Comments: For business consultants like me, it is a great tool to recommend as well as offer it as a service to our clients, especially if their Customer Service department is not automated. However, there are deficiencies and also there is no coaching/customer support available live at all hours (we operate in a different time zone GMT+2). Overall, its free version does not give many major benefits, not even on trial. The reports' issue is a major drawback. I still recommend it to clients, but when i mention the drawbacks, they are reluctant to go to the paid packages.

Pros: 1. Its connectivity with other platforms, software and social media - TIME SAVING 2. The ability to assign jobs (even in the free version) 3. Seeing the progress of a lead to becoming a client, as well as having total sale amount per client

Cons: 1) Very time consuming to learn 2) Cannot answer privately to a lead coming from Facebook (have to return back to the page) 3) Does not connect to other major social media 4) Its first paid package is still costly (from the small business person's point of view) 5) No reports or download of data availability (at least in the free version) 6) The free version allows only 100 entries so for heavy Facebook traffic of leads, we cannot access beyond one week!

Pros: I don't know. Was unable to use the software after a brief interlude.

Cons: It came up with a screen focussed on getting me to invite other people. I couldn't figure out how to get past that screen. Before I got stuck there, I did try it a bit. It seemed OK.

Pros: I love how self contained it is. Each client can get their own workgroup with folder repository, tasking system, message board.

Cons: Their customer support is based out of Russia, and the time difference can make it difficult to communicate. I have also run into a lot of issues with dates in exported task reports don't match what is actually showing in the system (they will be off by a day because of some time zone setting that I can't figure out).

Overall: It's a good hub for a remote work

Pros: We've been working with Free plan Bitrix for a few years. The free plan is one of the best in the market for small business like mine. We work in shifts and its important to easily communicate between all our team. Bitrix has saved us lots of time and has been keeping everything organized and error free. It's very complete for a free plan. I love it.

Cons: This is a free plan so of course there are some features missing, however that's expectable. I think it could be more user friendly do Administrator.

Overall: Time saving; wonderfull tool to keep my business organized; easy communication between teams and task creating.

It was a good solution for communication management, documents management, and simple CRM.

Pros: It was a fairly good system until they deleted the entire account while I was out on extended leave. Support was OK, functionality was reasonable.

Cons: The fact that over a year's worth of data was deleted by the company. They only notified the administrator & not the other 5 users on the account. Nothing is perfect, but deleting 18 months of data after 6 weeks of "inactivity" is absurd. People go away on sabbatical, maternity leave, have extended medical leave or bereavement. The emails they did say hid the warning messaging so far in the subject & email, that you wouldn't have been able to tell them from marketing emails from the company. Their customer support was RUDE, unapologetic, and defensive.

Pros: This on-line platform have several options that can be used for on-line and standard retail shop. Also can be used for sales from the vehicle. There is option for a customized web-page for orders or questions. Automatic billing is also a nice touch.

Cons: One crucial feature that is missing is a good CRM module with history of contacts and offers for different clients. If You have standard clients this is a must have.

Overall: Nearly perfect solution for retail teams in different places (cities, countries,...). Also, a web contact page is a fantastic feature, for on-line shop.

Pros: Bitrix24 has a large assortment of features and collaboration opportunities. The built in CRM feature is great. Bitrix24 also has a built in web mail service which I tried but found that send email from Bitrix24 to my regular email was easier. The task sharing is easy and is inclusive fro everyone on the team. There are different levels for access which is great for separating different levels of the project.

Cons: There is so many features which makes it difficult to learn and it takes some time. I prefer Projects rather than work groups but I have learned to understand the Bitrix24 setup. I would like to be able to click a button to add a new project.

Overall: I like the collaboration and the overall grade of this software. I also like the free account so we could try out the software on a small project and upgrade as needed.

Pros: Highly configurable. One stop solution for entire company from team communication to project management. I was mainly using free version but was able to many stuff even in free vesion.

Cons: Brower loading is quite high. Takes time to load system. Also, lots of configuration required. Hard for small size company like me to pick and use.

Overall: Team communication and project management under one roof.

