Pros: The affordability. This was our first attempt to use a software package for our silent auction and event management. The pricing meant we really couldn't pass it up. So many of the competitors wanted to send their team to our event, work the crowd and charge us thousands. I'm so glad I found a system that was willing to let us put in the time and just purchase the software.

Cons: The menu system is confusing, the system isn't intuitive. I wouldn't recommend it to organizations that don't have a tech-savy staff member. The system didn't auto check-out folks after the event, I had to initiate every checkout, even when cards were on file. When a card was on file, it was easy to accidently click "pay by cash" and then I couldn't undo to cash payment.

Abigayle we hear this over and over-"So many of the competitors wanted to send their team to our event, work the crowd and charge us thousands." Auctria was born out of the need to handle an annual school auction that had grown too big to be shuffling pieces of paper or Excel files around. Cost was a factor, so we needed something that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We couldn't find an answer so we built Auctria. For handling checkout with registered cards there is a batch checkout feature under Checkout -> Batch Checkout that will process all the accounts with a registered card at once. There are some more details on how it works at http://docs.auctria.com/v3/checkout/batch-checkout Existing payments that were recorded in error you can delete them from the Activity tab of the bidder details page. We wish you well in all your future fundraising endeavors!

Pros: I loved the ease of how it worked! It was easy to sign in bidders - teach someone new how to use it

Cons: there wasn't anything that I didn't enjoy - it worked just fine. when it came to checking out - we were learning on the fly

Comments: Very happy with this purchase. This product has been such a great and affordable product for our auction.

Pros: The price is fantastic, and really cannot be beat. The software is intuitive and easy to use. It is cloud based and you can have as many users as you'd like logged in and working on it at one time.

Cons: I really can't think of any issues with this software. Maybe more personalized customer service, should you need it. But in two years we have only had one issue.

Pros: This software does the job, and provides all the features I need at a fraction of the cost of the competition.

Cons: I am pretty tech savvy, so it works for me, but the software requires some knowledge and patience with basic database work. It is not as easy to use as some of the competition claims to be.

Overall: It does everything I need to run our annual auction at a fraction of the cost of the competition.

Pros: Stripe hookup! Money comes in easily. Easier to process than Square, when in a hurry. Easy to print out a nice looking receipt that makes people calm.

Cons: Left nav very long. Sometimes hard to scroll down and click the thing you want. But a minor detail. Mostly great.

Overall: Made doing the auction sane.

Pros: It had promise. Seemed like a good solution for people who would be able to pay with their own credit card and then check out using that same credit card.

Cons: IF everyone would have bought their own ticket with their own credit card and then if they had wanted to do self-checkout with that same credit card THEN this software would have been a dream. Nearly a third of our auction participants wanted something different. We didn't have enough computers to handle the anomolies. We didn't have enough training to know how to back out transactions or add a charge, or do a split charge (cash, check and/or credit). We didn't have enough log-ins to ensure system reliability. The system crashed halfway through checkout and NONE of the charges went through. It was a nightmare and now I'm stuck cleaning it up--and I still don't have the training I need to manage the failed transactions. I'm a volunteer for crying out loud and I don't want to spend my time on this.

Sorry that your experience was clearly not what we want groups to experience with Auctria. From reviewing the transactions it looks like the anti-fraud settings on your credit card processing account were too high and the charges were blocked downstream because of this. Unfortunately this isn't something we can directly control or make changes to ourselves. However, I'm happy to waive our credit card fees for the charges that were processed. For refunding a transaction there is a Refund link on the bidder activity tab which can be used to trigger a refund. Please let us know at help@auctria.com if you have any other questions about resolving any transactions.

Using Auctria for our Symphony Soiree has made a huge improvement in the efficiency of our event.

Pros: We like that it allows multiple users to work in it, allowing us to easily share the workload of preparing for our fundraising event.

Cons: Using the user guide to find the exact answer to a challenge. I end up having to reach out to customer support more often than not, but I do appreciate their prompt responses!

Overall: Raising more money before - and during - our event; raising the bar on the quality of our event; time savings.

Pros: We love that it allows us to store information from year to year making it easier and easier to set up our annual auction. We also love the responsiveness of the support team!

Cons: Sometimes it is difficult to customize certain aspects of the online auction website to fit our individual needs but this has gotten better and better over the years as more and more features are added. We really are very happy with the product.

