It's a shame that every time we add a service like dde, evv, chaps we had to pay extra.

Pros

I believe this software it's somewhat easy to use. The service people are very nice and very helpful.

Cons

Most financial reports are not accurate. Also it needs improvement with frequency. We tried to schedule the frequency for OT and PT and because it was not on the Oasis it will not show up therefore bringing those little triangles at the left side of the screen up. Call several times about the financial reports and no one seems to know exactly how to read them.

Pros

I really like the scheduling aspect of this software. Gives you lots of options without being overbearing. Easy to use functionality.

Cons

There is not an option to change a user's email on the front end. The developer has to be contacted in order to change an email address. Seems like it should be easier than this.

It takes too much effort to watch over these people who are not trust worthy at all. I plan on switching as soon as my contract is up. They renew contract for every little change you make to the agreement locking the client up for another whole year.

Pros

Software is decent but service and people working for the company aren't. Other than that most of the other software can do same things as well.

Cons

Accounting Department is a rip off - with really long wait times trying to get a hold of them. They overcharge every month! they also force you to buy products that are not needed, i do not need Evv or dde but i need to purchase it and pay it every month to use the basic product which is total rip off.

For services, do you want to not have good service?

Pros

When it works, it works. For over 1 mo, this has not been the case. Pros from before, unfortunately, does not outweigh the cons.

Cons

Within the last month, the software has had many glitches. The app is even worse. Nothing new with the app. 1. Cannot admit patients 2. Schedules for nurses cannot get scheduled. 3. Notes are not completed, nurses cannot get paid. Do you want to be an agency that cannot admit for the proper documentation for OASIS, 485 and other areas that are important for billing? For the past month, features and service have plummeted. A few times when I called, I was #67 or #43 in line. Today, I was #1 for all 3 calls. Time exceed 45 mins for all calls.

Goodhope Healthcare is a fairly new agency. We looked into other software because our goal was to start using software from the first day we received our Medicare certification. Being new in business, cost and quality was important to us. We looked at and evaluated other software. We looked at their Terms and Conditions even after the trial period. When the company is up and running, we will need a software that delivers everything and makes home health easy and affordable. Of course, being a new agency, we need a software company that will help us and grow with us. The other two systems that we tried cannot deliver all we needed. When we discovered Axxess, the staff was friendly at first contact, which always make a good impression. They were able to meet all our needs, and they have been there to help and teach every time, even without cost. They worked us through everything and always reassured us that they could help with any issues that arose. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they are very supportive, and they are friendly to everybody. For any problem that we have had, they either have had the answer, or they have gone out of their way to find the answer. With Axxess you do not need a large staff to run your agency, you can leave the country and still manage your company with your laptop. Axxess is user-friendly, you can learn Axxess quickly, and you care monitor every aspect of compliance issues with Axxess. We are very happy with Axxess and will not try any other software. We have found Axxess to be the best, and they have delivered everything that we have needed or will need.

Pros

User friendly, Greatest strength is the interface for performing all clinician progress notes, Oasis Etc. Customer Support is always available to help you and resolve the issues, (if you may have one.) they are very professional and the wait time is very reasonable compared with others. Stays on top of regulatory changes with smooth updates. New Agency training experience was amazing (Vareena) help us with every question and even when the agency finished the training, she has always been there to help us with new updates etc. I really recommend Axxess to be your EMS solution for Home Health.

Cons

Haven't found any cons in almost 1 year of use with Axxess. The software has exceeded all my expectations.

Accessible everywhere and easy to navigate. Easy billing. Electronic verification visit is great for verification purposes .

Cons

when the software is very slow during the updates , it looks like they don't know what's going on . Axxess Rep. does not call back or follow up with the client when they received an issues or tickets.

This is not a good software for home health.

Cons

Poor customer service. I was on hold for over 2 hours. They implement updates at 3pm on a Friday when no assistance is available; they do not prepare users for the updates. Physician orders are impossible to do in the field, medication profiles cannot be updated and signed in the field on a tablet.

Pretty easy to use, mobile to desktop sync is decent, cut and paste feature available and easy to use.

Cons

I have noticed that the narrative notes are editable by other with admin rights. As I am the nurse signing for the information, others should not be able to change information. This is illegal.

They need to improve on their call wait time.

Pros

Ease of use and price is reasonable. Web base interface is better than most software but needs improvement with clinical response selection.

Cons

Customer support is really bad. Wait time is over an hour and they drop your call. I would not recommend this to people who doesn't have patience to wait.

Easy to enter in profiles for patients and staff. Scheduling center is easy to use.

Cons

Unable to add notes under staff profiles. This would be a helpful feature to add so that the contacts you've made with this staff regarding scheduling, HR, etc could be documented and tracked.

Pros

I like the the easy use of using the app on my phone, the patient signature app feature is wonderful and convenient. I love that the app is not limited to physical therapy and that other healthcare professionals can collaborate with therapists so that there's more of a team approach to the patient's care. I was also quite impressed with the proactive customer service approach in which they repeatedly contacted me to ensure my question was answered.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve in the beginning and also I wish that I wouldn't get inundated with general messages from other disciplines that don't pertain to me; if the software was a little more specific to each user in that sense, that would be more convenient.

Do not waste your money and your time on this company. I would not recommend this software to even my competitors. I have had much success using Kinnser.

Pros

It was easy getting in touch with a sales team and they were very eager to start services. What follows afterwards is a whole different story.

Cons

Expect to wait over 45 min to 60 min for anyone to answer their phones. Worst customer service from an "established" company. Major glitches with the software. Hours of clinical charting disappeared and nonrecoverable due to changes with the new COP. The new Medicare COP was announced in 2017, yet in 2018 the software is yet to be reliable.

The ever changing Conditions of Participation make it difficult to master the software because it is changing so often.

The reports are limited. Customer service is extremely poor. Too many billing issues. They like to charge for additional services not requested or needed.

Why is Axxess not willing to send notifications when there is a software change in billing?

Pros

Easy to use, all inclusive software. Allows for patient signature and for staff to complete paperwork on phone.

Cons

We receive no notifications on changes to our billing by AXXESS. We find out when our claims are rejected by insurance companies, costing months in delayed payments and time to figure out what changes Axxess made but did not bother to notify us of.