Comments: bitrix24 is good for medium small company, because they have all that company need on that time. but for large company that need more spesific hr task, sometime functionality is not there.

Pros: easy to use more to groupware for collaborate with other employee have agile workflow for approval things

Cons: mobile feature just have basic function, still need to do from web cannot handle advance HR task cannot rely on support team for urgent things, because need time to reply the ticket

After using much more expensive database/communication systems, I am thoroughly impressed with the Bitrix24 ease to set up, query, communicate, and SO MUCH MORE!

Comments: This is a MAJOR solution for our faith based NPO. We are just getting set up and started in the digital database world, communicating with leaders all living 3 hours apart on separate campuses and setting up professional looking mass emails to internal and external key stakeholders. LOVE that I can manage all of this from any computer anywhere in the world!

Pros: Ease in importing contacts, customizable database fields, social links, the mobile app, and much more all in the FREE version.

Cons: Not all the videos fully answer my questions, however, I went to the email support and got GREAT answers and in 2 days time at the longest. I would like a list of people using Bitrix24 who live nearby me or to know about meet ups with other users. There is a map that showed me nearby users - but I can't contact them.

Comments: When a client sets a task for several months, there is always the risk of losing the history of communication and the agreements that have been reached over time. All this can lead to misunderstanding or even conflict with the customer. These risks are very well understood by our company. Therefore, it was decided to transfer communication with customers to a new level and exclude any preconditions for misunderstanding with the help of Bitrix24. Now everything works clearly and smoothly and we can not worry that some information will be lost.

Comments: I would still recommend anyone that might be getting their first CRM/intranet to have a look at Bitrix. The free version (which has great value) can get you up and running quickly and with no strain on your finances.

Pros: Great for team communications Great intranet Allows you to place a chat widget on your website Great value for the money

Cons: Bringing up the menu can look like you are sitting in an airplane with tons of options and setting. The CRM part could be a bit user friendly.

It does a lot, maybe even too much!

Pros: The ability to scale into different functional areas as companies grow. The product is very extensible, well thought out and lends itself extremely well to smaller growing companies as well as mid-sized established companies.

Cons: Just too much to chew for smaller shops or start-up companies. Very difficult for small co's to take on even when they can see the advantage of having a tool they can grow in to.

Overall: This is a stellar tool for mid-size companies or smaller shops on the rise and growing. It fits neatly in that space where you have a little money to spend on worthwhile products but not the ludicrous amounts of money you'd have to spend for "enterprise class" tools such as those from Oracle and SAP. That said, for smaller companies or start-ups it is way too complex and has far too great a learning curve. Small shops simply don't have the time and resources to dedicate to learning a tool as feature rich and comprehensive as Bitrix. All in all though, if you are keen to get value for your money, you'd be hard pressed to find more value for money than that offered by Bitrix 24.

Recommendations to other buyers: The same for all software: 1) Make sure you are solving the right problem before making a buying decision. E.g., If your HR team can't seem to figure out how to add value in your company's recruiting process, the problem probably isn't the tool their using... 2) Make sure the tool fits your needs, abilities to implement and support and your budget.

Comments: What a fun and effective CRM product. This software is easy to use. It has kept me focused and driven for the last two years. All of my clients, contacts and notes are in one place. I love being able to schedule the next "to-do" for each client account. When I log in each day, I have a list of calls, meeting and follow-ups already planned. This software helps me stay in-touch with clients and potential clients. I would be lost without it!

Cons: Not for real project management. Probably fine for freelancers and graphic designer types.

Overall: I've looked everywhere for information on how to manage projects and how to include resources. From what I can tell, projects only exist as workgroups, and resources that are not human users are not possible. So, unless you only do work on your own computer, this won't work. Need to schedule the use of a conference room, a truck? Need to include a contractor in a task without giving them access to the platform? Not going to happen. Also, doesn't seem to work for identifying clients associated with a project or task. So, I wonder, who at Capterra actually tested this? Have you ever actually managed a project? I just wasted three hours trying to figure this one out.