Pros: Auctria is simply amazing! It's extremely user friendly, and we had so many compliments on our website! We were able to display all of our silent auction items prior to the event. We even offered some buy it now items prior to the event at a higher value! Ticket and table sales were easy. We are so thankful for Auctria! The customer service was top notch. I had questions, we would send an email to Auctria and get answers back promptly. We even had links sent to us that would walk us through our questions. Super helpful!

Overall: This made our event so much better!

We did purchase a domain name for our website name to make it easier to advertise our event. This was minimal and 100% worth it.

Pros: Quick and easy item and bidder entry. Also inputting the winning bids on items and cashing out the bidders at the end of the evening goes so smoothly for everyone. Being able to print the bid sheets for all the silent auction items saves us a lot of time from having to create our own bid sheets (we did that for many years before Auctria). Since we only use it twice a year, it takes a bit of time to refresh our memories as to how to do everything, but not as much time as doing everything manually. The many reports available are easy to use and provide clear information.

Cons: Would be nice to be able to "hide" sections that we don't use when entering information on items and bidders. We've sent a request in to see if there's a way to enter tickets (as tickets vs as items) with numbers and assign them to specific bidders.

Overall: Shortened the amount of time needed to prepare, run and get full reports on the auction.

Pros: Best features include copying our old auction as a starting point for the next year's, ease of entering items and donors, the reports available, and the ease of billing and checking out our bidders. Customer support is awesome!

Cons: We always seem to have a few little hiccups printing materials but nothing that we couldn't resolve. In the end, everything looked just the way we wanted.

Pros: Once it's set up, works great! The new features of quick bid entry are super easy and quick! The customizing of receipts is nice too.

Cons: Dashboard is a little busy. It has so many options, it's difficult to find things at times. Sometimes it was difficult in finding the options to customize the statements.

Pros: The software continues to evolved with very useful features. What I really like most is that the folks at our schools thinks I am a hero for introducing the Auctria solution. ;-) The new interface is well organized. The integration with CC processing is very convenient. The Ticket, Table, Link and Merge futures are all very useful features. Overall, our school is very happy with the solution.

Cons: The security model can be further improved. The statement for linked bidders could be further enhanced by indicating line items by bidder.

Overall: The ease of use is great. Customer/Technical Support is topnotch.

Pros: Definitely easy to enter data before, during, and even edit after an event. I love the merge bidders option! The statements are perfect for our needs.

Cons: I do wish I could easily have extracted a report detailing how each bidder spent their money on specific items and not just a type or category. Our bookkeeper requires this so I have to generate it myself in a spreadsheet by joining a few extracted reports from Auctria. Easy but it takes precious time.

Overall: Simple format, ease of use, some useful reports post-event.

Pros: Customer support was tremendous. They helped through the learning curve and we were able to hold a very successful two day silent (paper) auction.

Overall: Ease of customizing specialty forms and track to specific items was a learning process. Our silent auction was paper only so converting the process for this use was very actionable.

Pros: Easy to use and train others to use, many customizable options for sellable items, website is awesome and tutorials on creating website are very helpful, cost is the lowest in the industry which is much needed for our non-profit school event. We used Auctria at our annual school auction this year and it did everything we needed and more for a fraction of the software that we have used in the past. Hint -- there is also a way to pass on credit card sales fees to credit card users which saved us those fees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Cons: Our auction chair had a few questions and couldn't find a number to call. She emailed and got a response back in 24 hours, which is their promise. For what it's worth, our software company before this one had the same policy and cost 10 times more so I don't feel like this is a deal breaker for us.

Overall: Our school auction takes place every spring, does profit every year and sustains our PTA budget through the following year. We make enough to need a software system but we don't make enough to spend bookoo bucks on it. Auctria does everything we need including -*organizing and selling items
*offering receipts to donors and buyers
*offering customizable website that is easy to create and share
*allowing for many check out options including online, in person and push text notifications
*option to pass credit card fees on to buyer so that our school can keep more money for our kids.

Auctria is the only software that we will use going forward and I highly recommend!!!

Pros: It was fairly simple to enter the auction items, record bids, and make payments on the account. I was very impressed with how simple it was to close out the auction.

