Fast, friendly and professional, from HR concerns to payroll

Pros

Our company has worked with ADP for close to 20 years. During this time, we have had 3 different reps, all 3 have been outstanding. Easy to work with and always with quick responses

Cons

Can't really think of any negatives, maybe a little expensive, but very knowledgeable

It's been a great experience. I have had great relationships with my representatives and team. Everyone is helpful and willing to be a resource when needed. I definitely recommend creating a relationship with your dedicated team. They are there to help you, and the more you share with them about your needs, the better.

Pros

Having all our HR and payroll in one spot with a great team behind it is easy. It makes my job easier and more streamlined. To have ADP as a background help, I don't have to worry about the nitty-gritty of HR and Payroll; I trust my team and what they do for us.

Cons

Sometimes, not all of my representatives are available, and urgent matters aren't answered in a timely manner. But this can be resolved just by calling and speaking to someone.

It has been good overall. I appreciate how much effort has been put into how the dashboard has been setup.

Pros

The dashboard, I like how it has a lot of info right there with no need to search for it.

Cons

sometimes things are hard to find, like recently I needed to find our company's EMR and that was not available. I had to create a support ticket to get that info. The response to that ticket was prompt.

This is an excellent overall value. I am fully utilizing the resources provided, including safety consultants, legal advisers, handbook writing, and payroll and benefits. The resources are robust, and the team supporting my company is friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros

The ADP system is reliable and offers excellent reporting, flexibility, and accuracy. Beyond payroll, the system easily allows for legal compliance. ADP has a wealth of legal experts and database managers who can help a business of any size reduce administrative time.

Cons

As is common with any HRIS provider, you can get in touch with an individual who does not have the answers to your questions. I have found that representatives can let me know they are unsure and find someone who can assist them.

Pros

Genuinely smart and kind people who work there. Regarding their platform, it is easy to navigate and use.

Cons

Depending on the issue at hand, sometimes it takes awhile to get ahold of the right person, which in an emergency can get quite frustrating.

Pros

Our Business Partner and, Payroll specialist do a wonderful job assisting us and making the whole process flow smoothly. Responsive and quick to resolve issues, we know any issues will be handled quickly, professionally with a friendly attitude. Our Business Partners always do a great job helping with making Benefit selections and open enrollment. The on-line system is fairly straight forward, and there is always our team we can contact if we run into any challenges.

Cons

Pricing model being percentage based does mean that when we raise salaries ADP's fee increases the same percentage.

Overall my experience is solid. Any issues I've ever had were quickly overcome through the attention and efforts of my reps: \[sensitive content hidden\]. They both are fabulous - great assets to ADP.

Pros

The support I receive from my HR and Payroll representatives.

Cons

The portal is quite old as far as UI design. When trying to generate custom reports, it's very difficult and not the least bit intuitive.

Our direct rep, \[sensitive content hidden\], has always been supportive and would exhaust all methods to assist with our needs. She is very knowledgeable with ADP TotalSource and was one of the reasons we continued to use ADP.

Pros

Fairly easy to use platform that was all inclusive (payroll, insurance, etc).

Cons

Reports can be slow to load. Would like to see more options for simple default reports.

ADP offers a variety of products that fits our needs. The employees are always very courteous.

There is always some sort of fee to use different areas of the system. Which I understand as being part of their business model.

It's ok, but expensive. It would be better if the prices weren't tied to salaries; as our salaries are much higher than the average

Pros

Benefit and Payroll Compliance. It's helpful to not have to make payments to the IRS and TN Dept of Revenue, as well as the negotiating with Benefit providers.

Cons

Hard to reach my specific assigned people. But the general customer service line is great

We had the service for several years and decided to see if it was competitive. With Paycheck's proposal, we realized that ADP needed to make adjustments. We contacted our sales rep and she right away helped us do a fair comparison and improved our prices. We decided to stay with ADP.

At times, inconsistent information provide to both the administrator and to the employee. The information provided contradicts what has already been told. This has happen on several instances. At times, feel the "dealing with big company".

Pros

Good product for companies with limited employee resources. Can refer certain employee questions to Mylife.

Cons

1) Employee benefits are can not be allocated based upon employee "home department". 2) Total source is expensive to small organizations. 3) We were looking at implementing time clock functions into our processes. Based upon cost, went with different company. We have 50 employee of which 10 use time clock. Quote was based on total employees, which includes seasonal coaches/substitutes and short term employees, who are not hourly. Create a different system for smaller companies-which seems to be your sweet spot.

50/50 Some departments are very well run and some are very bad

Pros

Our Hr and Payroll reps are wonderful and helpful Upgraded platfom is very easy to find things During COVID the reporting was spot on

Cons

Tax department and 401 (k) department are horrible. Mylife Advisor is not as expected with help