Comments: We have been using Bitrix as a coordination tool for our small business group and as a CRM tool. The features of Bitrix are astounding for the price you pay, for small teams up to 5 people it is free. The downside of this is the compexity that not all team members were fond of.

Pros: Robust. Can integrate a lot of smart automation. Streamline. Fairly easy to use.

Cons: We hired someone familiar with the tool to implement it into our team. I think that it would have been hard for our team of creatives to learn all the cool tricks of the tool without someone experienced showing us how. There's some set up on the front end, but once you get it going, it'll save a lot of time.

Overall: It does a lot for us for organizing where clients and potential clients are in the pipeline. It does a great job with assigning tasks to staff as well as you can building workflow funnels and have task assignment automated when someone else completes a task.

Recommendations to other buyers: Hire someone who knows the tools well to set up, train, and implement it into your team.

Comments: I used this for my small business - I was the only user. Bitrix24 made keeping track of all of my projects and clients a breeze. The interface was user-friendly and there were a surprising amount of features for it to be free. It was a great tool to use!

Comments: Using the CRM on an individual basis was extremely helpful (and free). There is a lot of functions that most other free CRMs don't offer - an ROI calculator, a won/lost funnel, a work in progress toolbar, and more. It even offers email tracking -- the only thing that is a (very, very) slight inconvenience is the emails that you send through Bitrix will have a signature on the bottom saying it was sent with a free CRM.

Great features, I'd it's what you need.

Comments: In my quest for free marketing software, I came across Bitrix24, and as always I was impressed by the features¿ and the Price. So, I signed up and BAM I was met with a dashboard field with features and details and that chat box at the right-hand corner. I got overwhelmed and closed the tab. A week later I was ready to give it another try so I came back and took the time to go through the features but it was still too daunting. So, I closed the tab again. Not ready to give up on a free CRM, I downloaded the software thinking the clusters were only in the online version. I was wrong. Bitrix24 is packed with features I would normally be excited about but the interface is messy and the user experience made it hard to come back a fourth time, and even though I did, I still wish the dashboard was less overwhelming. Despite all the cons, Bitrix24 IS an amazing software. The CRM features are just as amazing as Hubspot CRM, I loved the workgroup segmentations as well as the ¿My Workspace¿ segmentation. The telephony feature and the webmail feature is amazing. The applications ¿Marketplace¿ offer lots of free tools that make Bitrix24 even better. The dashboard is less cluttered now, which is great as I am now able to play with all the features that attracted me in the first place, they still have a lot of work to do, as while the left side has been arranged to nice ¿pockets¿, the right side of the dashboard still needs some work.

Pros: The CRM and email marketing features are amazing so is the tasks, work mail, and the telephony feature.

Cons: There has been a major improvement in the interface, it is less cluttered than it used to be. Bit the right side of the dashboard is still a bit cluttered.

Recommendations to other buyers: Bitrix is full of features for small businesses, the free plan is amazing, however, the interface might take a while to get used to.

Pros: I love that the free version includes everything - telephony, email marketing, quotes, invoices, web forms, tasks projects and documents

Cons: All features are bundled together. There's no way to get CRM or project management separately.

Overall: I've tested a bunch of 'free' CRM options and found that only two (Bitrix24 and Hubspot) are really free. All others (Zoho, Insightly) severely limit their free versions. The number of features you get in Bitrix24 is truly astounding.

Overall: I'm a complete newbie when it comes to CRM's so when I found I had a need for one I had some very specific requirements:

1. Simple enough to use for a beginner
2. Powerful enough to do what I need
3. Scalable solution that can keep up with changing needs as my knowledge grows
4. Entry level price point that didn't put it out of reach for smaller operations

Bitrix24 shines on all counts even had some extras that I wasn't expecting to find. Most notably built in telephony.

I love that there is an option to rent a phone number from within the interface which allows for multiple extensions assigned to multiple users. What really impressed me though was the ability to have the phone system automatically direct calls from specific customers to the reps they have already been assigned to.

I've only just started using the software so I haven't dug really deep into what it can do yet but so far so good.