Cons: The website designer was not the easiest to use. I also did not like how table assignments were done. It would be better if when assigning tables in counted the additional bidders in the table assignments.

Cons: I don't like that when you copy bidders you have to do it one at a time. Also that sometime it glitches.

Comments: It took some time to understand the general layout

Pros: Full functionality, tons of features. Unexpected value. First time user, set up a website, silent auction, ticket sales, raffle. We had 450 people attend our event. With some help from tech support this was manageable. Support was patient, prompt, and even willing to make minor modifications in the software to suit our needs. The event was very successful.

Cons: I had a hard time understanding how to create the website at first. Reading the instructions might have been a good idea before I started.

Pros: I like how easy it is to navigate on the dashboard, build out a live auction website and load all images for sponsorship and in-kind donors.

Cons: Credit card swipers for swiping credit cards during the event. Maybe this is something that Stripe offers but would help with check in and check out.

Pros: Customer service is amazing. As a newbie to software, their patience and response rate was extraordinary.

Allowed us to easily host online and silent auction quickly and professionally.

Very robust back end support...reports/bidding/logs/ and dashboard made monitoring a breeze

Ease of switching from online to silent for event allowed us to reach a broader audience for auction prior to event

Have to stress support one more time....unbelievable!!!

Pros: The software does everything for you and makes it easy to run an auction and don't worry about learning how to use it, because the customer service reps answer any questions thoroughly.

Cons: I wish when you added pictures to preset slideshows and other website features that the system would automatically change the size as the example picture. I have to resize a lot of pictures for the slideshow.

Overall: Setting up the website for one!

Pros: Multi-user, retention of data by auction, emailing of invoices and donation receipts, and the ability to copy data from one auction to the next. Exceptional customer support and response. Our church uses this software so our auction's donors and bidders are mostly the same people. We auction items that have multiple winners (gourmet dinners, themed parties, etc. ). A few emails back and forth was all it took to get the software to handle this accurately. I searched quite a long while for a replacement for our ancient software (that was a multi-user nightmare) and I hit the jackpot when finding Charity Auction Organizer. I am a retired programmer/analyst and this software was easy to learn, has excellent Help, and the personalized support we needed. Taking awhile to get used to the newest version with Auctria, but we'll get there. Have used this product for four of our church's auctions and one other non-profit auction. We'll be using it again November 2018.

Overall: Accurate accounting of the major fundraiser (other than our annual operating fund campaign) for our church. Also ability to maintain and manage accounts receivable (we don't take payment on the night of our auction). Help in recruiting volunteers for the auction - volunteer data entry is easier to come by when the data entry can be done remotely and is easy to learn. Our church is just a medium-sized one (350 members) and we cannot afford to spend thousands to have someone come in and run our yearly auctions. A yearly cost of less than what we pay is far less than the value we receive for this software. Our auctions have reached thousands od dollars in income the past two years. We are very excited about that. My ONLY concern is that should Auctria go out of business that we would lose all our data. THAT would be awful. I would hope and pray that we would be offered CSV files of all our data before it "disappeared."

To ease your mind Auctria does have export features under Import/Export -> Export and any report on the screen can be exported as a PDF/XLS/CSV file using the 'Actions' menu at the bottom of the page.

Overall: This was our first time to use any auction product -- in the past we have struggled with giant Excel spreadsheets. Auctria was affordable for us, and yet provided a robust product that allowed us to not only do better what we were already doing (track items, bidders, donors), but also do new things that we couldn't have managed before (automatically produce bid sheets, pre-register credit cards, batch check-out, invoice preparation, generate reports). And now we are familiar with those features, we are looking forward to using even more of Auctria's features next year. We are very pleased.

Pros: Ease of use. The reporting features are great. Tech assistance is quick and friendly. Love the sample pages.

Cons: Sometimes I have difficulty linking pages in a way that works for me and some design elements are difficult for me to add. With that being said, please know I am not that tech davy.

Overall: I have used Auctria for several years. We are a very small non-profit and I have multiple duties in addition to development. I used a larger, better known, on-line auction company which was expensive. I looked at several sites and was very pleased with the ease of use of Auctria( it was Charity Auction Organizer Then). I loved the assistance provided at the beginning and to this date, my questions are answered almost immediately. Setting up pages is easy, easier than the more popular site I had used. The linkage through stripe has been great and easy to manage. I tell anyone who asks how pleased I am with the site and I cannot imagine why anyone would spend more money for less service. I highly recommend the site!

