Optometrist Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Excellent Patient Management Software" July 18, 2022 5.0 Saving time, money and paperwork have been the main benefits with using Blink Software. The support staff are amazing. It is is easy to raise issues and any concerns are addressed promptly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff! I just wish I had integrated my practice with this Software sooner. Pros The eGOS software has been a gamechanger for us. I can not do justice to the time we save using Blink eGOS on a daily basis. Record keeping for tests carries forward previous test information therefore one does not have to log out of a record to check the previous visit information. Also eye health results are copied on to the next visit which saves our Optometrist time when recording if there are no changes from the patient' last visit. These features also apply to dispensing information as all relevant information can be obtained on to one screen without having to alternate between different sections. Cons It would be good if the Red Eye Exam section would forward and maintain the information at the next Red Eye Exam visit. Sometimes follow ups are needed for Red Eye consultations and one has to keep reverting back to the previous record for cross referencing as the Red Eye Exam does not have the same feature as the Spectacle Eye exam feature. Alternatives considered [Optisoft](https://www.capterra.com/p/147465/Optisoft/) Reason for choosing Blink I have used Optisoft in another practice but I found the software unreliable and outdated with its format. Its features are limited. Blink software is excellent value for money which is a big factor with our decision making. Review Source DH Damien H. We have just opened our third practice and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has been there every step of the way and we hope he'll be there for many years to come.
