Pros

I really like the ease of use and the layout is great.

Cons

I especially dislike the Medication Record feature. It is very cumbersome when readmitting a patient from the discharged status. The App. needs much work. I find that my nurses and myself do not use it often as the information does not cross over to the skilled note. This can be a time saver if it work better in that manner.

Cons

Not able to print orders in a batch, Not having Therapy Manager, I have called several times to see if this would be a new feature added soon, no return calls.

I love Axxess Agencycore Software because of the following reasons: 1. Easy to use - you can open up-to 8 Window-tab to move around the software 2. There are more than one-way to access different forms 3. It is Web based-that means access anytime and anywhere 4.The monthly fees are very competitive and less expensive than other software 5. Free access to clearing-house to submit your claims 6. It has error-scrubbing to reduce rejections 7. The Dashboard is very efficient and you can go to any areas of the software from the Dashboard. 8. The billing areas of the software is very good, you can easily submit your claims after verification of all care-plan has been done. 9. Free on-going training for all your clinician and staff 10. Axxess Agencycore support is very good because all their support staff are nurses and billers who really understand home healthcare agencies needs.

Developers are poor in communicating when they are doing updates. And when you call support team looks like they don't know what's going on too.

I work QA and have worked with 6 different software systems, so have had ample opportunity to evaluate and compare the software available. Axxess is an easy system for the people in the field to use, but is lacking for all others. The worst thing about axxess are all of the "glitches"! The system goes down as frequently as the stock market! There is little to no customer service, especially on the weekend. I was placed on hold for support once for over an hour, at which point I finally hung up. What Axxess lacks in software reliability it makes up for in marketing! If only all of the people who are busy sending out e-mails about how wonderful they were would actually work to make the system wonderful, it would be flawless! I work with several agencies, so I get several messages a week telling me how good Axxess is, while I am trying to get the system to work!

The customer support was always fantastic and the software was pretty easy to learn and use for everyone.

Cons

We are a new office/business and unfortunately we were priced out of continuing to use Axxess. Had the pricing been better, we would have stayed forever, but over 1 thousand dollars a month for software alone on a new business is too difficult to stomach.

Rebecca Mason is wonderful, she is my go to person all the time at Axxess, I truly miss that she is not there everyday. She helps me with everything, from Oasis to reports. She always calls back, not like others. I only call on the days is she working. I use Axxess Agencycore and DDE all day, everyday. I love not having to go into the black screen...Axxess DDE is great, a lifesaver!!!!

Pros

It's very user friendly.

Cons

My main responsibility is reporting, what I hope to see soon is AD Hoc reporting option. So that you can make reports specific to your companies needs.

Pros

The woman who helped me was awesome. You have some very kind people there. Setting up a new insurance carrier was simplistic and I was able to bill with ease.

Cons

None of the forms are customizable. If you have two different branches there should be two sets of invoices etc instead of having to print an invoice and modify it. It's frustrating to always have to have a work around for something that should take 5 minutes.

We were a new agency and had previously experienced a negative experience with another software system. I was a little disheartened about finding a software company with ease of use and experienced staff. Well, we found it with Axxess. I am especially thankful for Pat Evans. Our agency is extremly thankful for her assistance with all our questions and educating our staff when ever we call. Pat is always professional and has a knack for calming our staff down when distressed about a problem. She goes beyond the call of duty by connecting you with another staff if she's unable to answer a question and calls you later to confirm that your concerns were solved. She has the ability to make you feel as though you are her only customer when she's working with you on the phone. Pat Evans is truly an asset to Axxess and our agency.

Overall affordable lower end of the EMR systems, very commonly used in the home care industry, get what you pay for kind of a program. Fulfills all of our basic needs.

Pros

Easy to use, and easy to educate those on field visits along with those in the office. Recently underwent a transition of EMR software from one to another and was easier to input new information into axxess in comparison to our previous EMR vendor.

Cons

Horrible customer service. They go through periods of not answering or answering but the tech on the line does not know what the question is and/or what our home care needs are to properly answer

The software does have functionality and interfaces nicely via your computer. I would more instructional videos on using an iPad and iPhone in greater depth.

Pros

The fact that you can do your notes on the computer is helpful.

Cons

Need Spell check grammar check interfacing better with iOS products. Medicare templates check off list so you don't miss anything. Make operation easier have example notes for mental health psychiatry which is an up-and-coming area in home healthcare.

Pros

The software is very user-friendly. All areas walk you through the task. The webinar training is offered on a rolling schedule, making it very convenient during the orientation process for new users. The software integrates with other processes for billing ease, cost reporting, and OASIS submission. It truly is a one-stop shop.

Cons

You can not schedule a visit unless that discipline is a user. For example, an HHA's schedule can be used without having that specific home health aide as a user. We are a small agency that really can't afford to put every employee in as a user, but it would be nice to have that schedule electronic.

I have reviewed Kennser and we used to use Craddle. You beat them both hands down; Kennser, because you do everything they do (except their med list is better than yours but even that has improved since we started using you) and your price is much better. And Craddle may be a good software, but the IT support is horrible. I have recommended your company to any one who will listen and when I start my own home health, I will be using you. You are still working on some of the report sections and I like the Medicare billing, but the other billing section is more complicated than it needs to be. Your IT department is top notch. I have never worked with better. I have given several suggestions which you have considered and implemented some. You have a wonderful, fully functional company. Thank you.