Comments: We are going on our third year using this software. It's really designed for online auctions so there are a few things that need adapting for in-house events. We have had some guests say they have had a difficult time registering for the event. Guest counts are tough but customer support is great on trying to find solutions. I'm very pleased with the auction website features.

We are able to easily pull the auction financial reports that we need.

Comments: My organization has been using Auctria (formerly Charity Auction Organizer) for three years now. While any software that has a multitude of features and capabilities can be somewhat difficult to learn, they have a highly responsive and knowledgeable customer support staff (with a special shout-out to Rob Walker) to help out through this learning and implementation process. We started slow using a limited amount of what is offered and have added more features every year. We also appear to have used a number of features in a manner that was not originally intended. In these instances, Auctria was receptive in making a few specific changes to accommodate us. I would highly recommend Autria for any fundraising activity, large or small. A first class organization.

Pros: No more creating bid sheets, checkout and payment issues. It is so helpful! This is also the first year we will have a catalog.

Cons: I haven't found any yet!

Overall: I cannot believe the capabilities relative to the cost. Amazing! I run a silent auction for charity and this is the best organizational tool I've found. My items are numbered, grouped, bid sheets are created and a database keeps it all together.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use it! You won't find more bang for your buck out there.

Pros: EASY! Easy to learn, easy to teach other volunteers, easy to review data and reports. If you have never done an auction it can be daunting, people want to help but how? With Auctria it's all in one place, with complete user guide documentation. EASY to input data for items, bidders and donors. EASY to load pictures to auction items, click copy and link. EASY to search for information- by name, number, partial description. Easy and flexible too with lots of bidding options.

Cons: I do wish we could attach to our PayPal account.

Overall: As the Auction Chair for 4 years I can tell you it is VITAL to have accurate data. Having accurate data is incumbent upon the committee to choose a program that supports the auction activities from start to finish and year to year.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would be insecure using any other auction program other than Auctria.

Pros: Add to that the fact that your support team responds quickly and with wonderful detail, and that you have priced it so charities can actually afford it? You better believe I will continue telling EVERYONE about how amazing your service is! Hundreds of hours have likely been saved over the past 2 years of using it, and peace of mind for the processing team is priceless.

Cons: Now my biggest problem is remembering you are now Auctria instead of CAO

Overall: Volunteer Event Chair for the Market & Auction event for Variety in BC, Canada. We raise funds for special needs kids in BC, ranging from therapy to medication to wheelchairs and converted vans. We step in where Health Care ends to help families cope with the financial burdens of needed support for the child.

When I took over as Chair of this event 4 years ago the auction item bid sheets were...and I kid you not....handled in a single Word document. 200 pages long. 1 item per page. And that was just for starters! Each item was in a separate Word doc, from display sheets to receipts to certificates.

I had made a switch to a set of Excel documents with formulas and master sheets which was substantially better, but still time consuming. Much more accurate, but time consuming.

Then by some miracle I found CAO while looking for something else. The more I explored what it could do the more excited I got, and by the time I met with my partner to tell her about it I was almost bouncing off the walls in joy! The following meeting with my committee I went over the basics of the program, and every time someone brought up a concern or question I was able to answer it with "Oh don't worry, CAO does that.....right here...let me show you..."

Recommendations to other buyers: Auctria really does do it all, does it well!

Man...hard to pick a favorite feature.

I thought the whole tool was very easy to use and quite helpful. I like the reporting. So easy to produce receipts, payment reports, etc, etc. Also appreciated the ease of uploading bidder & donor lists. Loved that the support team was so easily/quickly accessible.

Cons: You should advertise more, we have been running an auction for 7 years and we just found Auctria.

Overall: Auction co-chair. We started using Auctria this past year and instantly made our auction activies more organized!

Pros: I also love how you can see the details of everything - item, donor, starting bid, purchased price, winner, etc. I LOVED the reporting capabilities, and the fact that items were easy to enter, to change/amend, to track, and everything happened at a push of a button.

Cons: We were still getting used to the program and didn't use all the features, we ran out of time. We did not actually use the website portion this year but hope to do so next time.

