### "ADP TotalSource - I can't recommend them enough!"

ADP TotalSource has helped us to manage our human resources efficiently and professionally for 16 years! They were a shining light in the darkness during Covid shutdowns. ADP helped us to manage layoffs when closures first occurred and we were forced to downsize temporarily, as well as to navigate the PPP Loan Application process with easily accessible reports customized for this purpose.

Pros

ADP TotalSource makes it easy to offer top quality HR services and benefits to our employees. I am able to print reports, make changes and obtain information quickly and efficiently from their Human Resource Information System. Best of all, their representatives are just a phone call away if I have payroll questions, legal concerns, or safety issues!

Cons

There has been a major push to go paperless, and reports that used to arrive with our payroll now must be accessed online and printed in house.

Overall we have been satisfied and our account representatives have all been great. Also, we have had access to good HR advice.

Pros

It works well, and customer service is good. And our account reps have all been great. Also, we are happy with our health insurance.

Cons

Pricing is an opaque, and we have sometimes had problems issuing bonus checks. Recently we began receiving an email title “Payroll Invoice” which is a little clearer on pricing.

I didn't actually do the payroll - I think that is an HR thing. But, I do use it to navigate and see my paycheck every two weeks.

Pros

This product is easy to use. It's easy to see everything needed to see. And easy to understand the breakdown of my paycheck and understand where all of my money is going.

Cons

I cannot say there was anything that I did not/do not like about ADP. Except for the fact I cannot remember my password to get into it half the time haha.

Very positive. Even after we added an HR professional to our team, we kept TotalSource for over a year. As a department of one, the ADP HR partner was great to have during transition.

Pros

Before the company had an on-staff HR professional, it was a great help to have an HR partner with whom we worked. Also, the product was very easy to use for us to process payroll and to access reports we needed for various reasons.

Cons

RE: training options, it seemed the audience was more office and most of our employees are in the trades out on job sites. We were, therefore, unable to fully take advantage of that benefit.

Good. Payroll processing is simple and clear. Employee profiles are easy to access and update. Time off accruals and balances are easy to see and understand. Benefit enrollment is simple and clear. Employee experience is simple. The layout is easy to navigate.

Pros

Employee profiles are easy to move around and find on an individual basis any information you need.

Cons

The Support case system. It is hard to tell what is the most recent additions to the case. It just isn't built for clear documented discussions on issues. It's like you found a ticket system and just bolted it on and didn't check it out to see what it looks like on the user end. Also reporting could be better. Things like adding date ranges for data should be easier to set up for custom reports. And if we need a report created it takes weeks to get it done. No fast turnaround for special reports. Also need to improve during benefit enrollment the setting up of beneficiaries and dependents and the distinction. Employees get it messed up and then have to go back and make changes when they set up dependents as beneficiaries. Maybe some additional detail or walk through questions to help them determine which is which.

We've been with ADP for over 5 years. I think the experience has been enhanced by our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\]. She has always been very responsive and helpful. ADP has ensured we always stay compliant with all labor regulations so overall I've had a very positive experience.

Pros

ADP TotalSource is an extension of the Biorep Team. Being a small company, ADP TotalSource provides a professional HR platform that we can trust and rely on.

Cons

I feel the billing is not transparent and easy to follow. If I want to see how much an employee is costing the company, I have to have my ADP account manager do custom reporting for me. It's not easy to gather all the information including the costs of benefits, 401k retirement company contributions, wages, etc.

ADP offered a clever solution that was money-neutral for the company but put money in the employee pockets by switching to a high-deductible healthcare plan but offering employees an HSA. Given our workforce is very young, they are not going to the doctor too often so the money in the HSA is for employees to keep if they are healthy.

My overall experience has been rather well, which is why we have been a customer for so long. Our Account Executive is great to work with! Certain departments, like the tax department, need some work.

Pros

All in one platform for payroll, HR and benefits. You can onboard anyone anywhere in the U.S. at any time. Also, there is a wealth of resources and expertise. The technology is very good and easy to use.

Cons

There are so many departments and contacts to reach out to for each specific subject that I think this leads to a lack of accountability. Accountability as in certain departments, like tax, not responding to emails and not resolving issues timely. Also, I the admin fees are hidden in the workers comp rates so you never really know what your paying in admin fees.

I have used ADPTS with 3 different companies. I will not switch to another PEO/HRIS system.

Pros

I love the ease of ADP TotalSource, the confidence I have that I will always be informed of new laws and regulations, and the reporting capabilities. It is an all-in-one product that takes a lot of the hard work off my shoulders.

Cons

ADPTS is slowly making changes to its featured based on customer feedback. I wish their calendar capabilities were able to sync with google/outlook, but I am sure it is something they are working on.

Overall it has been a good platform, ease of use and extremely helpful with empoyee taxes and payments.

Pros

Whenever I deal with my HR Business Partner, she has been able to walk with me through the problem I am facing and have been able to clearly explain how to resolve it. When reaching out my HR Business Partner, \[sensitive content hidden\] she is quick to respond, easy to understand and patient with my learning.

Cons

Sometimes I've waited 2 weeks for the Tax department to respond to a Case I opened. 1 has never been responded to. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been extremely difficult to reach and rarely is helpful with the explanations.

Good, they always try and make things right and take care of things in a timely fashion. Highly recommended for smaller companies.

Pros

One stop shopping. benefits, payroll, hr, 401k all in one package. Can always get a hold of someone on the payroll and benefits side. The representatives are fabulous! Always cheerful, and helpful. Also appreciate that the representatives are long term employees....other companies have lots of turnover which makes it hard for knowledge transfer. Also, it's cost effective these days.

Cons

Custom reporting is tricky...would like to see more standardized reports. It would be better to have the payroll billing reports to upload to the system faster.

Your support when calling in is good. They are always able to assist.

EVerify photo matching was a big issue but i think its been fixed. I think ADP should offer mailing checks to employee homes if there is an issue with their banking.
