Pros It was designed by accountants for accountants. Cons There are many workarounds to learn. For example when you are doing multiple month bank reconciliations you must get out of reconciliation and back in to have all factors correct. Also, the system could have a more modern look and feel. Pros Very user-friendly and apt for small business use. We use it for one of our new online business. Sync with our local bank and we love the users invite feature where shareholders and our accountant can 'collaborate' easily, even when using ios app. Cons If only Kashoo has the tracked invoicing and reminders feature, that will be great. This account is shared with our accountant, who will then file and manage accordingly. Syncing with our local bank also works well. Everything is laid out efficiently. Everything also works as expected. Mistakes are easy to spot and correct. Cons Lack of support with accountants who actually use them. The app allows me to easily upload receipts and to make manual adjustments. Cons It does not sync real time account balances with your bank. You have to do that manually. As a first time user I was looking for a sharp, snappy system like this. I’m very happy with Kashoo. Pros Easy layout. The app and desktop program syncs well. Customer service. Bank reconciliation. Quick to sync. Reports look clean and well presented. Multi user function. My accountant can log in and view, fix up things. Quick and easy. Cheapest on the market. Cons No automatic email for remittance for bills once paid. Invoice template choice is fairly limited. You may need an accountant to help you get through the first month to match up and balance the month. Wish it gave a full profit and loss year to report it shows on the dashboard. Pros Very easy to use, most of the interface is self explanatory and set up very well. Does your accounting neatly. Everything can be exported as PDF Cons Subscription Based - I'm not a fan of it, but at least it isn't super expensive. Cons I really dislike that the multi-currency support completely cripples the Mobile App. It's forced us to use a less efficient workflow, which loses critical data related to exchange rates. It has some good functions. The fact that it was free was the biggest draw to me. Cons It has some functions that are good but overall it felt very convoluted. It was not as easy to navigate as I thought it would be. Cons Some features I liked from the software I was using before are currently missing in Kashoo. You have to take the time to play with the platform to get comfortable. President Used the software for: ### "Excellent Accounting System" September 23, 2015 5.0 Flexibility is good in how transactions are processed - much less restrictive than Simply Accounting. I like not having to worry about backups and having historical (previous year) data live is great. Reporting could be better but I have learned to work with it. Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss work well - an A/R Aged Trial Balance might be nice but isn't a big deal. I feel confident Kashoo will provide all the security needed and are dedicated to me and to their system. Well Done!
