The system has some flaws as do most systems. But the system is not geared to grow with your company. It is an ok system to start with. But the communication from this company about follow up on requests, changes made to the system and changes in their policies does not exsist!

Pros

Easy to use/user friendly. Cost is reasonable compared to some other companies.

Cons

Not good at notifying people of changes made to the system. They have a help section that you can refer to if you think to do it. It would be helpful if they sent out an email introducing the changes and then refer to the help tab for more details. If you put in a request for a change, they write it down but it never gets done/never notified when it has been completed. They recently stopped giving help to the billing people without any notice. Because they opened their own billing and want people to use them. I can totally understand that, but the decent thing to do would have been to send out a COMMUNICATION to their customers that this was going to happen giving them a chance to either sign up with them or find other support. It is because of this we are looking for another company to work with.

The Axxess software is user friendly, from the office staff to the field staff. Our documentation gets submitted much faster since using Axxess.

Cons

I currently do not use Axxess Agency Core to bill because it's easier on our other system. However, now that DDE is incorporated, I may try again.

I have tried so many software demos with free trials for months; nothing really impressed me until, I found Axxess in 2011 through a good friend Ms. Pat. I liked it the first time she introduced me to Axxess, it was like love at first sight. I was very familiar with Kinnser and I like their system but couldn't afford it. Nevertheless, Axxess surpassed my expectation. It is user friendly, you do not have to open and close each time you need to browse on a new page. You can have 8 different tabs open at the same time. So you can be working on two different task without leaving or closing the tab; you have the ability to multitask. I always tell my new nurse that we have a great system, its web-base and easy to use, that's one good advantage for our nurses!!!

Pros

Liked this product because it used to be all inclusive for physicians portal and Electronic Visit Verification where as many charge you extra for all the things you need.

Cons

the fact that they decide to change the product with no notification and services that used to be included are not any longer, very deceptive. Bad business decision. If we hadn't already been through two previous software changes we would be leaving AXXESS as well.

Cons

New processes and services yet, no communication until after the fact. Prices keep changing, yet no way to get a list of tiers for monthly payments. COULD BE MORE FINANCIAL REPORTS.

I have used a number of different home health software vendor and Axxess has been the most user-friendly. The quality of the clinical documentation is top notch, our nurses and therapist love it. Our billing department has been happy because we are able to bill more insurance companies now. I really like Axxess support because they know what they are doing. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I strongly recommend Axxess because it is complete, fully integrated and user-friendly. After attending several industry trade shows and comparing Axxess with other vendors, I would say Axxess is definitely the leading web based home health software on the market right now and with our feedback, it keeps getting better. I am a happy customer.

Pros

The people that help guide me through the day to day struggles of acclimating to a new software. There is never a frustrating sigh or a hmmph "it's this guy again, its great to talk to you and how can I help you! THAT is customer service!

Cons

I really can't say there is anything I do not like about AXXESS. It is extremely easy to use and really keeps me on track with payroll and billing and my nurses love it for its ease of use.

The cost, the multi-window feature, and being able to view all claim history for all claims billed by patient.

Cons

Issues with payroll view that then leads to issues with time overlap, and mobile view of Agencycore is not compatible with all devices or computer screens.

Pros

The entire program is very easy to learn and use (except for some glitches). Easy access from anywhere, even while on vacation. Overall it's a great product.

Cons

(1) Price increased without notification. (2) Limited reports. (3) Patient Chart Schedules should show actual visit dates, not scheduled dates so they are not confusing to staff. (4) If changing/correcting SOC date, you have to manually update different forms to sync the date. It would be easier to have a one-stop screen to change an episode's SOC date across the board. (5) Missed visit submission is confusing for staff. (5) System still has some glitches. User Acceptance Testing would help to thoroughly test the system, specifically the new features, so glitches can be identified and fixed early.

I love this software because it is easy to use. i can send claims electronically through the software, i can verify medicare eligibility directly from the software anytime. the mobile app too is so useful, we are able to have our patients sign notes when completed from the phone.

Cons

there is nothing i don't like about Axxess. They answer all my questions at the right time, they are available to help even after hours.

Pros

Ease of operation, easy to learn, great support, nurses love it and we don't spend a lot of time teaching. I am so happy with the billing in this program, anyone could do it, trust me on this. Also, we had the DDE and they have made it easy to read and use. I am very satisfied.

Cons

The only thing that I would consider a problem was that I had to install Firefly to run as it does not like regular internet explorer.

Axxess has helped our agency grow without having to hire lots of additional staff. I like that the software is comprehensive. We have been Axxess Agencycore since February, 2011 and their customer service is great. What I really like about their customer service is that the folks that answer the phones really understand the home health business. They are not just tech suppport people. The software keeps getting better and better. Since we signed up with them they have introduced lots of additional features that makes life easier for us. I am really proud to be their customer and would not consider running our business without their software. They have grown with us and we wish them continued success.

As a HealthCare Consultant for several Home Health Agencies in Florida, I encounter Agencies with ineffective and antiquated software systems. The HHA that I visit seek a more user friendly and a product that would enhance the function of the HHA. I have used the Axxess Agencycore and must say it has features that were very compelling. I love the ability to use multiple-screens at one time, thus being able to focus on the project that one was working on. It also identifies entry mistakes so one can correct before processing. I feel it is a great product that would definitely benefit Home Health Agencies. Finally, something positive get through for Home Health Agencies!
