It has made opening and running our self storage facility a breeze. Our clients can even rent space online. The support staff is outstanding; courteous, patient and helpful. I searched for months to find the right fit. The software and staff swayed me and I'm satisfied. Cons There is a learning curve with using the software. If you spend enough time with it you will figure it out but you definitely have to put some time in to know how to use it. Pros The software is very user friendly. With the training videos it was also very easy to get started. The support staff is very helpful over the phone on any issues that we couldn't figure out. ESS provides an easy setup to enable automation for all communication. If you are looking to automate some aspect of collections, its very easy to do so with ESS. Pros Ease of use is the best thing about this software. It provides everything you need and not the complicated features that I don't need like other software. I also would have to say the support from all the staff is by far the best I have seen in the industry. The owner gave a great recommendation, but I still did my homework. He was right...Easy Storage Solution had it all and for a great price. I found them to be the best software for a smaller business, like ourselves. The website design and back office functions handle all our needs in an easy to use way. According to our customers, it is also easy for them to use. The team at Easy Storage was great to work with. From day one they responded to my needs quickly and effectively. I also appreciate that they continuously upgrade their platform. Often they find new functions of the software to alter that I would have never considered, but once I use it I love it. I do wish they had more accounting functions related ot their product, but for the size of our needs and price the software works well for us. It allowed me to streamline my business into one software instead of using 3 different products. Customer service is great! They are always checking in to see how things are going and are eager to help get the website all set up. Thanks! Pros Love that it combines the functions of several software packages into one easy to use package. It allows you to rent units online, online bill pay, tenant accounting and a website all in one! We are able to manage regular storage, portable storage and a seasonal heated storage building all from one platform. I've installed this at our second facility and it's working well there too. Our customers LOVE the text messaging, online payment and autopay features. Pros It's allowed us to get a MUCH better handle on our business. Occupancy, trends, communication with customers, every aspect of our operation. Cons We had to re-think some of our operation. We were customer-based and the software is unit-based. Needles to say easy storage solutions has worked very well for me as in labor cost and accounting along with ease of use. Pros The ease of use, no employees needed, it seems to be updated regularly. Jimmy returns my calls and emails right away, and is always very professional and patient with me. We are new to the storage unit business, so I am learning as I go. Jimmy has helped me every step of the way. He answers all my questions even if they have nothing to do with the software. As for the software, it could not be more user friendly. These guys thought of every detail. We were up and running in no time. At one point, I thought the closing on our storage units might fall through after I signed up with Easy Storage Solutions. When I explained the situation to Jimmy he said if things did not work out at our closing he would refund all our money. That was after he already had everything set up! There are so many positive things about this software that I cannot think of any Cons. I have used this software since 2014 and back then I could have given you a few things that I did not like, but through the last couple years there have been some great improvements. Editing profiles has become so much easier when a customer needs a change in personal information. There are no grid lines or snap functions, copy/paste or some sort of user friendly drawing features would be a great start.
