A product’s price can vary greatly based on features needed, support or training required, and customization requests. Some vendors want a chance to talk to you before being ruled out for pricing. When you find a product that fits your needs, you should talk to the vendor to figure out what they can offer.
BuildingLink Reviews
Pros
Building Link is a fabulous resource for tenant resources, directory and bulletin boards. Its an easy way to connect tenants and provide information.
Building Link has helped keep me informed as a user and I love the posting feature, to share ideas, needs etc. with other tenants.
Cons
The software sometimes crashes randomly and the residents struggle to upload a maintenance request.
Violation Mgmt; The lack of any system for violation mgmt is crippling for HOA/COA use cases. It's the single major non-aesthetic feature that should be prioritized.
"Residents Encyclopedia"
Overall: Building Link has helped keep me informed as a user and I love the posting feature, to share ideas, needs etc. with other tenants.
Pros: Building Link is a fabulous resource for tenant resources, directory and bulletin boards. Its an easy way to connect tenants and provide information.
Cons: The system home page could use an upgrade, it's very dated and loaded with too many visuals/clipart.
"Best for maintenance and reservations tracking"
Overall: We were satisfied by the software most of the time.
Pros: The most we used was the maintenance and reservations. It's very clear and every move is recorded, so you can't just delete stuff.
Cons: It's not an updated slick software, it's old fashioned. There are more advanced options avail.
"The worst User Experience award 1994-2024"
Pros: Worst User experience ever. Seriously, was is it designed in 80s? It's 2024!! the worst UX I've seen in the past 5 years. Not only It allows to book services in the past (???), then it doesn't allow me to book anything in the actual future. Why it's even on the market???
Cons: Honestly, haven't seen this dated interface in years
"Customized for Communities"
Pros: The MarketPlace posting feature helps to connect with and interact with neighbors without much effort, great for trading tips, selling furniture etc.
Cons: The system designed for our community is old and outdated, looks like a portal space from the late 90s.
"We use BuildingLink at our office condo "
Pros: - Web-based platform makes it easier to load via your phone or computer device. - Ability to easily book amenities, issue parking passes etc makes life a lot simplier
Cons: Overall I don't have any complaints about the product, but the interface looks a little clunky and outdated
