It made managing public programs much easier and eliminated a lot of the manual work that comes with registrations, payments, attendance lists, and communicating with participants. I especially appreciated having one place to manage the logistics of a program from registration through attendance. It was a practical, dependable tool that made my day-to-day event and program management much more efficient. Pros I used Eventbrite regularly for museum education programs, including classes, workshops, public programs, and special events. What I liked most was how easy it made the registration process for both our staff and our visitors. We could quickly build an event, set attendance limits, collect participant information, and monitor registrations without a lot of extra administrative work. It was especially helpful when we had multiple programs running at the same time because I could easily see what was filling up, manage waitlists, and keep track of attendance. Cons The biggest limitation for me was customization. As a museum, we often wanted the registration experience to feel more connected to our institution and individual programs, and there were times when Eventbrite felt a little restrictive in how much we could customize the registration page and participant experience. Payments and ticket confirmations work smoothly, and the automated emails reduce a lot of manual follow-up. I also find the interface easy to navigate and the reports useful for quickly checking sales and attendance. Support resources have been helpful when I’ve needed clarification. Considering how much of the event workflow it handles in one platform, I’ve found the overall value to be very good. Pros Event creation and ticket management are very easy to handle, even when setting up an event quickly. I especially like having registration, payments, attendee emails, and basic reporting in one place. The dashboard makes it simple to track ticket sales and attendee numbers without having to use separate tools. Cons The fees can become noticeable for paid events, especially as ticket volume increases. I also think some of the reporting and email customization options could be more flexible. These haven’t been major issues for me, but more control in these areas would make the platform even better.
