### "Easy to use Auction Software"

We had a home grown computer program for our church auction and there was only one person who developed it and could use it. We looked for an off the shelf replacement and after developing our requirements we evaluated several packages and found Auctria to be the best bang for our buck. It not only meant all of our requirements but has features we hope to use next year like on-line bidding. The price is right, the support is fantastic and the ease of use is exactly what we need for a volunteer group of people running the auction.

Pros

Auctria was not only easy to learn and use, but the support was really great. We needed to have help during our auction with one issue and our support person was immediately responding and assisting us - this was at 7:30PM on a Saturday night. Everyone was really impressed with the support we have received since the purchase of the software. We will continue to use Auctria!

Cons

There were some areas where the on-line help was not very clear, but again if we could not figure something out we sent an email and had an immediate response.

The best feature is that you can go into previous Auction's and copy bidders and auction items

Cons

I'm overall very happy with the software. The only flaw I had with this software is that the invoices went for many people into their spam folder. That was a bit difficult cause I had to run after payments because of it.

### "Very professional product and service"

Very positive. I honestly can't imagine how they make money. I imagine my auction took hours of their time (they even did software modifications on one or two features when I had problems/questions, to make them easier to use), but the price for the auction itself was under $200 and the percentage they received off the bidding was very small, as my Auction was small - bringing in under $15K. I would definitely use this again if I do another Auction. They have done a terrific job of thinking everything through.

Pros

I really liked the final look of the website created for my auction, despite my using only the most basic elements - looked very professional. I also very - very! - much appreciated the customer support via text and email, which I used quite a bit. The response was always within minutes-to-hours, including on weekends. During the online Auction itself, their response to any of my bidders that had issues was immediate.

Cons

The software is multi-purpose, built for a variety of kinds of auctions. I was only doing an online auction, not in-person. I would have really valued having a separate thread of instructions for online-only auctions. Trying to sort out which of the instructions related to physical auctions vs. online auctions was sometimes confusing.

Decision came down to Auctria and 32 Auctions. Auctria had more features for online auctions at a lower overall price.

### "So much easy"

It’s a great software and super easy to use. The first year our stripe account was attached to a different auction and I didn’t realize it until the night of the event. Customer service was awesome and got it all squared away before anyone walked through the door.

Pros

Love that you can track everything you have received as in-kind donations and you can send a new registered bidder a toke. Directly to their phone that automatically logs them into the auction.

Cons

Would like to be able to run a report of bidders who actually bid and won. A tracking system so we know who needs to be in the room next year.

Great documentation, easy to use, and good support when it was needed. Also we had a feature request that was very important for our particular group and the team at Auctria was able to get it implemented in time for our auction.

Auctria met the needs we had for our auction, editing donations submitted online by donors would be a nice feature.

Pros

The system worked very well to manage our bidders and items. We could easily import the bidders that we had already established from previous auctions.

Cons

Our auction is primarily based on Company bids. Auctria seems to be more set up for personal bids. Having the company be more important in checkout and reports would be helpful. I know we can customize some of that, but we didn't have time to do a lot of that before our first auction.

### "Just what we needed!"

This was our first ever online auction, but Auctria made us look professional and allowed us to be efficient in dealing with bidders and donors.

Pros

My favorite part about using Auctria was the option of having an Auctria Concierge help us set up our auction website and help us get up to speed using the software. I did not see that option on any of the other auction software I looked at, and it made all the difference in our situation, where we had to choose and implement something very quickly.

Cons

I did not find any aspects of this software that I disliked or that I found clunky or difficult. The dashboard interface was simple to figure out, and all of the promised features worked as advertised.

Reason for choosing Auctria

Auctria was the most often mentioned auction software favorably mentioned by users of Little Green Light, our CRM. Auctria was also significantly less expensive than most other products- in some cases, one tenth of the price, for what seemed like the same basic functionality. Most importantly, Auctria was the only product I saw that had the Concierge option. (Even with that tacked on- worth every penny- Auctria was STILL significantly less expensive than some of the other auction software choices.)

Overall this product is good, easy to use which is key since you don't get any training.

Pros

It is very intuitive. It has a lot of features integrated such as printing auction catalog, bid sheets, emailing invoices or receipts to your constituents. The search feature is strong. Overall it is easy to use if you have the time to figure it out.

Cons

NO phone support unless you PAY and even then, you only get it for the day of your event. On on event days, I usually need the answers quickly so having to email support my questions and wait for a reply is not the best use of my time. Even when you get a reply, they usually just send you a link to an article on how to whatever you're asking. I am an auditory learner, so this is not the way my brain works. I would MUCH prefer unlimited phone support like I get with Salsa CRM.

### "Couldn't run our auction without it."

We run an annual fundraising dinner and auction. We could not pull it off without Auctria. This software helps us manage donations, auction items, tickets, bidders and bids as well as check out. We could not run this event without Auctria.

Pros

It is great that Auctria is pretty straightforward and my volunteers can use it with minimal training for our once a year event. The website for promoting the auction and selling the tickets is great too.

Cons

We've had some confusion over registering bidders with people who purchase multiple tickets ahead of time. We've also had some confusion with the getting couples linked together under a single bidder number as they purchase separate tickets to come.

We utilize Auctria for our annual auction. It works great for record keeping and I love that it stores past auctions so that we are now able to compare previous years with more ease.

Pros

The bidders having the option to bid online and the ease of their bidding.

Cons

Not being able to customize the text software. We would like to be able to create custom responses that bidders can use for check out.