Overall: I co-chair the auction to fundraise for our school.

In the past we used to do our auction almost manually, our registration and check out last year was frustrating and complicated. With Auctria this year's was soooooooooooo much smoother.

Recommendations to other buyers: We did research a couple of options before going with Auctria. It seemed to us that Auctria had everything that we needed (and more!), and for a much better price than some of the competitors.

Comments: We just finished out first Auction and went in unsure of what to expect. After reading such great reviews online for Auctria.com and seeing the price was affordable we tried it out. Auctria has saved SO MUCH time in many areas: streamlining the check out process, coordinating the after-event reports ... very easy to use this software, very user-friendly! The only drawback, if I 'had' to put one down is that you cannot call them for immediate support; however, Rob was fairly quick in responding to each and every question we had - very appreciative! I've been to several very large Auctions that use software costing thousands of dollars; Auctria did everything we needed and more for a few hundred dollars. I would highly recommend this product!

Comments: After using another auction package for 5 years, we switched to Auctria for our 2016 auction. We were very impressed - the software is easy to learn, easy to use, the use of icons is intuitive. We had over 850 items on our auction and over 500 active bidders, with no problems at all. Comments: Our education foundation used this site for a small online auction with 24 items. We also added some items to purchase, and asked for online donations. The auction worked extremely well, and the site was easy to navigate. we had a complication with the purchases and donations because we're not on stripe.com; we had to re-direct purchasers and donors to our own website to pay.

Comments: We used Charity Auction Organizer to conduct our school's online fundraising auction in Februrary 2016. The software is easy to use with intuitive interface, has all the main functions necessary to conduct the auction. Credit card integration with stripe.com is seamless and allows to process sales immediately. We especially liked the ability to grab images from urls and resize/edit them right within the softwate. Charity Auction Organizer is very cost effective, which is crucial for a non-profit organization when every raised penny counts.
Rob provided superior customer service and support, answering all the questions professionally, providing the exact information we needed and in a very timely manner.
There are certain improvements that would make the platform even better, specifically better options for auction site design, ability to display items with the most activity, some kind of dashboard on the main page showing categories, items without bids, hot items etc. and most importantly extended bidding feature.
Overall, I highly recommend this product for online auctions.

Comments: My organization has been running a silent auction at an annual fundraiser for several years. We've got few staff members and mainly rely on volunteers to organize the auction. It was always a nightmare-- the details of signage, duplicate items, bidder engagement and so on would keep us up all night. CAO addresses all of these details and gives us plenty of tools beyond that, like sending a bill to outstanding accounts that left the event before settling. Overall, CAO helped us provide a better user experience and increased our take-home revenue. I'm eager to use online bidding next year. Great support, comprehensive features, and terrific price.

Comments: Philanthropy is easy as a bidder for a fundraising auction. Our family donates both time and money to lots of great causes. As a bidder on Charity Auction Organizer it's also FUN! At the gala silent auction the bid catalog is professional, bid sheets are uniform and clean. I've been told by the volunteers that it all derives from the auction program.

As a bidder for the online auction component bidding is quick and simple. Then, as I am outbid notifications are emailed immediately so I can re-bid. I love the back-and-forth on the online bidding system. Using the proxy bidding is a great component I have used to make sure I get the auction items I really want.

I always end up donating more than I planned but it's for a great cause so it's ALL GOOD!

Comments: As the new VP of Fundraising I had the opportunity to really look at our fundraising with fresh eyes. Since the group had been using this program for several years prior ALL the past data for: donors, bidders & sales, was available to review.

Charity Auction Organizer/ Auctria has been our auction hub for 5 years. With 3 VP of Fundraisers and countless auction volunteers our auction fundraiser has remained consistent and professional and polished looking throughout.

In comparing our overall (yearlong) supporters to the Auction we were able to derive new revenue from new individuals. Using past bidder information that is maintained on CAO we can easily re-market to past bidders.

Learning to use the program was quick and easy for myself and in training new volunteers.

We take full advantage of the website creating tool. We use it to pre-market which helps with procurement. We have used it to sell event tickets. We use it to collect donations. ALL in one place.

The BEST part about CAO is the collection process. Having Stripe connected means as soon as the auction closes bidders cards are charged. Easy and efficiently!

