January 30, 2018 5.0 It's easy to use and my tenants love the easy interface to sign in and pay their rent. Pros I like how I can customize the website to fit my needs. I also love the reports page that provides all the information I need for managing the property with ease. Cons I love the facility map page. Cons doesn't interface well with our accounting software so we disengaged that feature. We have offices and they like the ease of paying with a credit card and online, but they are treated very differently from storage leases. Our database is not stored on our computer, so backup is not necessary. This provides us with very high security for the information we store. The owners are reachable and a lot of fun to talk with. They also listen to their customer base and revise the database with new functions. Cons I can't think of a thing I dislike about Easy Storage Solutions. They are great to do business with, and I'm glad we chose them for our software needs. I truly believe that if we were dissatisfied with them we would be searching for another software vendor. And the online help is great. They have left me now as far as chat. But I can find the answers in the help menu. Pros This software is great! It allows me to do other things while it works for me. Cons I wish the site map was more user friendly and that you had characters to use for existing buildings & roads rather than dummy units. This throws all of your rental percentages off. They're very kind and straight forward when I felt like I was overloading them with questions. We ended up using their software for something slightly different than storage units and they were really great about helping us bridge the small gap. Pros How easy it is to use. Everything is set up so that with basic computer skills you can customize your website, pricing, and units all in one place. Cons The only section I struggle with is the website design. It is designed so you don't have to know hardly anything about website design in order to use it, but that can sometimes make it more difficult when trying to figure out how to make it look the way you want. The ability to generate reports and attach them to a tenant and have it e-mail out. A monthly report which will tell me how much I made and the amount of tax I need to send in to the state each month. A place to keep track of business expenses, so that I can run 1 report and give it to my account. Like a true balance sheet. Ad hoc reports would be nice. Pros The staff is always willing to answer questions and help out when ever we need them. They made the record keeping so much easer for us. Cons The software is still in its growing stage and some features are not in the software yet. They are working on new features and hopefully have them soon. Pros I love that I can easily keep track of all my customers and units from any of my devices anywhere. I can rent a unit out or take a payment even if I am not in my office. Having a website has really cut down on my paperwork. Cons There are a few areas where the software could be more intuitive and the mobile friendly pages need a little adjustment for administration, but could prove to be very useful in the future. What I have found, and still learning, is the beat way to create letters for our Customers. There have been recent updates for Easy Storage which seem to always be the best learning experience. Change is good plus getting to know the Agents have been a great experience. Cons There is not anything to dislike about the Software. I have yet to find anything that I do not like. " January 14, 2018 4.0 I got a call from a customer who couldn’t access our property in Indiana while I was in an airport in Florida. In two minutes I confirmed he was paid up to date and called him back. He had been using a wrong gate access code. I gave him his correct code and was able to enter immediately. Nice to solve a problem 1300 miles away in minutes! Pros Software is very cost effective and it is interactive with our gate controls. Accessible from my smart phone. Everything is laid out very simply and efficiently. The customer service is off the charts! They always answer the phone and reply to emails promptly. Answered all my questions and helped me move our customer database over without any issues. Very happy we decided to go with Easy Storage Solutions. I've probably cut my time spent invoicing and struggling over billing by at least half, if not more. I previously used Quicken for Rental Property, and it can't ever remotely compare. The functionality is perfect for storage and really helps us and our customers. Not only do we love how the software works, but the team is outstanding. I called on a Sunday and they answered the phone as they were headed into church. They are always happy to help, they are patient, and they are open to feedback on improvements. Cons I haven't found anything that I didn't like, except I wish I'd found it much sooner!
