Pros: Great client service team, really accomodating and can do attitude. The platform and technology itself is easy to use, and easily customisable to suit our brand requirements. Whilst being progressive and innovative, meaning we're always able to leverage new features.

Pros: Setting up our brand centre was fairly simple - it was easy to build pages and work with the Adgistics team to get the site ready for launch. Once you know the nuances of the software there is nothing too complicated about it, you just have to refresh your knowledge every now and then if you haven't done something for a while. Easy navigation around the site - from registering and logging in on the homepage, to the main brand centre itself. The create your own tool is fantastic and is something that a lot of other brand asset management systems don't have (particularly in the same place as the asset library) and it saves our organisation by not having to use designers. We develop templates that have a lot of flexibility for global teams, including the ability to include translations, imagery uploads and complex tables for event programmes. The ability for our central brand team to approve artwork and check that teams are using our brand and styling consistently before they can take collateral to the market is hugely beneficial.

Cons: The site management tool can be slow which makes creating and editing pages a longer task than necessary. User management is not particularly dynamic and disabling accounts/any changes at all need to be done manually (no bulk editing available, unlike other areas of the site). We have had a major issue implementing single sign-on with an error that just can't be fixed so now the team is rebuilding our site to fix it. 8 months has passed in this time though with users struggling with the site/unable to enter the site. I've found that when we originally got the brand centre our account management was more focussed and worked with us to build up the features on the site, but since we've got to a more mature level and they have taken on many new clients the attention to detail has slipped - and if I'm being honest, I often feel like we're of a lower priority than other, newer clients. Their resourcing should align with the number of clients being taken on. They also need teams to look after clients as if our account manager is out of the office, there isn't someone else to contact for day-to-day jobs. If you ring the helpdesk they almost always say they don't know what's really going on and to wait for the account manager to come back to the office, unless it's a simple user/brand centre error.

Pros: The tool is extremely collaborative and easy to use. It allows us to run our campaigns across multiple channels and territories while ensuring full compliance with the brand's guideline

Cons: The software allows us to create new brand assets based on templates. It can take some time to build these templates into the system at the beginning of the process but it saves us a lot of time once ready.

Overall: This software allows us to manage the brands in a very user-friendly environment and it ensures that all the parties within our organization are following our brands guidelines

The backend is very old and not very convenient to work with.

Pros: It is a brand center. The Front end which is designed by us looks still good after a couple of years.

Cons: The technology feels outdated and it has a lot of bugs which occur with no clear reason. Mantainance is time consuming.

Overall: We needed a brand center and we had adgistics as our partner to develop this idea.

Pros: Supports multiple languages. Able to take InDesign files and create a pretty accurate template from it.

Cons: Limited feature set. Can be confusing interface. Keywords are limited. Templates aren't easiest to set up in languages.

Pros: Easy to upload, back up solution for files, creative review tool.

Cons: Sometimes takes long to upload large files.

Overall: I am happy with the Barclays Brand Site, it delivers on all our business needs on a daily basis as it saves us a lot of time, money and the features are just great, for an example the Creative review tool for our debriefing works wonders. As an administrator of the Site at Absa, I find it much easier to train our Agencies and Internal stuff on how to use the system and the feedback is always positive.

Pros: It frees up my time to focus on more strategic work.

Cons: Uploading and organizing files. There should be an easier way to bulk keyword things like editing in a spreadsheet view. It took a lot of time to get files uploaded and organized, and there's still more work we could be doing.

Overall: Our rep is wonderful to work with. We have seen a significant drop in internal requests after implementing BrandHub, which has saved our team a lot of time. The templates are a great way to maintain brand standards without hand-holding. The initial upload of files was quite labor intensive. I believe there are some improvements that could be made to the functionality in this regard. Overall, the value it has created for us is well worth the investment financially and in our time.

Comments: Having evaluated and used five brand management systems, this system fits into the way we do business and not the other way around. User adoption has been and minimal training is required given the simple user interface. Additionally, the artwork automation tools has significantly reduced the strain on our creative service department!