The benefit of using the program year after year is that we can work smarter. We already know who had donated in the past and use that as our procurement target list. The donors have already been loaded so it's simple as adding new items. Bidders that registered in the past need only to log in.

I highly recommend this program to ANY group that want to run a fundraising auction and do so in a professional and organized fashion.

Comments: For 4 years on Auction Night I volunteer to register bidders, sell raffle tickets, record bids and collect donations and payments. With a quick 5 minute instruction from the Auction Chair I'm fully trained and ready to go!

It's so easy to: sell a admission ticket, give out bidder numbers, pre-register credit cards, record a bid, collect a donation, sell a raffle ticket all from one program. The web-based system also allows multiple users to input data at the SAME time, in REAL time. Linking bidder to the final payment & collections is smooth and hassle-free.

The program is straightforward to use.

It makes it easy to say "YES, I will volunteer!"

Comments: Charity Auction Organizer is the epitome of excellence in being user friendly, intuitive and with exceptional customer service. I'm not sure they ever sleep! I may write in a question at 2am and I have an answer within hours. I find the software easy to use, the reporting simple and flexible, and the flow just works. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We run our fundraising auctions through CAO and it has saved time and energy across the board. By running out ticket sales through CAO we can push the link out to more people and the exportable reporting makes it easy for our financial team to upload the results into their software. I appreciate being able to bring over previous information and having a check-in process for our on-site events that is simple and quick. The ability to set up items, bidders, create our website and close out after the auction is seamless. It's not often that I can write a review without any cons, but this software and the CAO team is truly a pleasure to work with.

Comments: When using CAO as a bidder for our elementary school's fundraising auction for several years, I was impressed with the software, its views and ease of use. The software was affordable and we brought it on board for our middle school's first on-line fundraising auction this year. I was just as impressed when using it as an administrator. The auction items were easy to load, the reports center allowed simple tracking of bidders, status, etc. Everyone on our administration team had easy access to whatever data needed to startup, run, monitor, track and closeout the auction. Comments: I have worked with Charity Auction Organizer as both an auction volunteer and treasurer.

As a volunteer I came in with no prior knowledge of the software and helped close all the silent bids. The program was super simple to learn and within minutes I was up to speed. The program is very intuitive.

The following year as a Treasurer I found even more joy in using Charity Auction Organizer for our online auction. Dashboard reports during the auction process let us keep an eye on the in-progress bids. Credit card integration with bidder registration made the collections a hands off process. The auto bidder, close-out, billing and receipts system generated functions were flawless.

Charity Auction Organizer is a MUST have for any charity using the auction format for fundraising.

LOVE that the entire team can access all the data all the time. In addition, our past data is right there to help make strategic marketing and pricing decisions & get us jump start for next year.

Comments: Charity Auction Organizer is a fantastic and very affordable program. It is incredibly user friendly, very easy to learn, and helped us prepare for our annual gala. CAO play a large role huge part in making our 405 person Gala and large auction (85 silent auction items/7 live) such a success. We were wowed by the ease of use of many of the program features- item tracking, auction catalog, bid sheet and certificate production, attendee registration, bidder check-in to check-out, invoicing/receipting and post event reporting, to name a few. Not to mention, Charity Auction Organizer also has a super friendly and helpful online technology team who are there to assist you every step of the way! Next time we will use online auction bidding as well. We highly recommend Charity Auction Organizer for your next event or auction!

Comments: We are so pleased with the quality and reliability of Charity Auction Organizer we feel guilty getting it for such a great price. We use this software for 2 auctions per year, it tracks everything that we need it to and more. The best part about CAO is how easy it is to use. I love that it is web based and doesn't 'live' on my laptop. Reporting is good. Customer Service is amazing. I am not sure what to put here for the 'cons'. We haven't found any!

Comments: I am happily going on my 4th auction with Charity Auction Organizer. It does a fabulous job at organizing bidders, items and sponsors; generating bid-sheets, display pages and invoices; integrating online auction catalogue and registration, and tracking and reporting of results. The intuitive user-friendly interface means that any volunteer can jump. Customer service is insanely good as they have on several occasions incorporated development suggestions within hours or days. Improvements come constantly and last auction, USB credit card swiping for check-out was incorporated makingcheck-out even smoother. One limitation is only Stripe for credit card processing.
