M.D. Medical Practice Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "CareCloud EHR" January 13, 2017 1.0 Poor experience had to call IT/customer service numerous times and did not get anything achieved. Lots of glitches and needs reloading; see cons below. Do not recommend at all due to cost and functionality. Pros e-prescribing copies previous notes. Cons Doesn't have appropriate medical terminology too many glitches and causes freezes, loss of information typed, etc. Too many buttons to click individually, copies previous notes but also copies previous orders associated with it that can't be deleted. Pros CareCloud functions like any old app you may find on your smartphone. The set up is very intuitive and you know where to click to go find things. It is also web based so easy to access from wherever you may be! Cons CareCloud is, at it's root, still an EMR and has the hiccups that we see in all of them. I love their communication and willingness to grow and change with what their customers want. Cons I don't like that all the charts are available for everyone in the office to see. That the clients are available to anyone who can log in to view. I also struggle with the charts - they seem so intuitive but they are frustrating and more code work than just fill in the blanks. We clearly stated that we would be an iPad based clinic and providers would be using iPads exclusively in the exam rooms....no problem, they said, its fully compatible in fact designed with the iPad in mind....but during the initial setup training calls, we are told the iPad functionality is a READ ONLY format. What good is that? And, so we told them we could not use their software because like we had stated in the very first demo, we are an iPad based clinic. They turned our account over to collections. Would highly alert you to reconsider signing with a company that does not stand by what they say and will lie to win your business. Buyer Beware! Review Source sS sheila S. My staff and I have loved to use this system since day 1. We never thought to try another system all these years. Pros it is most user friendly system I have worked with in over 30 years. The notes module and reporting are awesome ... September 28, 2017 4.0 Pros The software is easy to use and navigate. Finding info for patient such as op reports and testing is easy and efficient. Cons Not as many features as I have seen on other systems. The value for the money is good because it's less costly, but is missing some extras that I've seen on other Billing software that has made a huge impact. Review Source AS Adam S. I have spent weeks interviewing new systems and then having demonstration after demonstration. CareCloud's flow really stands above the rest of the pack. Cons We are strictly a behavioral health operation and we did have difficulty integrating our therapists into the system. The buy in from our therapists was very slow and their use of the system was sporadic. In addition, for our smaller practice CareCloud's cost was a difficult adjustment. Review Source BH Bethany H. CareCloud is very simple and easy to use, has most of the features the legacy systems have, without all the layers of people to get through to fix a small problem. It is not perfect, none of them are and if the doctors are happy using CareCloud then it is a win-win for both of us. Best part for me is the reporting and data analysis. Managing a practice takes data so you can tell how you are performing. I get all the information I need when I want it, without going through a third party to get a printed report. Yahoo! September 10, 2015 4.0 Pros The user friendly nature of CareClouds App software manages to make the provider confident that they are documenting everything to meet their own needs as well as the needs of meaningful use. Cons I would like to see the corrected claim with the alerts at the same time if possible. I know it would not print if it did not pass, but to see the claim in the background would help me visualize it better. If in the original billing we had recent coding expectations, including, HCPCs Codes prompted individually for each insurance payer that would be nice. That might take too much memory. If there is an easier way to attach medical notes pertinent to the billing that would be great. They also want a hand drawing at times which is in our notes. Review Source MS Michelle S. April 17, 2014 5.0 Pros I like the transparency, accountability, and user-friendliness, especially compared to ADPAdvancedMD, e-ClinicalWorks, and AthenaHealth. I have used over 20 software vendors and love the functionality of CareCloud. The system goes above and beyond what their competitors offer. I also really like the collection app and how they have their claims app set up. Cons The EDI department. I take it on myself for all my clients. The support team is outstanding. The software itself is intuitive and easy to use. There is total transparency as to reports and analytics, which was really, really important to us. The denial process is logical. I also appreciate that they actively request and listen to feedback - and then actually make changes. For example, after feedback from clients, CareCloud revised their patient statements to make them much easier to understand. I'm glad we chose CareCloud and would recommend them to other practices. It is easy to organize clinical data according to an individual provider's likes and dislikes. It took us about two months to become very comfortable with their system. Now I can finish a note in less than 15mins. The support staff has been nothing but more than helpful in providing quick responses to my many questions in getting adjusted to a new EMR! Our billing manager retired, so we moved to in office billing. Dr. Suarez heard many good reports about Care Cloud, so he decided to go with the company. We purchased in May of 2012 and the implementation was a little bit difficult, but once adjusted, it has been great. The customer support is very good and very helpful.