Of course there is a free version which allows access for up to 12 users so by the time I decide to upgrade to a paid subscription I will have no doubt whatsoever whether or not I'm willing to invest any money.

Comments: I wanted a small business crm , where I get a contact ,input a contact call contact and schedule a meeting and have it show up on the calendar. Along with me and contact receive confirming email. I have contacted the support and all I get is send a screen shot. Maybe it's way too complicated for me.

Pros: Sync with google, this a must for me. Lot of options to choose from in the free version.

Cons: Just too much on page, need to be able to hide modules I don't need. The calendar is buggy first events where 8 hrs off and the only way to get an event is to click on add event , wanted to add event straight from contacts or company. Need to have a template module. Seems I have to have a gmail draft temple wont help with mail merge. when adding a new events it don't send an email invite.

Recommendations to other buyers: Before roll out test it for a couple of days. Create a few fake accounts and try to invite yourself and and email etc. and see if it fits.

Pros: I really like the following features: companies, contacts, timeline for social interactions, internal search tool and the groups structure for segmentation of data. The software is user friendly and you can start using it quickly (free until 12 active users). Mobile App works fine.

Cons: Ongoing changes in the product for limiting features that were available before (loss of registered data). Reporting could be improved, mostly for sales forecasts (we gave up using this feature).

Comments: I used bitrix for a brief while as I was looking to find some kind of system for me and my business partner to work together online. The functionality is brilliant but I think it's aimed more at corporate businesses as in an intranet. Still enjoyed playing around it, I think if my business was larger than it would be perfect.

Pros: Brilliant for corporate businesses, that want a company internal intranet. Multi-Device friendly, Mac, Desktop, OS, Android. Fab. Internal chat system, brilliant, Lots of workspaces for different departments, loved the CRM inside, really nice and tracks everything. Extra applications can be installed but they would require testing first before installation.

Cons: Bit too complicated for my liking, or for a small start-up like mine. Admin functions, very limited, didn't really want to use everything. Found it tricky to hide and minimise all workspaces. Too much for one person to run on their own, would be best for a designated team. Applications, not all of them are created by Bitrix24, so trial and error with the apps.

Recommendations to other buyers: Recommend for a corporate company, that is looking to track their customers through CRM with the use of a telephone for this, very much like sales force but a bit too complicated for one individual. Brilliant application x Still better than Sugar CRM.

Comments: Bitrix24 is a great software with a lot of feautures, that even in its free version has a lot to offer to its users. We have been using is as a CRM, to manage clients, customers, leads, projects, contacts and even employees with great success. We have been using it in its free version, which offers all we need. If you are willing to pay, you are getting even better tools and more powerful options. It is a great software and we can only recommend it.

Cons: A bit complicated to get used to as user and admin

Comments: Pros: Functions are quite good and well thought of, when they work. Lots of modules and lots of functions such as HR, clocking in, telephone, etc.

Cons: Lots of additional costs to use their system including users, multiple sites, credits, trunking, the list goes on and on. The functions do not work all the time and they are constantly having to update it. Update doesn't work all the time and it gets stuck. Support is close to non existent which is extremely important when dealing with such a complex system as this one. It is also quite complicated to open up a ticket.

Overall, since it's built by foreigners, you are going to get a different expectation. They do not communicate well, the quality of code is not to our standards, etc.

Excellent value and overall feature set, just needs a bit of polishing the rough edges.

Comments: I've tried a number of project management/collaboration tools including Asana, Basecamp, Wrike, Wunderlist, Zoho, Salesforce, etc. I can't speak to the customer support of Bitrix, as I haven't contacted them. So far, the system has been fairly reliable. The desktop Windows client is somewhat limited compared to the web version, but for most offices, I can't imagine this is a big deal. I really haven't used the CRM or telephony options, so I can't comment on them.

