" July 6, 2020 5.0 Auctria allowed us to have an online fundraiser to support our non-profit during the COIVD-19 crisis. We were able to raise a comparable amount to our in-person event which was amazing considering the challenges of holding event during this crisis. Additionally, the response from the support team was fast and helpful! We have used Auctria for years in a minimum capacity (only managing the bid sheets/auction items) and now we feel like we could use it for the full event and have even more success! Thank you to the amazing team! Pros The best part about Auctria is that all aspects of our event were easily organized in one central website. From ticket purchased to table assignments, auction items, and checkout. This was great for our staff but also for the attendees of the event. I received so many compliments about how easy it was to use, how great the communications were, and how smooth the event went. Because of COVID-19 this was our first online only event and to get this kind of feedback was amazing! Cons The part that I liked least was the building of the online webpage. It was overall very intuitive, but some of the functions were difficult to manage. Pros Having used 3-4 other auction software programs, Auctria by far is not only the best value for the money, but also the BEST program out there. It handles online auctions as smoothly as in-person auctions and is incredible versatile and customizable. Customer service is fast and reliable. Cons The only issue I have had is understanding when to link bidders who are attending the auction together and bidding under the same number and when to list one as an "alternate bidder" on a bidder's record. The distinction can be a little confusing and can make the printing of receipts and statements less than ideal. Registration only!!! When I found Auctria it was the answer to all of our problems! Pros The software is very intuitive and user friendly. Our school has a yearly auction and we used the software for the first time last year and have learned so much about it in the last year. We used if for the second year this year and it is AMAZING!! We were able to export information and add information and import again, which saved a lot of time. I can't wait to use it for our auction next year as we learn more about it every day. Cons The thing I like the least is only being able to use 2 companies to process credit cards in the software. We are going to look into using that in our next auction and I think it will make checkout so much easier! The system is robust and takes care of every aspect of gala management that we need. Pros I have been using Auctria since the days it was called Charity Auction Organizer. It handles every aspect of running a gala event that we need: ticket sales, seating, items to purchase (outside the auction items), donations, silent and live auction items, online catalog and bidding, and invoicing. Just a dream from start to finish. We purchase the Silver edition, and it more than pays for itself. I find Auctria.com to be far and above any other online auction/gala systems I've researched. Cons I wish Auctria.com were part of my existing donor database software features, but alas it is not. But there really isn't an affordable solution that acts as an all-in-one system. The platform is easy to navigate. Entering and managing content and bidders is simple. The check-out process is seamless and we didn't experience any issues during the past two years we have worked on the platform. We have given volunteers access to upload and enter items on the site which they did easily and with minimal training. If we had questions or issues, the customer service team was prompt in their reply and helpful in providing information or helping to solve the problem. Registering bidders was a simple process and we didn't receive any negative feedback or have any issued with our bidders accessing the site and bidding on items. We had great success the past two years with the online auction for our event and attribute it to the ease of using the platform and the wonderful customer service team. The fee structure and annual subscription fee are reasonable which ensures we maximize our fundraising for the school. We will use them again! It has always suited our needs and made any of our processes go smoothly. As mentioned in my pro's, what makes Auctria so great is its functionality and the ability for anyone to get the hang of it very quickly. Does not bog you down with anything superfluous. I look forward to exploring more uses and functions that Auctria offers in future events. Pros 1\. Easy to learn. This was my first time using Auctria, and the learning curve was not steep and all. Very intuitive and easy to pick up for first time users. 2. Great customer support team. The few times we did need to reach out, the support staff was accessible and able to quickly get us back on track. 3. Great organization. Easy to organize and keep track of a variety of auctions/event options. Cons None really that we came across! There was some confusion over the use of the app, which could partly be contributed to user error. In any case, for our event the use of the app was more of an extra anyway and not needed to achieve our goals. I found that, overall, I was able to navigate most of it myself, and that which I could not I was able to get help with. Pros I like that fact that if you have a question, or a problem, they are on top of it! Generally, it took no more than a few minutes to get a question answered, and I had a couple of times I was freaking out and they assured me and got it fixed within minutes. I am not the most computer savvy, but they were there to help me when i needed it. Cons Bidding can be confusing for a husband and wife (or couple) if they are trying to get two seats to an event like a dinner. It's not confusing to me, but that is what I get the most requests for help about. October 12, 2020 5.0 Overall, we would highly recommend Auctria to anyone wanting to use an user friendly software platform. Pros It is user friendly and intuitive. We had over 200 auction items that had to be entered and the system made it very easy to upload that information. The Customer Service is excellent. We utilized the Auctria Launch option and would HIGHLY recommend it. It was worth every penny. Cons We wished that the system would mandate that anyone registering for an auction must enter a credit card at the time of registration. We had a few people bid on items and then we could not obtain payment afterwards as they had no card registered and wouldn't respond to our requests for it. November 21, 2022 4.0 We've used the software for our annual auction for 4 years now. It's far less expensive than the software we used previously and has much better online functions for bidders. Pros The price is far less expensive than other auction software we've used, and the feature to add on online bidding for no additional fee is fantastic! It's allowed us to create a hybrid auction with in-person and online bidders. Cons The report functions are not as easy or as extensive as I'd like, and the bidding features make biddign on multiseat events more cumbersome than I'd like. Online ticket sales were easy and we knew exactly where we stood at any time - an important aspect since our venue had limited seating. The entire experience was amazing. I highly recommend the use of this software. Pros Easy to use. The user guides are easy to follow and the support from their staff is amazing if you should get stuck. The ability to use text bidding increased what we made from our auction. And check out was the easiest ever with the use of registered credit cards. I liked the ability to use a "trainer" to process things, and tracking auction items was pretty easy. Cons The trainer feature was great, but didn't pull the items I had already inputted, or donors. Also the check out process was a bit confusing at first. And didn't have split-payment options, or I couldn't find that. I definitely recommend paying to the more hands-on experience if this is your first time managing a fundraiser - it's more than worth it. Pros Auctria was recommended by a fellow PTA member. While our fundraiser was a much larger scale, the system was able to handle each and every single thing I needed or thought of and it was a mere click away. Cons Uploading silent auction items on your own is a bit complicated but using the spreadsheet and uploading images makes it very simple. This year we had to go to a virtual event and used the online auction along with other features we have not used in the past. The learning curve was a little steep, but our concierge \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was fantastic helping us get started. I highly recommend the Emerald plan if this is your first year. The feedback was very positive from our guest in the ease of registering and bidding. We had all items paid for within 24hrs. Cons Setting up was not the most intuitive however having had help from the concierge I think we can do it on our own next year. The home page was a little clunky in mobile view. Once our guests clicked on Online Bidding, it was fine. It exceeded our expectations and our auction went very smoothly. Also I loved their customer support chat format. The reps were not only knowledgeable but helped me with brainstorming on how to use the system to fit our organization’s particular needs. Cons This is so minor but it would have bee nice to be able to have word templates available for bid sheets and configure tables in bidder and ticket statements emails. User-friendly, well organized, clear user guides and videos to watch if needed. I have worked with several different software programs, and honestly, this is the very best experience that I have ever had learning a new system. Pros Was easy to use. Easy to track donors as well as bidders and such. Cons Overall it was very good. We had no real issues with it. I think the import from Austria into our donor base is a little bit more tricky but doable. There was no API to connect more seamlessly which would have been helpful.