The reports section allows you to run Current Auction data as well as ALL Auction data. This is especially helpful if new team people join your auction team. Re: texting, fyi there is the ability to customize the header/footer of the text messages. This is where bidder statements can be included, with applicable links. Exceeded our expectations

Pros

The software was incredibly user friendly from creation to execution of our auction. We received great customer service which made the process smooth and took the stress out of implementation. The dashboards were a great tool to track the progress of our auction and were essential for reporting post event. Our donors have repeatedly told us what a seamless and good experience they had. We would HIGHLY recommend this platform!

Cons

We would like for direct donations to have been able to be counted toward our scholarship donation.

Pros

We used this software for our annual fund raising event. We sold over 300 tickets, many on-line and checked in over 250 people on the night of the event without any bottlenecks or delays. Support from the Auctria team was excellent!

The price went up last year and this year.

### "Reports need improvement."

We've been using for 3 years now and it's been helpful.

Pros

Ease of payment and bid tracking. I like how you can export data into excel. Easy to change items and bidders.

Cons

The reporting wasn't helpful. There should be a total for the reports, and without the need to export it. A total for each type(live versus silent). It only lists the values, but not the bid or payment values on the dashboard. So it would be helpful if the reporting was more user friendly. Also, not sure if there is a bid notification feature, or if we can print a bid of so we can notify the users.

The auction dashboard currently lists bid & payment values in the Income Summary table on the right, the Item Summary table shows only the item values. There is also an 'Income by item type' report available under Reports -> Financial. You can trigger bid notifications by email and optionally text message when recording bids by checking the 'send item won notification' on the page. Decent... most of the good things outweigh the bad.

Pros

It's a good quality product! We have used it multiple time.

Cons

It is very stressful when no one bids on an item in the time frame you need it to and you have to go in individually to each item that hasn't been bid on and prolong the end time. Every time you change the time and then try to go back, it goes away from the screen that is "open items without bids." That is frustrating when you're in a time crunch! Also, the response time on chat for answers to questions is way too long.

### "Makes an auction fundraiser easy"

Compared with using a variety of desktop programs, this is too easy (especially for the low annual price).

Pros

Integrates all aspects of an auction fundraiser (donors, donations, bidders, checkout, and financials). It’s easy to use, which is great for a volunteer organization. Customer service is very helpful and always improving the product based on our suggestions.

Cons

There are little quirks that you get used to quickly. For example, to edit a donor address, you need to click an edit button before changes and then a save it before moving on.

Very easy software to use and wonderful support team to assist with any questions promptly.

Pros

We chose to use Auctria after seeing a wonderful online auction site for Lotusland using the software. We purchased the Diamond + Launch option and it was wonderful. Not only was it easy to upload item descriptions and images, the support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and the team was outstanding. We reached our fundraising goal . . . and more. We would thoroughly recommend this software.

Cons

I think that because we purchased the Launch option we received assistance in figuring out any features that otherwise we may have struggled with - like getting the catalog to only display 2 items side by side, and getting the navigation bar at the bottom as well as at the top of the page.

I have used Auctria for several years. We are a very small non-profit and I have multiple duties in addition to development. I used a larger, better known, on-line auction company which was expensive. I looked at several sites and was very pleased with the ease of use of Auctria( it was Charity Auction Organizer Then). I loved the assistance provided at the beginning and to this date, my questions are answered almost immediately. Setting up pages is easy, easier than the more popular site I had used. The linkage through stripe has been great and easy to manage. I tell anyone who asks how pleased I am with the site and I cannot imagine why anyone would spend more money for less service. I highly recommend the site!

Pros

Ease of use. The reporting features are great. Tech assistance is quick and friendly. Love the sample pages.

Cons

Sometimes I have difficulty linking pages in a way that works for me and some design elements are difficult for me to add. With that being said, please know I am not that tech davy.

Can't imagine not having used Auctria, it would have been much more stressful

Pros

Everything is in one spot - really helped us stay organized before, during and after the event! Printing bid sheets, recording live auction bids, getting financial reports were all made easy, helping our event go really smoothly!

Cons

When checking out the bill for how much a person owed versus how much they paid had already paid became a little confusing

Pros

I retired from a career of managing a team of programmers who created software for a Fortune 500 company, plus a part of my job was choosing and implementing software from various vendors. The support we receive from Auctria exceeds any that I experienced in my 35 years in the business world. As a volunteer now for a non profit, I could not be happier with both the quality of the software and the exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!

Cons

I wish for more robust reporting. It would be nice to have the ability to create formulas in the reports. Also creating the format for communications, bid cards, displays, etc., is challenging for some of our users who do not have previous experience.

Easy to manage my auction event with this software. Customer service help and support were available and ready to assist. I would recommend this product for powerusers who are committed to thorough use for maximum benefit.

Pros

Easy to navigate and follow prompts. The tutorials and help sections provide solutions and ideas for customizing and maximizing the event. Love the dashboard and the interconnectivity of the categories reducing double entry.

Cons

The email templates are a bit clunky and hard to modify. Also, some of the export/import data templates need to have more options to integrate sections of data the user might want as opposed to what the software thinks the user might want.

Really great.

Pros

The price was right for the level of risk we were taking - i.e. if the auction didn't up doing well we weren't investing thousands of dollars in overhead. Also the interfaces for items and bids were easy to navigate.

Cons

I wish I could have changed the 'loading' logo from the Auctria logo to my own because the logo immediately looks like a fundraiser / charity which doesn't align with my brand. I wish there was a way to immediately see an overview of sold items and which items weren't paid for yet after the auction ended.