Pros: 1. Price. The free version offers a fantastic feature set for up to 12 users. Better yet, when you finally outgrow the 12 seats, the pricing model is the cheapest I've seen with this level of all around features. How can you beat an unlimited employees option with 100gb of storage for only $99 per month? It blows away the competition when it comes to the pricing model. 2. The feature set is very deep. One of my problems with tools like Asana is that it is absolutely fantastic when it comes to project management for small groups, but lacks Gannt charts, CRM functionality, etc. Don't get me wrong, Asana is a great tool, but a limited one to a specific use case scenario. 3. The developers of Bitrix have added additional functionality via Zapier. Zapier is similar to IFTTT, only it a paid program to connect 3rd party apps. 4. One-time cost option for on-premise organizations that need to satisfy specific regulatory or security requirements. Can add additional users to the platform for a one-time cost.

Cons: 1. Not as "snappy" fast as Asana and other super streamlined AJAX apps. Page loads and menus are heavier sometimes in functionality, but at a sacrifice of speed. It isn't terrible, but compared to the instant loading of other competitors, it is noticeable. 2. More work needs to be put in on the tutorials, FAQ's and general knowledge base. The system itself is actually more mature than the documentation describing how to use it. You will spend a bit of time learning how to find your way around. Hopefully they'll flesh this out as time goes on. 3. The user interface isn't as "slick" compared to some other options. To me, it just seems a bit busy. There are lots of powerful features within Bitrix, but things need a bit of cleaning up and "gloss" to make it really beautiful.

Comments: It is taking a little while to get my head around Bitrix24 but the longer I use it the more impressed I am. I am currently using it as a stand alone Time/Project management tool and it is terrific, especially in terms of journalling all my work (much better than having bits of paper and diaries to search through). I want to also use the CRM and collaboration modules but to do it using Outlook as my primary email device. While incoming non-bitrix emails can be redirected trough Bitrix (thus tracking conversations) there seems to be no way of directing my sent mail ). I am orking with support to see if there is a way to do this, if so it will e an excellent tool

Pros: Generous free plan OS and Android apps Comprehensive features

Cons: Support, FAQ and training articles only provide the most basic information are often not easy to understand. Lack of any easy way to funnel emails from external clients (e.g. Outlook) through Bitrix

Pros: The best about Bitrix24 is the way it combines the CRm with the telephony, by giving the necessary tools of a contact-center for an average company with a really user friendly online platform. We are implementing the features one by one, so organical change is also possible.

Cons: We had to use a SIP telephone provider, as we found that EU prices of telephony were more expensive than our previous provider. But using the built in SIP connector, we could connect our Voip provider and it took less than 1 hour to make this connection.

Recommendations to other buyers: We were lookiing for a solution to help our CRM and telephony come together, while making sure that we fulfill the legal obligations of Healthcare. First we decided what our key points were and then we tried numerous solutions from the user point of view.

Comments: I chose Britix out of a number of other free options primarily for the CRM functionality, but I have discovered so many other useful things such as the email server, the workgroups, invoicing - it's everything I need in a very neat package. I have found some of the processes challenging but there is a wealth of information available to support me - I am looking forward to getting my teeth into Workflows! I have booked myself onto a couple of webinars and have been watching the pre-recorded ones, as well as going through the e-learning materials. I am confident that this is going to be of real benefit to my business.

Cons: It's a bit early to say as I am still learning how to use it. There are a few problems I have come up against: although I have changed the currency to £ in the settings, the dollar sign keeps popping up as a default in some areas ie Deal. It may just be down to my inexperience though, there's probably somewhere I can adjust this! Also, I am having a problem with the VAT being added on the invoice - I tried an invoice with two items and the first one was fine, it was shown without the VAT added, but the second one had the VAT included. Again, it's possibly something I've done.

Comments: We use the tool for collaborating on projects and synchronizing our teams working around the world. Once the departments within your company are created, you can assign people to them and start making tasks, calendar events etc. The flexibility of the tool is great and its usage is pretty simple and Bitrix24 makes use of modern cloud technologies to allow efficient collaboration within our company. Bottom line, we're pretty happy with the tool and are eager to see it grow. We didn't look into the CRM features but they seem to complement the tool quite well.

