead of both. Completely changed how my business runs, I would recommend them to anyone operating a self storage facility. If a mistake is made while entering information it is easily fixed. I had an employee come home from College for break and I forgot to mention new software. We tried to make it work for my rv park, but after it was all said and done I was basically running the park by hand. Cons The software required too many work arounds for rv park usage. Owner Used the software for: ### "Wow!!! Saved Time and Reduced Collections" March 7, 2014 5.0 Last year I began a new adventure and purchased a small self storage facility (55 units). The previous owner was retired and his bookkeeping consisted of a "tattered" spiral notebook. Records were incomplete and collections were approaching 25%. My goal was to find tools that would provide: a. An online presence b. Manage contact database c. Offer accounting functions All of this on the budget of a smaller operator. After exploring several options I found Easy Storage Solutions. After signing up for a trial I was contacted by Ken directly. He walked me through the simple set up and explained some of the expanded features...some of which I had not considered possible on my budget, such as credit card processing, customer logins, and gate access. I decided this was the package for me. That was August 2013, and I was off and running. I had a website, 24 hour account access, and online billing for less than I expected to pay for hosting. Thank you Easy Storage....because of you, I spend less time managing the paperwork, 40% off my clients pay online, (No more "checks in the mail") and my collections are down to 2%. July 14, 2018 5.0 Easy to run the business, set up was great with the help of the customer service staff and great tutorial videos. Pros Easy to use and access. We can use our smart phones to rent a unit, process a payment, or see who is in a unit.. So handy. At a quick glance I can immediately see tenants who have paid on time, who is late, or who is locked out. It helps me keep track of what is going on everyday with our and its and revenue. Cons From an administrator point of view, there are very few things I would tweak. There are 4 different locations of units and we have them all set up seperately. I wish when logging in to the system I would not have to log in to each site when I want to view it. Just takes a few seconds to do so it is not a big deal. Review Source RM Rene M. Used the software for: ### "" July 2, 2013 5.0 We built our storage business in 1993. Our system was on paper, and was workable "as is", yet was labor intensive in many ways. We began looking two years ago for a computer program that could help us be more efficient. Easy Storage was the first program we tried. We liked the price, we liked the people, and we especially liked that it could be accessed from anywhere we could get online. We have since fallen in love with this feature as we can access people's accounts from home if there is an emergency call, etc. And of course if we have to take work home, it's a plus there as well. We must also say that customer service is the best we have ever encountered in any business capacity. The fact that we can call, and talk to the same person each time, is great. Jimmy knows our set up, knows the history, and can easily help us resolve any issues. The program itself does not cause us issues, it is more "user error", as I would say that it has a few areas that take a little time to learn; but Easy Storage is by far the easiest business program I have ever had to learn to use.
