General Manager Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Best Decision Ever" November 8, 2017 5.0 Easy access to all my HR, Payroll and benefits information at a click of a button. I would highly recommend this software for busy office administrators to simplify day to day tasks. I like knowing that I can access the software remotely when I am traveling and I get the same information as I would if I used it in the office. The accessibility is one of the best things this software has to offer. Pros The software is easy to use and makes things so much more simple in day to day operations. I find it more user friendly then the competitors software I have used in the past. June 21, 2018 5.0 Convenience more than anything. Pros I can use ADP from my phone. I am able to clock in, view my hours and see my pay without anywhere and anytime. It's very convenient. Cons The software doesn't always pick up my punches so my manager has to manually enter them. if i can't remember the exact time of my punch, I have to guess and I lose time. " December 26, 2019 1.0 We moved over to ADP TotalSource (PEO) from ADP Run and I'll begin my review by saying we're not happy at all. Let's start with the price: ADP TotalSource is very expensive and I can now say the cost does not justify the service received. Service: My sales representative "forgot" to cancel our previous RUN service when she moved us over to TotalSource. Every time we called for live representative, we were never able to get a hold of our "dedicated" representative. I would leave voicemails, but no one checks those. They did call back whenever I followed up with an email. Closing thoughts: Save the headache and find a newer, more up-to-date PEO service provider. We moved over to a much better company and we're happy. In addition to saving about half of what we were paying ADP, we're receiving better service and we're also using a user-friendly online platform. Pros There isn't much to like. I guess since this field is a requirement, I'd say they do make sure their platform is compliant. Cons The TotalSource online platform is ancient.. it's like as if someone designed it to be not-user-friendly on purpose. In today's day and age, it's expected for a company like ADP to provide a user-friendly experience. Review Source MH Martha H. I cannot say enough bad things about this sorry company. If you are considering ADP as your PEO, PLEASE RUN TO ANOTHER PEO. Pros There is nothing I like about ADP. Nothing. TotalSource made everything really easy. I am not able to track hours, OT, payroll and benefits. Cons I have no real con about this software other than the customer service. It is sometime really hard to get in contact with anyone when help is needed. Cons The UX/UI feels like it's straight out of the 80's. ADP would highly benefit from bringing an experienced design team on to help overhaul their product. Great reporting, but difficult to customize. Cons Cost is based on a percentage of payroll, so when you have a good month and pay higher commissions, your fees with ADP go up. Reason for choosing ADP TotalSource Ease of use, ability to supposedly have the buying power of 250,000 employees for insurance rates. Onboarding is a breeze, but it should also be a breeze on our end to leave Pros Easy to use when I was an employee but once I left the company I couldn’t access my account. Cons Self-termination so I can transfer 401k funds. Since I am unable to find the contact who set up my payroll (she may have left the company) no one can terminate me and I can’t rollover my 401k with Voya Financial. July 11, 2019 5.0 ADP also allows employees to request time off, and employers to approve or decline. Highly recommend for small and large companies. Pros The designers of ADP knew what they were doing when they created it! ADP has everything an employer needs in a payroll company. Clocking in and out is SUPER simple and creates no hassle! As an employer you are able to do full employee evaluations, as well as allow them to self evaluate! You can also assign employees to review each other which is a great option. The best feature of ADP is that employees has access to their employee profile allowing them to see their pay rate, date of hire, view and print out pay stubs, etc which is easier than having to go through an HR department. We are a small company that has been hovering around 50 employees and still find the value that a PEO can provide. At time the assistance you get can be lacking depending on the associate assigned to your account and it took us almost a year to get a refund for a cancelled payroll check that they withdrew from our account. Overall they have functioned the way we needed them to and do not have any problems that their competitors would most likely have as well. Pros Many more options than previous payroll software. Pros There are too many pros to write about here. From being able to print off past statements, to being able to view current and past benefits this is an amazing program. The customer service has always been amazing to work with. Cons The only issue that I have ever had with them was trying to get a tax issue on my paycheck resolved, there was a lack of communication on the part of customer service, and it took much too long to get the issue resolved. If it's bigger than 40-50 people or you want something with real detail, I wouldn't recommend it. Pros It does the basic job of tracking logging in and out and employee record keeping. It's organized in a basic and sometimes easily accessible design. Cons This software is a low bar for what you can expect for the price. It wasn't as detailed in employee information as I'd sometimes would've liked. The fonts are smaller so it's less accessible than other competitors. It didn't leave room for variability options. Pros ADP totalsource is very easy to use for users and admins alike but is expensive compared to other products in the market. It is a comprehensive employee database with easy to access information. Cons The reporting is very extensive but not always easy to use and can become bogged down with too much information. We pay for our health insurance directly through totalsource and there is no easy way to pull a single report that shows total payroll + benefits cost for the whole company by employee. There are individual employee PDF reports that show total compensation but these are not very helpful for analysis. March 7, 2019 4.0 Pros The user experience with ADP solutions is far better than our previous PEO provider, a large competitor to ADP. Through TotalSource/Workforce now, you can easily see your employment profile, benefits, retirement, employer sponsored programs, ongoing education, and many other useful planning and professional development tools. Cons Upon first sign-up, the different ADP product portals are a little confusing between TotalScource, Workforce Now, MyKPlan, RUN, MyADP, etc. Sometimes the e-mails weren't clear or the links were incorrect and you were trying to create an account or login to the wrong portal.