Pros: - Shared company and personal drives - Mobile app - Integrated voice and video conference - Tasks dashboard - Tasks can be assigned, supervised and followed within a given department of the company - Customizable activity stream with smart follow mode

Cons: - Only a few apps are available in the marketplace and most of them do not add value to the tool - Push notifications on the mobile app can be slow and the app takes some time to load on our devices. I think the overall performance of the app can be improved

Comments: Our micro company of just 5 permanent employees (sometimes growing to 9) searched for a CRM solution. Low budget was our limitation. First of all we searched for totally free solutions. Unfortunately most of them have free plans just for 2 users. Some like zoho.com have very limited functionality in free versions. Some reviews pointed to Bitrix24. It¿s not totally free, but we¿ll need just to buy some extra online storage¿ not pay monthly fees for every user. Functionality of Bitrix 24 is totally amazing ¿ much more than we expected and comfortable to use. So now we have not only CRM, but task management, document management plus collaboration platform. So Bitrix24 is really worth for trying and using ;)

Comments: I had been looking at a bunch of options that would suit the needs of my company, which is small, new, and operating on a small budget. I began by looking for file sharing alternatives that could also sync to my hard drive. When I discovered Bitrix24, I was delighted. File sharing and sync are just the beginning. Most of my company work can be done within this environment - text and video chat, task lists, time tracking, calendar, and even CRM. I have not yet managed to use all of the features - and I may not need all of the features - but so far I like what I see. This is exactly the type of program that I was hoping to find.

Pros: Many options, and they seem to work great! I had been using 365 for Windows, but had so many issues with sharing and syncing of files that I began to look for alternatives. Bitrix24 has been a relief. There are a lot of helpful videos and training options that can help to familiarize with how to get things set up and how to use various features.

Cons: It would be nice if there was an online chat support option. I never seem to find the help I need in the community forums.

Comments: I have been a google apps user for a while now and was very surprised to find out how CRM software has overtaken the simple google apps platform. I read about Bitrix24 and decided to try it for my new business. Have been amazed at the functionality offered and the way this functions as both an intranet and a CRM & project management solution. The only thing I wish they did better was customer service - it is web driven and you cant call a number

Pros: Full featured, incredible integration, true intranet portal with coordination, project planning and CRM platforms working seamlessly. Love the desktop app on my mac.

Comments: We are currently using the software to keep track of the task we need to do for each of our web development project, and Bitrix24 is indeed a great platform. We use workgroup to segregate our projects and we use task and sub-task under each of the workgroup to assign and keep track of the things that need to be done.

Pros: It is really a good idea to be able to access all the info on the desktop and also on our smart phone. There are times I think of a good idea while I am outside the office (eg. waiting for wife to finish shopping :-) and I can just whip out my smart phone and let me team explore know of the idea to test.

Cons: The only issue I had so far is that the Wiki editor is so as intuitive and easy to use as the rest of the other functionsl

All-In-One Business Solution

Comments: We are a SaaS business who specialize in the auto side of Credit Unions. We were looking for an all-in-one solution for Sales, Customer Management, Client Tracking, Task Management, and chat. I tried services such as Asana for task management, Uber Conference for voice and video calling, Slack for team chat, and Sandglaz for project management. All of these were replaced by Bitrix24. Although, I do like Slack better for team communication. Since Bitrix has everything else we need for business, It doesn't make sense to use a whole new program just for chat.

Pros: Everything is in one place. No switching through multiple applications throughout the day. It's easier for non-tech savvy people to get involved with. Mobile app to keep everything with you as you go.

Cons: Desktop website isn't very responsive (i.e. when you resize the window). Using the snap feature of Windows with Bitrix open on the web isn't very productive. Usually I have to keep it full screen to make it usable. It's difficult to have conversations within Bitrix24 and still do other things. Bitrix24 makes the chat screen take up the whole interface and you have to exit the chat before doing anything else. Fortunately they have a external download of their chat program so this isn't much of a problem. It's still a pain to have to download it separate. The interface could use some updating. It's a little "clunky" in my opinion. Although you can set deadlines on your tasks, it doesn't automatically let you know about them unless you log into the program or set a reminder manually. The spell check isn't really spell check as we know it. It will tell you a word is wrong (using red squiggles) but it won't give you a right click menu to correct it, and there is no other way I have found to correct it within the program. You must search the word in other programs (I use Google) to see the correct spelling of the word.

