When things change, ADP sends electronic communications to prepare. Cons No longer the personalized service I was once accustomed too. The is my biggest "beef" with ADP. I like it one I had one point of contact. We've only ever had issues with payroll personnel and that was due to turnover. Our HR rep has been the same for many years and we value her input and knowledge. Pros Ability to reach a person when needing assistance; willingness to work with us to resolve financial issues. Cons The payroll is not very user friendly and difficult to find reports; Too many emails sent that it's difficult to know when there is something to really pay attention to. Usually our representatives are top notch, but every so often we get a bad one. ADP usually figures this out and that person is quickly replaced. Pros ADP makes payroll processing an easy process. I can sleep at night knowing that everything is taken care of. Cons ADP should handle tasks that require more effort or are outside of our usual responsibilities, rather than expecting us to do them. In the end our Co. has downsized and the fees were not manageable. Pros I liked having specialized people do help with the different aspects of the business. I also liked for a majority of the time my HR and Payroll reps were very responsive and very helpful with all of our needs. Cons What I liked least is there was a portion of the time that my Payroll rep was not responsive at all. From the Admin perspective, it is also very user-friendly. Cons The cost is high for a nonprofit like ours. The market has other options for similar products for lower costs. However, their customer support has been inconsistent. My experience with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) varied widely—from an excellent HRBP and payroll advisor, to one who provided questionable guidance, and finally to a newer HRBP who frequently had to consult with senior staff before offering support, often resulting in delays. Pros Quick access to resources and forms. Processing payroll was smooth, and submitting a ticket was easy. Cons customer service response time was an issue. Pros The healthcare plans and health plan costs are better and below the cost of anything else we have been able to find for our business....which allows me to pass on these benefits to my employees. Cons My ERC submission is taking a VERY LONG time which is not ADP's fault, but would really like regular follow-up from them letting me know things are still progressing. I often am frustrated with the portal - where I need to go, why I can't get a phone call. Also, why can't you be transparent with fees? Pros The HR advise is priceless. There is no way I can stay on top of the changing labor laws by myself. Cons When you need something, rather than a call you get a link to a case. You have to go into your portal and if there are more questions, you email. I really want to have a conversation. Pricing is another sore spot. Why can't I get an itemized list of what my payment is covering - how much is unemployment, how much am I paying ADP for their service. Seems ADP doesn't want me to know what they cost. Cons I wish there were more offerings for health insurance. I feel that ours is too high but when factored with all the other benefits, I will be happy to renew again and again. Questions about each business area are available and we utilize frequently. Cons It is expensive for a non-profit school. However, the benefits far outweigh the cost.
