March 10, 2014 5.0 I love how Easy Storage has been putting on updates every few months sometimes a few times a month to improve the software. Not only are these update free but they are really neat features that make both the managers and the tenants lives easier. Like this one last month made is so we can put multiple Credit Cards on file for a tenant, or pause credit cards etc... The recurring billing feature alone has made collections a lot easier. It's also nice to be able to pull up information on my smartphone or Ipad when i'm out and about and I get a call from someone. Thanks Guys. This software is easy to learn and easy to use. I am still learning to use all the features it offers to enhance the performance of running our business. Occasionally when I do need support, I use the chat option. I rarely have more than a minute wait. They have never failed to answer my questions and let me know why things need to be done a certain way. I did a lot of research before choosing . I'm glad I did. Pros I really like the way it automates the routine daily tasks, taking away the repetitive, mundane chores of running a storage business. It was a real differentiator to offer my customer the ability to rent & pay for their units online. Cons One thing it does not do, unless you pay extra, is handle the expenses part of the finances. This was time consuming and had many opportunities for errors or pitfalls. After learning about from my friend Jim of U-Save Storage, my wife and I finally reviewed the program and signed up. Ever since we have been incredibly happy with the program. I work in outside sales full time and travel the entire state and my wife is a full time employee of the local elementary school. With the Easy Storage Program, we take care of the units on the office side with an iPad, laptop and smart phone). It's allowing us to invest in self storage and setting us up on a growth pattern in that investment plan toward retirement and allowing us to maintain both of our own full time careers. I looked at and did demos of many kinds of storage software. This program is easy, simple and does everything I wanted plus more. Jimmy has went way above the promised help in setting me up and switched from the old program. If you want to have potential clients contact me to help you sell this program just ask. AAAA awesome! Cons A little nervous hearing there is a bill that wants to create a "internet kill switch" for the U.S. that our president will have the ability to kill at any time without congress approval. March 12, 2014 5.0 Pros When developing my first facility, I was at a loss regarding management software. A great many facilities had a website yet many did not have a payment portal. My goal was to be hands off regarding contract signing, payment collection, and monthly billing. enabled me to meet the goal. Tenants can register, rent, and make monthly payments from my website! I simply give them the site over the phone and they rent their own unit! No one has the product and the service as Easy Storage Solutions! Cons Quite frankly, there is nothing not to like. Pros The website is well designed and very efficient to use! Cons The map page was two separate pages. It was hard to make boxes and resize them for our storage units. And very very cost effective too! Pros They have great training which is simple and easy to understand. The website isn't overly complex but can do many different things. The back office support is incredible! Cons It took me a little while to learn how to do batch printing effectively and toggle between being printed versus email. The software is easy to use and the ability to modify the public website gives us a lot of flexibility. My only critiques thus far would be making modifications so that existing renters can set up their own user name and password when setting up new accounts rather than us assigning. I would also like the site map to automatically scale unit sizes and have a "snap to" feature so that creating the site map is not so tedious. I do really like the site map and being able to see facility status at a glance. This software has many different options and flexibility as far as billing amounts, dates, notices, charges and letters. We are also excited about the ability to rent units directly online. Pros ESS has made the transition seamless! Everyone has been extremely helpful and accessible by email and by phone - even with the most minute question. They seem to continually update the software for any glitches or upgrades. The package offered is not perfect, but is pretty darn close. It offers many usable tools and reports in seconds, has dropped our collections time average and eliminated the nightmare that was billing our customers. Learning this software is easy and has made the management of our facilities a lot easier. The customer service provided is exceptional. They respond quickly and are patient with all our issues. We are glad we made the switch and are looking forward to keep growing our business now that the banalities of billing and chasing customers takes only a few minutes of our day. " May 16, 2016 4.0 This is a great software for the storage business they have taken every part of what an owner need and provided it in this software. The ease of posting payments, deposit, and giving you your customers bill to be sent out is a lot easier than the last software I was using. And the customer service has been one of the best experience about the whole thing. They are easy to get a hold of if they don't answer they call you back in a timely manner.