Comments: Bitrix 24 is a unique system that provides most of what I need to run my small business. The collaboration features are excellent and it promotes collaboration on social networking style, away from the classic email systems. The telephony feature was a deciding factor for me, with very comprehensive solution for my business needs. The CRM, though it is simple, but sufficient for me with very flexible and easy to use setup. The UI is very neat and responsive, and the system overall runs very smoothly using different Internet speeds.

Pros: Collaboration, telephony and user interface it"s a free system! Yes, it is. Allowing you to start your company with minimum cost and then you start to invest when you grow beyond 12 users. And after that you pay fixed monthly fee for unlimited number of users.

Cons: CRM can get more functionalities for the free version (I hope)

Comments: We have tested several solutions for our inner work activities and finally settled with Bitrix24. For we are a small business, the price issue is crucial for us.

Pros: - Plenty of features. We use it for project and document collaboration, for transactions (CRM), for quick communication (instant messenger, video conferencing), for HR management (since we don't have an HR). - Social interface with notifications (Activity stream). - Templates for documents and workflows. - Great mobile app. - Price. - Ease of use.

Cons: - Can seem a bit complex at first. - Still lacks some functionality, but hope, will catch up soon, as the releases are relatively frequent.

Comments: Minimal visibility of projects and tasks. There are a lot of cracks that projects, tasks and their status falls of your radar. Also, Search is not working well. The more stuff goes through the system the harder it is to find any relative content. Also, posts can get easily lost when you responding at the same time while new ones are being posted. Occasional, but it happens when you least can afford it to happen. Luck of customization of the layout makes it very unusable. Menu on the left is very narrow and wider project names don't fit. Also, Bitrix pushes features like, phone, public network that you don't need or don't want in your private network. Yes, these feature hang out in your network as destruction to your staff.
If you looking for visibility to your projects look at Kanban based PMs.

Comments: Bitrix 24 is good for small businesses that need an easy, low-maintenance, just-the-basics tools for tracking tasks, documents, conversations, data, time reports, CRM and more. File sharing and individual tasks management are strong functionality, however some other features mentioned here do not go deep - for example if you require a more robust CRM or project management solution ¿ this is probably not for you. The CRM tools are basic in terms of storing contact and meeting information ¿ but mass emails with templates, for example, along with social media marketing are not included. But that is not a bad thing ¿ Bitrix 24 is striving to be an organizational tool for businesses that just need a bit of everything to make their working lives easier.

Overall: I recommend the product for every company looking for a cost-effective software to streamline internal communications and collaboration. It contains a set of features that covered a whole range of our requirements including employee directory, task management, blogs and social networking, e-learning, and document management. There are still a number of features we don't use but plan to implement in the future: business process management and helpdesk.

Importantly, we managed to deploy it in VMWare environment to share the physical server with our e-mail gateway and domain services. As a result we saved on hardware and management.

Pros: The software is really the most comprehensive intranet solution available on the market. We were primarily looking for sharing documents and virtual workgroups to synchronize with our writers. SharePoint proved to be too expensive, platform-dependent and required time-consuming implementation. Thanks to Capterra we found Bitrix Intranet. They offer a very convenient way of testing software in their virtual lab and free on-demand webinars. We tested it and found it fits our requirements and budget limitations. For some $499 we got even more than we expected. Now we step-by-step implementing more features available in the product. Task management and calendaring is already on-air. Next in the row are instant messaging and social networking.

Cons: The back-end administration can be considered too difficult for an average user.

Overall: Go for it.

Overall: After evaluating a number of intranet collaboration platforms I've found this software to deliver the best price/quality rate. The vendor extends the traditional collaboration views with instant messaging, video conferencing, BPM, records management, eLearning, helpdesk and many more. In fact this is a swiss army knife solution that may replace a lot of other business applications in your network and allows you to save on third-party software acquisition, integration and maintenance.
