They are the most helpful people! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is awesome! I love this program it has made my life so much easier!

Pros

I like all the options it allows me. I can set up all my properties as unique individual properties. I love the ability for my cleaning company to log on and see what jobs are available to clean also the ability to send messages to me about situations they come across while cleaning. I also like the owner can log in as well! I can create owner statements.

Cons

The only part I don’t like is all the invoices I have to set up on bookings prior to integrating. I understand the necessity of it tho .

Reason for choosing Lodgix

It seems to have everything and more of what we needed.

Going for no online booking system to Lodgix was simple to learn and maintain. I'm sure there are features I'm not aware of. The bonus is the back end the takes care of the financials that works with my Quickbooks

...but this comes very close. I chose it because it was one of the few channel managers for small businesses than I could run on my \*own\* website, but it has many other good points.

Pros

Very flexible; very customizable; excellent, prompt support; excellent documentation

Cons

If you want a to integrate this channel manager into an existing website (rather than using just the provided pages) be prepared to troubleshoot--that's not really what the software was built for. Also, all the options and flexibility can be a bit overwhelming at first.

As a real estate agent, when I first started doing vacation rentals I used a manual system of having a calendar for each unit and I provided quotes to potential guests manually calculating the daily rate, cleaning and taxes. As I grew and had more units it became very difficult & time consuming. I recall going on vacation with my two 3 inch binders with my rental schedule ready to give quotes as I checked my email & spending a lot of my vacation time responding to inquiries. I researched various companies to find a software that could simplify my business. I was apprehensive at first, for me it seemed so overwhelming to have to learn a new system. I choose Lodgix as it made the most sense it terms of being user friendly. After a few days I was up and running. Now I wouldn't be able to do it any other way. I was at a point with over 30 vacation rentals, me myself & I and there was no way this could be done manually anymore. Brent, the CEO has always been a quick response to my questions or problems. I would recommend the LODGIX software for your vacation rentals business!

Pros

I love having a calendar that compiles all my reservations from various sites onto one platform. I also love that it is keeping track of all the reservations, income, and guests profile.

Cons

I just wish there was a mobile app. and wish to have a person to talk to via phone in real time.

I have only positive things to say about Lodgix software and support team. The software does everything I need (and more) and any questions I have can be swiftly resolved using the unbelievably clear and detailed help manuals. The support team are very knowledgable and come back with swift, concise solutions and answers.

Pros

Ease of use, intuitive user interface. These guys obviously work in the industry, becuase everything has been thought of!

Fully integrated with Facebook, VRBO/HomeAway, etc with one central place to edit listings and rates and availability.

Pros

One central editing location for my rental listings and fully integrated with the leading rental websites.

Cons

I have to create my own monthly earned income report used for my taxes. They only have a check in monthly income report instead of reporting actual deposits for future dates as well as when the balances are actually paid for current accounting months.

Pros

Lodgix is intuitive to navigate and easily integrate-able. Great customer service and an extensive online manual that is actually helpful.

Cons

The only negative thought I have had so far, and it is not huge, is I would like to charge a pet fee per pet per night. The only way currently in the software is per pet per stay. For a property where stays are all typically the same length that is no problem. My properties lengths of stay varies from 2 days to 2 weeks and I would like to charge a little more in pet fees for those who stay longer with pets. The reason being wear and tear, not to mention cleaning, from pets is generally double what you see from guest traffic alone.

My experience using Lodgix has been amazing. There is a great resource section to answer most questions, but their customer service department responds very quickly to inquiries.

Pros

It is very easy to use.

Cons

I have not figured out the calendar syncing with Airbnb, VRBO and google calendar, but that could be a my issue, not the software's.

Pros

Lodgix is forever improving and growing and I admire that. The price is good, the software is extremely helpful and easier than most to learn and grow into. Customer support is very helpful and we love the fact that if we are feeling we aren't understanding something, we can set up a conference call and a few days later, our questions are answered in depth. We plan to continue using Lodgix and look forward to the new options coming available. We totally recommend Lodgix to all!

Cons

So far, nothing! It works great for our needs and we greatly appreciate all the improvements and add-ons!

If you are marketing any rental properties online, this is a no brainer. When potential guests use the Lodgix reservation system, it adds a ton of credibility and professionalism. In just a couple of months the rental payments we've captured have brought us a huge ROI over the low monthly subscription fees.

Pros

\- Guests can easily book and pay through our website - Robust backend reservations system for internal use - User friendly and attractive design - AMAZING customer support. They got back to all support requests immediately. - Integrates with Wordpress. - PayPal integration is slick. Easily see pending transactions and past due payments on backend. - Booking widget embed code to place anywhere. - Low monthly subscription price - Cloud based, so no tricky installations, instant upgrades, no need to back up.

Cons

Just a minor thing, but Wordpress integration did require me to modify the plugin code slightly to get auto generated pages to look nice with our WP theme. Only took a minute to tweak.
